Chapter 7

Twilight Venkman was so excited she hadn't Been out with Anyone in forever. And now she was going out with the adorable Flash. She was dressed up in a beautiful dress that she had for years just for such an occasion but never got the oppurtunity to wear before.

It was a beautiful blue color and Sparkled in the light and had green lace trim around it. She sure hoped flash liked it. She got in her car and headed to meet him at his apartment.

When she arrived there she became greatly nervous as it became time to knock on the door to his apartment. Her hooves shook as she reached over to knock on the door. Then he opened the door.

Twilight felt like her heart stopped as she saw Flash. He had his mane combed back real nice and was dressed in a really nice black dress jacket with a red tie. He looked so good to her. Hi Flash she said blushing you looking really nice. So do you he said.

Flash took her to a very fancy restaurant. Venkman had never seen anything like this before. The place had a large glass window overlooking a waterfall by the tables. Their waiter was a blue Minotaur named Iron Will.

What can Iron Will get you? He asked. Flash and Twilight looked at their menu's. Give us a bottle of your best champagne and let us each have some of your ratatouille. It will all be the best you've ever had Iron Will said our food is so good if you don't like it no refunds. What? Twilight said if you don't like it shouldn't there be a refund. No Iron Will said Iron Will learned his lesson.

As he left to get their food Twilight said. Why would you do all this for me? Because you're the most beautiful mare I've ever seen Flash said blushing and I really like you. Twilight almost cried I never thought I'd mean this much to anyone.

So tell me he said what made you want to investigate ghosts to begin with? I can't really say she replied it was just always something that interested me. But for years I didn't think such a thing was real. I even became somewhat of a fraud just using the phenomenon to make money. That doesn't really seem like you he said. it wasn't She said I just thought that's all I could do I'm not sure how to get by on my own. never have been perhaps that's why and I'm still a blank flank.

So basically you're saying he said if you took something you were passionate about and made it into a money making scheme. pretty much she said I didn't know what else to do and if not for my friends I probably would still be doing that. Well he said friendship is a very powerful thing you're fortunate to have good friends. how do you feel about doing what you've always wanted to do? mostly good she replied there's still something missing something that I just don't understand. it's probably tied to your special talent he said. Don't worry it will come in time. I hope you're right she said. I believe in you he replied.

About this time iron well came back with the food. So they began to eat the food was very good. after a little bit twilight said by the way we found information on zuul. Really? Flash said what did you discover? Apparently zool was a changeling that was worshipped by other changeings in the 1600s that because of its evil was eventually banished to the phantom zone by Princess celestia. But apparently she must have gotten out somehow. So you're basically saying like a changeling god? He asked. It would seem that way she replied. what's she doing in my refrigerator? he asked. that's what we're trying to find out Twilight replied.

Meanwhile rainbow spanker was working on this very thing as they spoke. Had been searching all over the Internet for the answer. she was beginning to get frustrated then Pinkie said something why don't we just ask celestia about it? How are we supposed to do that rainbow asked it's not like you can just easily get an appointment with celestia. no not everyone can Pinkie said. but I can because I've done birthday parties for the royal guard. Really? rainbow asked why didn't you mention this before? never thought about it before pinkie said. just thought if Celestia sent this zuul to the phantom zone maybe she could help us figure out what's going on. It's worth a try rainbow said. But you better make the arrangements pinkie. I can do Pinkie said.

As they headed back to his apartment. Twilight and flash both new that tonight had started something special. Twlight asked him a question did you mean What you said. What thing? flash asked. The part about I will find my purpose and you believe in me. Absolutely I mean it he replied. You are a very smart mare. You will figure it all out. as long as you don't sell yourself out again. be true to yourself and your passion don't settle for less. I don't think I ever could again She said. My friend's showed me the way. When you've made a new friend he said. Just a friend? she asked. Well at least that we'll see what the future holds he replIed. Pinkie made a phone call To a friend in the royal guard. The friend was a pony named Archer. Yes Archer replied. Hello this is pinkie Stantz Pinkie replied. Hello Pinkie He said what can I do for you? I need to talk to celestia she replied. You know not just anyone can talk to celestia Archer said. I know she said but this is important. It appears some sort of spirit thingy that she banished to the phantom zone may be back. You don't mean Zuul? he said. Actually I do she replied. After a moment of silence he said I will get right on that. I can guarantee an audience with Celestia.
