Courtney was done with the Total Drama series, or she thought she was. She did not want to go back to that show, to that person; but when she has no choice but to go back for one final season in order to get the future she has worked so hard for, she will take it. Now she just had to figure out how to win.

12. Rewind Reimagined

Hello everyone!

I wanted to post on this story to say thank you to everyone for the encouraging comments and support. I wrote this when I was quite a bit younger than I am now, and, while I am not in love with my writing then, I am very proud of myself for finishing this series. Lately, I've had a strong desire to write, but I am struggling with motivation in my life. If you've read any of my fanfics, you can tell that I strongly align myself with Courtney's attitude.

All of that being said: I've decided to rewrite Total Drama Rewind! No, this series will not follow the exact plot of the original story. No, I will not be removing the original story. What you can expect is a revised cast, multiple settings, TWENTY CHALLENGES, and more! Like most, if not all, of my fanfics, this story will be Courtney-focused. Expect her to interact and bond with characters you wouldn't expect and would expect. It will be more introspective and mental-health-focused; I hope that the struggles I touch on remind us all that we are not alone. This fanfic will, of course, not be perfect as I will always have room to grow with my writing, but I'm hoping that you and I can both see how my writing has evolved since 2016-2018.

At the moment, I have chapter one almost done and the next three chapters outlined. I have a lovely beta reader ready to help make this story even better. I hope that you all will be as excited about this fanfiction as I am. If you are already excited, please favorite my profile so you can be the first to know when I publish the beginning of this fic. Expect the first chapter Sunday, July 18, 2021. (Yes, can you believe I'm setting a deadline? This is risky business.) I will also be making my "Ao3 debut" with this-please don't think too much about me calling it that-so I will be including that information as well if you'd like to support this story on multiple platforms.
