Disclaimer: Nanny characters and story are not mine, Sabrina is, yada yada yada.

The day went by as normal. Sabrina headed off to rehearsals, and CC went over to the Sheffield house to do some more business on planning the marketing process with Maxwell. Since West Side Story was opening in a couple of months, their plan at this point was to get more people to promote and support the show. They already had enough backers to support their funds towards production, but they needed to expand their audience. Of course, since Sabrina was in the show, their goal was to target her fans. Maxwell's marketing strategies were to make sure that Sabrina's name and face were on a good majority of the posters and billboards. To him, this was the best way to get people to purchase tickets for opening night. Of course, talking about marketing strategies meant that CC needed to stay a bit later for work. She had gotten ahold of her daughter in the theater and informed her to get to the Sheffield house afterwards so they could meet each other before heading home. Being in the office planning the marketing strategies felt different to her now that she was actually planning on displaying her daughter's face everywhere in New York City. It felt odd, but she also felt.. proud as a mother. Her baby grew up to be a sensational star, and this production would only make it better for her career to soar.

CC finally took a break from the office and took her empty tea mug walking back to the kitchen. Noticing that nobody was there to assist her, she called out, "Niles!" She didn't receive a response like she normally did. "Niles?" she called out again.. not receiving an answer. "You damn good for nothing butler, get over here and get me some more tea!" she shouted. Why wasn't he answering her? CC huffed angrily and strode over to the living room. She stopped her tracks noticing Niles, Fran, and the children sitting by the coffee table to witness both of the domestics playing cards.

"Okay, Niles. Either you draw another card and raise or ya fold," the nasal voiced nanny said as she held her card hand close to her. Fran had been an undefeated champion of poker for the past hour. Now that she had dominated Maggie, Brighton, and Grace, she decided to challenge Niles. He was quite nervous when coming into the game since he hadn't played poker in a couple years. Of course, they were all going to Atlantic City soon, so he would have his chance to gamble eventually.

"Miss Fine, don't you think it's a little too early to fold the cards?" Niles asked nervously looking at his hand. He had already asked that question four times, due to the fact that his hand was not that great. If he were to fold, Fran would win the game.

"Niles, it was too early to fold the cards four rounds ago," Fran reminded him just to call him out. "Just give it up and fold."

Niles reached over to try and draw another card, but Grace - who was sitting on the couch behind Niles - told him, "Don't bother. It's not worth it." She shook her head knowing how bad his hand was.

Fran sighed looking over at her friend who was worried sick seeing his concert ticket he saved up for Reba McEntire in front of him. "Oh come on, Niles. It's just a friendly game. All we're doing is just playing for fun! Now hurry up and fold. I wanna hold my ticket to Reba."

"I am not giving up my front row seat to Reba!" Niles shouted in defeat. His concert ticket for Reba was the main bet of the game for the round, and it looked like Fran was going to win the ticket from Niles, which he purchased using three months worth of savings.

"I don't know about you, but I'm ready to fold.." Fran said as she slowly moved her card hand to face Niles. She had a perfect straight flush once again, which made Niles huff in defeat. He slammed his scattered hand down and watched as Fran took the ticket to Reba in her hands. "Can't wait to see you next Saturday," she said to the ticket and kissed it with pride. "Oh I can't wait to tell Ma."

"Fran this isn't fair. You've won most of our possessions already. You have my favorite sweater!" Maggie said rubbing her arms up and down from the cold she was experiencing without it.

"Honey, I already told you, we can play again and you can try to win it all back," Fran chimed. She easily knew she would win again though and take more of the children's things. She already won Maggie's sweater, Brighton's baseball card collection, and Grace's night light. Now with Niles' Reba ticket, she felt officially undefeated.

"Forget it, Miss Fine. It's not fair," Niles said as he stood up. "My ticket to Reba was the only possession that I cared about. I'm just going to retire for the night." As Niles started to walk away, he stopped his tracks hearing CC loudly clear her throat to make him focus on her. Without turning around, he sighed heavily and said, "Oh god. This nightmare just got worse."

CC pushed the tea mug to his chest impatiently after he turned around to face her. "You know, I was getting really annoyed with waiting this long for you to actually get back to doing your job.. but you betting your Reba ticket and seeing Nanny Fine win it from you was the greatest knock out I've ever seen," she said laughing at how he was suffering from his loss.

"This is coming from a woman whose footprints could be mistaken for the Alaskan Sasquatch," Niles quipped back which made the blonde roll her eyes and shake her head.

"Can it, Janitor Mop," CC retorted angrily. "While you're finally refilling my tea, go make a light snack for Sabrina. She's coming here in less than a minute, and she'll probably be famished by the time she arrives."

"Oh why don't I just pull my eyeballs out and put them on a plate? It's bad enough to have one witch in the house. Why do we have to have two?" Niles replied before he started to walk away towards the kitchen.

Just when Niles started to walk away, the front door opened and Sabrina walked through the door chiming, "Hello hello!" Hearing that she had the same greeting as CC, Niles felt himself cringe at their similarities. Sabrina headed towards CC excitedly. "So... are my posters ready yet? Can I see them? I've been dying to see the new promotional material all day!"

"Honey, we haven't even got a set design on them. I already told you once they were done, you'll be the first to see the preview," CC said promising her daughter.

"Well shouldn't your marketing team hurry their asses up so I can see my posters?" Sabrina asked impatiently. She usually was excited for her own promotional material for anything, whether it would be for her album or television show she was on.

"Sabrina... Maxwell and I are the marketing team," CC reminded her putting Sabrina in her place. She knew that if she'd say that, her daughter would stop being so impatient over nothing.

"Oh.." Sabrina said in reply, quite shamefully. She didn't want to disrespect her mother like this, so she tried to make light of the situation. "Then I think you're doing great! Keep up the good work!" Sabrina nervously patted her mother on the back trying to dismiss her own comments.

Just as they were talking, Niles came out of the kitchen. "Miss Babcock?" he called out for CC.

"What?" both CC and Sabrina answered at the same time. Hearing that Sabrina responded to that, CC turned to glare at her daughter, which made Sabrina cover her mouth with her hands rapidly. Oh she would surely be dead if the cat was let out of the bag this early. CC hoped to God that Niles was stupid enough to not get the linkage to that response. She watched Niles intently, who stood there dumbfounded at the fact that Sabrina responded to that name.

Niles just stood there in complete shock and confusion as to why Sabrina would respond to CC's name. Instead of picking on CC, he walked up to her and snatched the tea cup from her hand. "Just give me the cup and control the girl. Before you know it, she'll be sporting blonde hair and wide shoulders," he said to her before he walked away back to the kitchen.

Once Niles was away from their sight, CC pulled Sabrina closer to the front door where the rest of the Sheffield family wouldn't be able to hear them. "What the hell was that?" she asked her quietly. Sabrina's eyes widened. She hadn't seen her mother this angry before, so she knew she had to keep her composure. "Didn't we just have a discussion about this before we left the house?"

"We had a discussion about ground rules, and I was completely obedient to every single one of them. Don't you think you could cut me some slack here?" the teenager inquired crossing her arms. CC was quite unlucky at how Sabrina was on the same level of stubbornness as she was. "Relax. It was an honest mistake.."

"I told you to keep your mouth shut when it came to revealing who you really are," CC responded poking Sabrina on the upper chest.

Sabrina swallowed nervously and nodded her head. "Yes you certainly did. It was an accident. I swear," she whispered back to her.

CC pursed her lips together and sighed heavily before she could get a chance to lash out. She immediately remembered that there were people watching, so she needed to compose herself. "Let me be abundantly clear: I am putting my full fledged trust in a teenage girl. For the next couple of hours, please prove to me that I'm not making a regrettable mistake."

The young girl looked down at the ground in shame. She soon found out a way to calm CC down. Whenever she'd pull the puppy dog eye trick, she knew her mother would feel bad about acting rash towards her. "I'm sorry. You know I didn't mean it.." she pouted blinking her eyes innocently.

CC sighed in defeat seeing her daughter act like this. She thought it was pathetic that Sabrina found a way to make her feel like she was a victim. Of course, this is what she had managed to learn while in foster care. She huffed and rolled her eyes saying, "I'm sure you were. Don't worry. I'm not upset with you.." Sabrina sighed contently, but then CC spoke up again, this time loud enough for everyone to hear. "You're just not going to be seeing previews of your promotional material after that little stunt you pulled tonight!" CC started to walk away from the living room and headed towards the door to the hallway.

Sabrina's jaw dropped open, and she followed her mother. She could've sworn her innocent act would work, but CC found out how to weasel her way around her daughter's bullshit. "What!?" Sabrina shouted. "Why not!? I was perfectly fine during rehearsals! Neither Dominic nor the director walked out and quit for the day, and that caps two days in a row so far!" She paused and huffed. "Please! I've been dying to see these posters!"

"You should've thought about that before you acted on impulse," CC reminded her as she approached the door blocking Sabrina from walking to the office with her. "In fact.. why don't you spend time with Nanny Fine and the children? I'm sure they'd love to have your company."

"Oh no.. they wouldn't. Trust me," Sabrina pleaded shaking her head rapidly. "Please. I'd rather be discussing business with you and Mr. Sheffield."

"There's nothing else to discuss," CC said out loud before she leaned in to whisper to her daughter. "Consider this as punishment, baby. When I come back from my meeting, I'm hopeful that you would've learned a lesson or two."

Sabrina's jaw dropped again watching CC close the door and leaving her daughter alone with Fran and the children. Since they were practically the same person, it was like fighting fire with fire. Sabrina clenched her hands into fists and raised them at the door angrily having a small silent tantrum before lowering her hands again. She then realized that she probably was being watched by everyone else, so she turned around and sported a fake smile to Fran and the children. "Hi!" she greeted in a slight sarcastic manner. She strode over to where they were sitting by the coffee table rearranging the deck of cards. "So... what are you all up to? Did you all miss me? I know I did!" With that, Maggie, Brighton, and Grace all stood up and walked away leaving Sabrina alone with Fran. This was so much worse. "Just kill me right now.." she muttered to herself.

"Oh Sab, honey, you know I missed you. Don't worry, I forgive you for that little mishap at the ball game," Fran chimed as she stood up and walked towards the girl. She wrapped her arms around Sabrina which caused the brunette teenager to push her away.

"I - I'm sorry. I'm not in the mood right now," Sabrina said politely and clasped her hands together. "Um.. so Nanny Fine.. what are you up to?" The teenager almost gagged saying that. Good God; she was going to get her mother for this.

"Well, we just had game night and I've declared myself as undefeated poker champion. Nobody's hands were quick enough to collect their cards and to call out a straight. I just managed to snatch Niles' ticket to Reba McEntire," Fran said as she walked over to the closet by the front door. "And if you think that's bad, they wouldn't match up to my cousin Bertha, who plays competitively in Vegas." Sabrina rolled her eyes. She didn't have time to listen to one of Fran's wacky family stories. "I would tell you more about her, but I'll have to save that story for another day. I'm meeting Val at the bar in a couple of hours."

Sabrina watched as Fran put on a long forest green trench coat. It wasn't just any coat, it was an original Versace. She was mesmerized by the article of clothing and how sophisticated it looked. She was hoping somehow she could get her hands on it. To reel the woman in, she gasped and exclaimed, "Wow! Nanny Fine, that is such a gorgeous coat!"

Fran beamed seeing Sabrina's honest expression. "Oh thanks! You like?" the nasal nanny answered her. She put the coat on and twirled around in it showing it off to the girl. "Cousin Bertha won this on The Price is Right. Did you know it's an original Versace? This thing could be worth over 5k! I feel like I'm wearing Cousin Marsha's entire college tuition on my back."

The pop star reached out to touch the sleeve. She would die to have one of these in her possession. "I absolutely adore it," Sabrina said gleefully. "How much is it? I'll pay for it right now!" She started to reach into her small handbag for money.

When Sabrina asked her that question, Fran's smile fell from her face. "Uh, honey, this is my coat I got from family. You wanna find a coat for sale? Go to Loehmann's. They just had a 75% off special that kicked off today," Fran suggested as she watched Sabrina fiddle for money. The young girl then pulled out a wad of cash waving it in front of Fran. It made her get slightly annoyed with her intentions. "Sab, this coat is not for sale."

"It is now," Sabrina glared at her putting away the money seeing that Fran walked away from her tying the rope around her waist. "You know what? Nanny Fine, I have an idea. Why don't we play a little game?"

Fran stopped her tracks and turned around to face Sabrina, who had an evil smirk on her face. "Oh honey, I'm tired from kicking everyone's tuchases. All that dealing makes me want to get out and let loose."

"Oh come on, it'll be fun! I promise it'll only be just one game, and then you can go have fun with your friend, Val," Sabrina encouraged her by nudging her playfully. She would do anything to get that stupid nanny to stay to have that coat to herself.

After a moment of thinking, Fran sighed and took off the coat holding it close to her. "Alright, fine. We'll play one game of poker," she said as she and Sabrina started to walk towards the coffee table. The kids had joined in the living room about a minute later knowing that Fran was going to be playing against Sabrina.

"Alright, here's how the game will work: if you win after four rounds, you get to keep the coat and I don't get anything in return. But... if I win after four rounds, I get to have that coat for myself," Sabrina said eyeing the coat that Fran was still holding. The nanny clutched it tightly to her chest and stared her down.

"You're on!" Fran exclaimed as she looked over at the kids. "Are you guys gonna watch me kick Sabrina's tuchas or what?" They immediately rushed over to Fran's side leaving Sabrina alone on the other side.

"Deal me in, Nanny Fine. This is gonna be good.." Sabrina chuckled evilly as she rubbed her palms together like she was devising an evil plan. The two immediately started to play poker. Seeing that the coat was piled in the middle of the table made Sabrina concentrate even more. Fran and Sabrina kept throwing in cash and change into the middle as they continued to play the game. Four rounds in and they were ready to fold. Sabrina was quite calm and Fran was excited. After they dealt the last cards, Sabrina looked up at Fran and asked, "So.. what's your move from here? Draw or fold?"

Fran confidently replied, "I'll fold!" She set her hand down, revealing another straight flush. "I keep flushing straights here! Well.. that's probably because I'm straight and I'm from Flushing." Fran pondered her thoughts and then shrugged before she looked over at Sabrina who was holding her own cards close together. "What do you wanna do, Sabrina the Teenage Witch?"

Sabrina's eyes widened at Fran's straight flush. She had to admit, she was quite impressed with the nanny's poker skills. "Oh. Wow, Nanny Fine. That is an amazing hand," she replied as she stared down at the cards. "I - I'm not sure if anything would be able to beat that. But... the fact of the matter is..." Sabrina slowly flipped her hand of cards over and Fran's jaw dropped. The kids behind her were also quite shocked at Sabrina's winning hand. "...this hand can. A royal flush." She gathered all of the cash and change to her side. "Looks like you owe me an original Versace." The teenager winked and held out her arms. Fran grimaced and picked up the coat tossing it to Sabrina who caught it excitedly.

"I can't believe you won," Fran pouted and looked over at the kids who were just as shocked as she was.

"Learn to love the game, baby. There's always a new challenger who takes the belt at the end," Sabrina said as she smoothed out the coat that she just won.

"I need that coat back! It's important for me to keep it," Fran pleaded. Niles had walked in at this point in time and his own eyes widened seeing Sabrina handle the coat. "How am I gonna brag to Ma?"

"Well.. we can play another game and you can try to win it back.. if I lose that is." Sabrina then began to shuffle the cards in her hands.

"Fine! You're on!" Fran said putting her hands on her hips competitively.

"This time.. let's bet that Reba ticket. If I win again, Niles gets to have it back." Sabrina said as she continued to shuffle.

Seeing that Sabrina was going to bet on his ticket back, Niles rushed to her side and shouted. "Do it, you little wench! Beat her large haired tuchas!" Sabrina looked over at the nasal nanny and smirked while shuffling the cards. She knew this was going to be a fun few rounds of poker, seeing as Nanny Fine had finally met her match.

"This coat is exquisite! I knew it would look good on me the minute I laid eyes on it," Sabrina chimed as she looked at herself in front of the mirror trying it on. After ten more rounds of poker with Fran, she claimed herself as the new undefeated champion. Niles got his ticket back, Maggie got her sweater back, Brighton got his baseball card collection back, and Grace got her night light back. It also meant that Fran had to give up two other personal items as well. "I think it compliments me really well, don't you think so, Nanny Fine?" she asked. Sabrina moved her hair behind her ears revealing a pair of diamond earrings she also won from Fran. She adjusted her hair so the jewelry could stand out. A bright ring glistened in the light on her right hand, which was also something Sabrina won from Fran. She rubbed the ring against the coat slowly and continued to admire herself in the mirror.

Just then, Maggie, Brighton, and Grace all approached Sabrina gleefully holding their possessions that they had lost from Fran at the beginning of the game. "Hey Sabrina. Thank you so much for getting our stuff back. You should totally come to more family game nights here," Maggie beamed holding her sweater close to her chest.

"We never thought we'd get everything back. I thought I wasn't going to be able to sleep at night," Grace spoke up.

"I knew you would," Sabrina said with a chuckle. "The minute Niles got his ticket back, it was over for her."

Right when Sabrina spoke up, Niles came out of the kitchen with a tray full of some of Sabrina's favorite snacks. He didn't forget the request CC made for her daughter, but he had to double it due to Sabrina getting his Reba ticket back in his possession. "Where's the undefeated champion? I made some of your favorites."

"Well if you all will excuse me, the butler calls," Sabrina said to the kids. She gave Maggie and Grace a hug eagerly, however, when Brighton went up to hug her, Sabrina put her hand on his chest and backed him away. "Not today."

"You know... next time you're over for game night, we can play poker again.. instead of the normal game, we can s-" Brighton tried to say what his intentions were, but Sabrina quickly interrupted him,

"In your dreams, shrimp. Get out of my sight," Sabrina spat coldly watching Brighton walk up the stairs following his two sisters. Sabrina then walked over to Niles and took a double chocolate brownie that he baked for her. "Wow, Niles. You really outdid yourself. All of this for me?" she chimed taking a bite of her brownie.

"It's a token of my appreciation for you claiming back Reba," Niles said to her as he politely tried to offer more snacks for her.

Fran stood up and walked over to Niles. "Ya know, Niles, I was thinking about getting you one of those Reba ties if I were to go to the concert, but I guess that's not happening now, is it?" she jealously spat at him.

"Miss Fine, please. How many of Barbra Streisand's concerts have you missed? Surely you cannot be disappointed you're missing another concert.. one you didn't pay for may I add." With that, Fran huffed and walked away from the scene heading upstairs. That zinger immediately made him smirk to himself. Looking over at Sabrina, he said, "You know, you're really not as bad as Miss Babcock. You really are a good little witch."

Sabrina thought about that nickname again. It had a nice ring to it now that she thought about it. She smiled to herself and ate the rest of her brownie. "You think I can take these home later?" she asked him.

"As long as you don't let the Wicked Witch of the West pry her hands on them, then I'll grant your request."

"I'll try my best." Sabrina watched as Niles exited the room back to the kitchen so he could pack up the rest of the treats for her. She beamed looking at herself in the mirror again. Her aim was to be as gorgeous as her mother was, and she was surely succeeding. She giggled to herself as she spun around in the coat again just like Fran did earlier.

As she was admiring her looks, CC walked back into the living room, preparing herself to leave for the day. Her eyes immediately were attentive to her daughter, who was fixing up her hair. She smiled widely and walked over to Sabrina who hadn't noticed she walked in the room. She made her way to where Sabrina was standing and placed her hands on the girl's shoulders. "Hey, you. What are you doing?" she asked her daughter.

Sabrina smiled back at her mother and smoothed out her new coat. "Oh nothing," she shrugged and looked at her coat again beaming that she actually snatched it away. "Just checking out my new wardrobe that Nanny Fine so graciously gave to me. It's an original Versace!"

CC narrowed her eyes and smirked wanting to know how Sabrina managed to get that coat for herself. "Sabrina, did you bribe Nanny Fine for that coat?"

"What? No way," Sabrina laughed and looked over at her mother beaming. "I kicked her ass in poker! Fifteen times! And I won these too!" Sabrina moved her hair behind her ears again showing her mother the earrings. "Can you believe she was stupid enough to bet these when she was playing me? What a loser!" She laughed again to herself still feeling giddy that she managed to tear Nanny Fine's dignity to bits and pieces. "You thought these were still Nanny Fine's. Not anymore!"

"Sabrina!" CC shouted making the girl stop her tracks. She immediately turned to face her mother nervous as to what she was going to say to her. Sabrina fidgeted her fingers anxiously awaiting her mother's response. "I am... so proud of you!" Sabrina sighed contently and beamed immediately, happy that she could make her mother proud. It was something she longed for. CC brought her arm around Sabrina and added, "This just goes to show that you learned your lesson. Let's go home. I got something else I want to show you."

"Okay!" the teenager said as she walked over to the front door. "Wait! I forgot something!" Sabrina immediately rushed from the front door into the hallway all the way to the kitchen. Niles was gracious enough to pack the treats he made her in a brown bag for her to take home. Not a minute later, Sabrina rushed back to CC holding the bag in her hand. "Now I'm ready." The mother and daughter walked out the door wrapping their arms around each other's backs heading back to the penthouse. CC was excited to show Sabrina the project she had put together. Of course, she asked Angelica to do most of the physical work, but CC was the one who designed the project herself. At this rate, she'd do anything to keep Sabrina happy and in New York where she belongs.

Ten minutes later, both Babcock women were home. Sabrina was really looking forward to coming back home with her mother. It was finally time to actually act naturally without having to watch her words and actions. The fact that she had to hide her true identity was hard for her. She couldn't imagine continuing this façade for longer than a month, and it looked as if that was going to happen, seeing as CC hadn't found her confidence in telling anyone but her daughter. As they walked through the front door, Sabrina took off her coat and hung it up in the closet. "Ugh. Finally. One more agonizing minute of being out of the penthouse was about to kill me," she said exasperatedly as she set the rest of her belongings down.

"You better not die on me. The show's opening in a couple of months, and I'll be damned if I have to go find another Maria," CC huffed as she too took off her own coat and hung it up right beside Sabrina's. She was quite oblivious as to what Sabrina meant by being out of the house. All of the work she had done for the production clouded her memory.

Sabrina furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "I'm not going to leave the show," she started out. "It's just been a long day being out of here, that's all." Sabrina sighed and walked towards CC, standing in front of her. "I've just been waiting all day to be myself... to do this." With that, she wrapped her arms tightly around her mother, practically clinging to her.

"Oh!" CC cried out and laughed realizing what her daughter was doing. Seeing that the poor girl had been waiting all day to give her love and affection, CC's heart broke. She gladly returned her embrace and held her tightly for a little while. The both closed their eyes just basking in the moment that they could finally have. CC realized how hard this was for her baby, and she wished that she didn't have to put Sabrina through this. Maybe she would allow her to tell her agent later, but that thought went to the back burner. She wanted to be a mother now that she was home. For once, she finally felt like.. herself. "I'm sorry, baby," she said to her gazing down at her. "I know this is hard for you."

"I just.. missed you, Mom. Acting like this.. like we did when we didn't know we were related... it's breaking me. I don't know if I can keep doing this." Sabrina kept her arms wrapped around CC, desperately not wanting to let her go.

"I know, sweetheart. I missed you too," CC replied sadly. They looked back at each other, and the older woman moved a strand of hair away from the girl's face so she could see both of her eyes. "Don't worry. I have the weekend off, and we can be ourselves for as long as we want to," she reassured Sabrina. "How about this? We can order takeout from your favorite restaurant, we can have our own little spa day at home, and you can show me some of those songs of yours that you've written. I'll let you do whatever you want throughout this whole weekend. No secrets, no lies, nothing.. as long as we don't leave this vicinity."

As long as we don't leave this vicinity. Meaning that they were allowed to be themselves as long they were not out in public. In all of her honesty, Sabrina was not up to going out for the rest of the weekend. She was someone who has wished for her mother to come along in her life and finally got that chance, so she was definitely selfish in giving up her mother to the public. However, this entire situation didn't feel natural to her. Of course, CC had her reasons to not expose her daughter to the public and Sabrina respected them. In order to keep her mother happy, she decided to just roll along with the façade, even though it was killing her inside. With a sigh, Sabrina nodded her head. "We can do that," she agreed to her mother's plan. "This weekend better be worthwhile."

CC sighed in relief hearing her daughter agree with her plan. Since the next day was Saturday, she figured her daughter would have something to look forward to. "I can promise you that it will be. You won't get bored of me too easy," CC replied tapping the girl's nose with her manicured finger, which caused Sabrina to beam at her mother. "By the way, your costumes for the show came in. You might want to check the guest room."

"They did?" Sabrina asked surprised at that fact. The cast costumes weren't supposed to be ready until a month before opening night, but it seemed as if CC found a way to get her daughter's costumes prioritized before the rest of the cast. Of course, Sabrina's own mother was one of the main producers, so her requests could easily be fulfilled in a matter of minutes. Since her curiosity was getting the better of her, she decided to head towards the guest room. "I thought they weren't going to be ready for a couple more weeks."

"Sweetie, that deadline was only for the remainder of the cast. You're my daughter. I can prioritize you before anybody anytime I want," CC said standing by the guest room door where Sabrina was. "The designers insisted Dominic's costumes were to be ready before yours, but I uh... I taught them a lesson or two."

"Did you guilt trip them?" Sabrina asked raising an eyebrow and crossing her arms.

"With every chance I got." Sabrina nudged her mother as they both laughed at the outcome for her costumes. "Now go inside the room. I want you to see them!" CC was anxious, but excited about this moment. The entire day while they were out, she had Angelica and a couple of other interior designers rearrange the guest room to make it solely for Sabrina. She requested for the room and closet to be larger, a vanity, a small music studio in the corner, and a bed set just like hers. Once she got the call from Angelica, she was ecstatic. It would be one step closer to convincing her daughter to stay in New York.

Seeing that her mother was so insistent on her walking to the guest room, Sabrina complied with her request and opened the door. Once she turned on the light, her eyes immediately lit up and she gasped at how the room had changed to her own liking. The thought of seeing her costumes for the show was put on the back burner quickly as she stepped into the newly designed bedroom. "Oh my god!" she squealed excitedly. She darted inside and checked out all of the newly designed furniture and decor. CC smiled softly seeing her daughter's excitement; it was too contagious. "W-When did this happen? How did you-"

"I had a team come by and redesign this room. Since you happened to tell me what your home was like in Los Angeles, I decided to give it that California flair that you're used to," CC replied continuing to beam at Sabrina's reaction. Even though she didn't do handy work, everything turned out the way it planned for her daughter.

Sabrina then stopped her tracks and turned around to face her mother. "This is really nice! But what would your other guests think about this room? I don't think they'd be too fond of the purple paint and the very feminine vanity over here," Sabrina said as she sat at the vanity checking on her hair.

CC laughed and walked over to Sabrina. "Don't worry about the guests. If I ever do have any more, they won't be staying in this room. They could take the couch and the living room floor for all I care." The young girl's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. What did she mean that the guests won't stay in the guest room? "Sabrina, this is no longer the guest room.." CC tried to hint at her daughter.

After a moment to think, Sabrina finally had the sudden realization. "This is my room!?"

CC stammered, "I - I hope you don't mind. It was the least I could d- OOF!" Sabrina had walked up from the vanity to hug her mother again tightly which caught CC off guard. It took her a moment to regain her focus and hold Sabrina seeing as she was very appreciative.

"I love it so much! Thank you!" Sabrina graciously thanked her mother while still hugging her. She then let go of her and looked around. "You know, I'm really amazed by how this was made so quickly for me. Maybe.. maybe I should just stay here after the show is over. What do you think, Mom?"

"Oh honey, don't you think Bernie should know about this? I'm sure she'd be worried sick if you don't arrive back on schedule," CC replied, knowing she just won her daughter over. There was absolutely no way she was going to let her baby go ever again.

"Well.. yeah she should," Sabrina muttered to herself, her demeanor changing quickly. "But... I thought you said nobody else could know that you're my mother?"

CC thought about her intentions. Maybe she did need Sabrina to inform her agent. It's not like she was going to tell anybody else at her own expense. She decided to give her daughter the benefit of the doubt since Sabrina trusted Bernie for everything in her life. "I'm going to make an exception for her," CC said after thinking about the possible future outcomes. "Since it seems as if you won't be able to stay here without informing her, she deserves to know that I'm a part of your life now."

Sabrina sighed in relief knowing she could finally break the good news to somebody. It was already killing her to keep a secret, so she was definitely relieved knowing that she could tell Bernie. "Oh thank you," Sabrina said clutching her hand on her chest.

"There is a catch to this though," CC pointed out quite sternly. "You better advise her to not tell anybody about this. You know how agents are.. they are so quick to break the latest news to any radio or television host that's dying to get their stars on their show. If you really and truly trust her enough for this, make sure she's not saying she'll keep the secret for granted. I haven't met this woman yet, so I won't trust her until I meet her."

The girl nodded her head and bit her lip nervously. She was hoping Bernie would later understand the reasoning, but all Sabrina wanted to do was to make her mother feel happy and safe with her. "I promise you everything will be safe with me," Sabrina reassured her mother and kissed her cheek to calm her nerves down.

CC sighed and then said, "Good, because when you tell her, put the phone on speaker so I can hear everything."

Sabrina's eyes widened seeing that even though she promised that she'd be true to her word. However, when she glanced at her mother, CC just smirked knowing what her intentions were. All she wanted to do was listen in on the conversation.. it was safe to say Niles had rubbed off on her. "God, you're such a yenta," Sabrina huffed and walked away from her room.

"Love you too!" CC called out before following her out of her room. She couldn't believe what she just got herself into. There were always consequences to the woman's actions, and she knew that most of those tended to backfire on her. From the actions and maneuvers she tried to make on Maxwell and other life events, the consequences always related to her receiving the unlucky results. She'd be damned to see her daughter go through the same thing. Deep down, she hoped that the Babcock bad luck wasn't hereditary and didn't pass onto Sabrina. Her main intention was to protect her baby at this point, and she'd do just about anything to accomplish that.
