Facing a king and Cynder

Dan's point of view

We made it towards a tower and fought through waves of enemies, which wasn't hard considering us facing them all this time. Going through different rooms, checking to see where Cynder kept them, until we found a doorway to where she could have them. But we were stopped by a huge guard, who is similar to the ice king, but different.

"Oh great..." Alanna said sarcastically. "Another king that we can face..."

"Kane, you might want to use those darts for this one." Topanga told Kane.

We took turns by using our power and Kane using darts to face him, but he was harder than it looks because we can't see where he was. But we let Alanna take care of the rest and he fell forward and let his sword clash onto the ground.

"Why was he seem so easy, yet so hard to beat?" Griph asked.

"Just wait until you see Cynder." Kane answered.

"She might be harder to beat then." Alanna guessed. "One giant dragon versing a small army of six, then we wouldn't have a chance."

We went into the room and the platform rose up, Alanna fell backwards but then stood up again.

"No one saw that and don't tell anyone that happened, because I never went on an elevator before." Alanna told us.

"Note it." Griph replied.

We finally made it to the top of the tower as lightning flashed and the thunder roared, the platform stopped and we saw Tiwong chained up and Ignitus hung on a pillar with his power draining away.

"Kane, you should step back on this one, you don't have any magic, but we do appreciate your help." I told the Atlawa.

He nodded and he was the first to reach Tiwong, who her mouth was clamped shut, her wings bonded down, and her neck shackled down to a base.

"Just be careful you guys, because this wouldn't be too easy." Kane told us.

"Yeah, no s*** Sherlock." I replied.

"Did you just made a refere-?" Griph asked.

"Don't ask questions." Topanga answered.

"Kane, try to get that muzzle off of her mouth." Alanna told Kane.

The rest of us made our way towards Ignitus as he looked at us with fear and despair, we need to figure out how to get him out of there.

"Guys, if I could do the same thing that I did last time, then I could get that crystal out." Alanna told us.

"What?" Topanga asked. "You want to pull it out?"

"We could try that way." Griph answered.

Alanna made her way towards Ignitus before Cynder came in and swipe her away, the force nearly had her flying off the tower, but she gripped her hands into the floor trying to hold on.

"HELP!" Alanna yelled.

Tiwong signaled Kane to help her, but before he got there, her fingers slipped and accidentally let go, while she screamed, her sound echoed.

Alanna's point of view

So this is how I die? Me falling off the tower and into the roof?! I wasn't going to let that happen, so I used my robotic hand and aimed it to a post. The arrow hooked itself through the post as a rope was left out, so I grabbed it and flung myself in the air and used my wings to get back to the top.

Spyro's point of view

Why did Cynder do that?! We lost Alanna because she fell, but we're not going to let that happen, so we'll avenge her. Then we heard sounds of wings flapping and we looked to see that Alanna came back up, without a scratch or anything. Kane was able to get the muzzle off of Tiwong's mouth and she looked in shock of what happened.

"I'm back b*****!" She said.

"Thank goodness that she's alive." Tiwong said.

Alanna landed back on the floor and folded her wings back.

"The hybrid lives!" Cynder said.

"You won't stop us because we have make sure that the locations where Volteer, Cyril, and Terrador were won't be enslaved. And this time, we won't let you or your master rein terror anymore..." Alanna told Cynder.

"Run!" Ignitus yelled. "Save yourselves!"

"You guys helped us all this time, Ignitus!" Alanna replied. "Now it's time for us to fight back, if you don't want the worst to happen! We'll stop them before they could continue on what is going on! This time, we fight!"

"Ha, ha, ha, ha! Bring it!" Cynder said as she readies herself.

The battle has started and we make sure that she doesn't swipe us away or anything, we used what we could until the crystal is charged up. She laughed as we knew that we're running out of time.

"It's so sad that it must end this way..." Cynder said.

I flew down and she smacked me out of the way, I crashed to the ground.

"Now... where was I?" She asked herself.

She launched herself forward towards the crystal and pulled it out without a problem and Ignitus fell to the ground.

"NO!" Alanna yelled as Cynder flew out of the ceiling.

"Does she ever use doors?" Sparx asked.

"There's no doors stupid." Griph answered. "I think I pulled my arm, I think I'm done for now."

"Are you all okay?" Tiwong asked us.

"We're okay." I answered.

Ignitus stood back up limped towards us.

"There was something in her eyes, Ignitus... something familiar." I told him.

"There should be, Spyro, you and Cynder share more than you know." Ignitus replied. "It's time that I told you the truth... all of it... when your mother had you, she knew that you'd be in danger, so I agreed to keep you safe. But when the night of the raid occurred I took your egg safely to the silver river. After I returned to the grotto to find utter chaos. The other guardians have been overrun, and all of the eggs have been smashed by the Dark Master's forces... all except one. You see, the Dark Master was torn, he wanted to destroy all the eggs to prevent the birth of the purple dragon... but he also needed a dragon."

"Why would he need a dragon?" Topanga asked.

"Because all of you, only one born in the year of the dragon could open the portal that served as the Dark Master's prison." Ignitus answered.

"Cynder?" Alanna asked.

"I'm afraid so..." Ignitus answered.

"And what about me?" Alanna asked.

"Yours was a different story, a story only your memory can tell." Ignitus answered.

"But why did me and Cynder came from the same place?" I asked another question. "Why was she so, so?"

"Evil? Monstrous? Big? Sexy?" Sparx asked then the last one slipped up. "Whoops did I say that?"

"Because, after the night of the raid, she was corrupted by the Dark Master's poisonous powers, twisted by his evil lore, she's become the Dark Master's monster." Ignitus explained.

"But why? What does this Dark Master want?" I asked another question.

"He wants to be freed from the portal of Convexity, to wreak havoc across the realms." He answered. "And if Cynder gets there, he just might succeed."

A flash came and we looked to see the portal is opened.

"I'm afraid, we might be too late." Ignitus said.

"No, we refused to give up, we're going to stop Cynder and the Dark Master, now!" I yelled.

"You heard what he said." Sparx told us. "We're done, he said we're too late, we'll get em next time, take five."

"THERE WON'T BE A NEXT TIME!" Alanna yelled. "This time, it's now, we're not running away this time!"

"Are you sure?" Topanga asked.

"I'm sure." Alanna as she grabbed her aunt's hands. "You and Uncle Dan have done so much for me, if we don't make it back, then tell Samantha and the others that they're always, a huge pain in my rear end, because they tortured me everyday. You two should stay with them until we return."

"You both are right." Ignitus told us. "At the very least you both try, if the Dark Master escapes, a shadow will fall over the land, and who knows what will happen then..."

Me and Alanna took off into the portal but before we went in we heard the words that Ignitus and Tiwong said.

"May the Ancestors look after you, may they look after us all." Ignitus said.

"Long live the Hybrid." Tiwong added.
