Hay this is my first story so while I expect criticism realize I'm no righter or journalist this is just for the fun of it that said I will put the time into it for it to be legible.

Pain. It was all I felt until like a light turned of I felt nothing. ...

three years before canon.

like breaching the surface of a frozen lake I was awake. at first there was only one thing I new and that was that my eyes where closed. the first thing I learned was that I was lying on grass. the second was that despite not opening my eyes I could see the world in shades of red. I could see stones and a few trees but what quickly caught my attention was the squirrel in one of a-formentiond tree's. It was then that my tired mind realized I was seeing it's heat signature.

After that wonderful yet seemingly impossible revelation I slowly opened my eyes only to immediately close the when the bright light of the sun felt like it was attempting to burn my eyes or of my skull. "the fuck, never hurt that bad to look at a bright light" so against a saner man's better judgement I opened my eyes and began to Blink rapidly in order to stem the pain.

untold blinks later I finally could keep them open with little more then a slight dry feeling. apon looking around I figured somthing out. I only saw heat signatures when I focused on it or when my eyes where closed. on trying to get up for the first time it failed on account of an unexpected wait on my back. my second attempt was much more successful. so after having stud up I decided to have a look at my self.

I'm wearing leather tight finger gloves a gray button up fattige jacket over a red shirt and under a light brown combat vest (the kind with ceramic plates.) gray cargoes and black combat boots with Kevlar shin and forearm guards finished with a wide dark green scarf made to fit like a hood hand cover nose and mouth that drapes over my left soldier. altogether a rather militaristic look only made more so by the combat knife and the 1911 on my tailbone and right hip dual side holster prospectively.

Having seen my outfit and not been left wanting I walked until I came to a small pond in the forest. neeling down I looked at my reflection. I noticed that aside from my snow white complection I had slightly more pronounced tearducts along with the area around my eye being very... shal we say raw looking and my eye being both crimson and shaped like a snakes.

so having been more than a little off put by that I decided to find out where I was. so picking what I think is north is started walking.

"This is going to take a while"

and that is the first chapter of a snake in the grass it's an experiment but one I kind of have a few plans for.

P.S for the eyes look up of orochemaru.
