Finding Cyril
Alanna's point of view
As we flew in the air we heard the voice of Ignitus in our heads.
"Tall Plains was once home to a proud ancient tribe called the Atlawa." He explained.
"Oh bless you!" Sparx said.
"Sparx." We said.
"The Atlawa were people in tune with the rhythms of the seasons, focused on their relationship to crops, their surroundings, their gods." He explained. "They all have been driven underground by Cynder and her forces, who've taken over the tribe's shrine. I sense that's where Cynder is keeping Cyril, trying to power another crystal. You must find him before she succeeds."
We finally landed onto the ground then I opened a portal for Dan and Topanga.
"Ok, we're here." I said.
They've entered through and the portal closed behind them.
"Right, it's never easy is it?" Sparx said.
"Nothing worthwhile ever is." Spyro replied to him.
"So now you're spouting wisdom, hero boy?" Sparx joked.
"Come on..." Spyro said walking forward.
"Floating islands, this place is pretty old, just like an ancient tribe back on earth." Said Topanga.
"I trust Alanna to carry me throughout the floating islands." Said Dan.
"Sweet." I said while grabbing his hands.
We flew towards the bigger island, landed onto the ground and travel through it while clearing away enemies. Topanga and Dan shifted towards the outer part of an entrance as we got close as well. We saw a dreadwing grabbing a cage with an Atlawa in it, which the other was left alone until another one will come in after.
"The enemy of our enemy is our friend." Spyro said.
"Does that mean what I think it does?" Sparx asked.
"Well let's save the other guy then before he gets carried away as well." I said.
"This is why you're our favorite niece." Dan said as he got a ball of wind ready.
"Oh brother..." Sparx said.
I threw my pocket knife straight at an ape's head and fell backwards. I also threw a smoke bomb too to prevent them from seeing us. We attacked the others as Spyro came through the other side and rammed his head into an ape which force it to be thrown to the cage where the other Atlawa was at.
"Watch it, would ya? the Atlawa demanded after the smoke cleared and we cam towards them.
"We're just trying to help." Spyro replied.
"Well, the Atlawa and Kane need no help." Kane said.
"You're very lucky that we saved you before you were taken away." I said as Dan handed me my pocket knife.
"Oh just about to spring into action huh?" Spyro added.
"Forget this guy, guys, come on." Sparx said.
"You're the one with no guts to be brave, Sparx." I said giving him a death glare.
"What did they want with you anyways?" Spyro asked.
"It's none of your business. Now move, I've got a tribe to save." He said as he walked passed us.
"I'm gonna tell this to Terrance that this Kane guy, is not in the brightest of moods." I said after calming down.
"Oh you're welcome!" Sparx called out.
"Idiot," I mumbled. "this should've saved us a lot of time if he tells us where Cyril is."
We continued on and we've seen a dreadwing flying towards us and landed, Dan and Topanga had their turn fighting it. After that we continued on to where it looks like an area where they grow their crops.
"We're gonna have to use the water wheels to move ahead." Spyro said.
"To make this easier two of us has to keep one safe while the other turns the wheel." I said. "I'll stay with Spyro, you two will to be together as well."
"Oh it's never easy." Sparx complained.
We split up and started to take down enemies that are stationed there and took them out, we also used the levers to move ahead, the same with the next two areas until we came to a cliff where Kane was on the left of us. There are three newer enemies who were giving Kane a hard time and fell into the flow of the waterfall as we shouted his name to watch out.
"Oh shittake mushrooms." Topanga said.
"Yeah, I know this guy is an ingrate but you guys gotta do something, and fast." Sparx said quickly.
Spyro then breathed out ice while I shot out sparks of electricity out of my hands, which aimed for those golem, which thankfully saved Kane.
"Guys, you're getting weirder, and weirder by the second." Sparx said as we nodded.
Once we passed through we found Kane who was facing some apes, we came to him to gain his attention.
"You guys again?" He asked. "Why don't you all leave and leave me in peace, I'm the boss here... nobody else."
"Boss of what?" Sparx asked as Topanga covered his mouth with her hand.
"Shhh," I shushed him.
"You're all alone?" Spyro asked.
"Only until I kick these bums out," He answered with determination. "Which reminds me, I can't stand here chatting with purple dragons, a couple of skinless apes old apes, a skinless winged ape freak, and mosquitoes."
"We're not that old." Dan yelled.
"That's offensive Kane!" I shouted.
"Hey, whoa, whoa, who are you calling a mosquito?" Sparx asked.
"Besides, its not safe for any of you here." Kane told us as he ignored Sparx's question.
"Oh concerned about our welfare now?" Sparx asked.
"No need, we're old enough to take care of ourselves." I told Kane.
"Anyways, we need to get to the shrine." Spyro added.
"You'll never make it." Kane finished before smacking an ape to the side.
We fought our way through and caught up to him again, who stood close to a doorway.
"The Shrine god has not been appeased since Cynder's forces came... he is not happy." Kane explained then headed towards the door.
"So is anyone fun around here?" Sparx asked.
"You guys can't possibly face the god of the shrine alone." Kane continued.
He knocked on the door three times and it opened, we walked up to him as well.
"Not all of us are loners, Kane." Spyro said as he followed from behind with Sparx.
"We're not going alone." I told him, leaving Topanga and Dan nodding in agreement.
"Maybe someday you'll learn that four heads are better than one," Spyro told him.
"Even if they are a pain in the rear end." I finished which I left with a smirk.
"Yeah... what? Sparx asked.
After that we moved ahead and fought more waves of enemies, we took sections of each island down until we made it to a clearing where Kane was, also a bridge was there as well.
"I have to admit, you guys done better than I thought possible." Kane finally admitted.
"Aww, saying that had to hurt." Sparx said.
"More than you can imagine." Kane replied. "There are some things you should know about the shrine before you enter."
He stopped as we saw a shadow of Cynder who is carrying something blue, we were a bit too late, but we need to get Cyril still.
"And I think we're done here." Sparx said.
"Not before we save Cyril." Dan told him.
"The Atlawa shrine has been desecrated, and the god of the shrine has not been given tribute since Cynder's forces arrived. But if you can subdue his anger, the balance will be returned... and my people can come home." Kane explained.
"That's fine, but we came to save Cyril." I told him.
"You mus go through him to save Cyril." Kane told us.
"Knew you were gonna say that." Sparx said.
We crossed the bridge quickly, once we got to the end, the bridge blew up, so we're stuck here until we save Cyril.
