A/n this is the ending of the Legend of Spyro: Long live the hybrid
The end... for now...
Darkri's point of view
I woke up to see two dragons laying next to me, one of them was Cynder and the other was a blue dragon, much like Sendor's color but lighter, she groaned out in pain and shifted back to normal, to a teenager. I looked to see if there was something familiar about her, and there it was, a purple marking with a crown on it, I knew it was my niece, the third dragon of legend, the lost heir of Hybridnia, Alanna. I had to get them back to the others and tell them that I've found them, so I carried both of them to where I found an easy position of taking my first flight that I haven't had in years. And I hope that my mate, Ignitor Draco, our daughters, and our only son is alright, which that would be their answer. I flew for quite some time until I finally found the balcony where Ignitus was standing with Samuri and Terrance, and also another dragon who I recognized, it was Ignitor.
"Everyone!" I yelled.
They looked up to see me carrying Alanna and Cynder, Samuri ran back inside while yelling that we're back. I landed after placing Alanna down on the ground first, an older woman ran to her while she cried.
"Am I not dead?" Alanna rasped out. "Am I in hell?"
"You're not, you're alive." She answered.
We brought them inside and Samuri started to treat Cynder while the older woman started to treat Alanna from their wounds. Ignitor walked over to me and hugged me, I was so glad that he lived after so many years.
"Is our son around?" I asked him.
"He is, but he's resting right now." He answered.
"Did you tell him?" I asked another question.
"I did." he answered. "He was shocked that you were his mother, but knowing that he'll get used to it."
"I know that he'll want to meet me once he wakes up, but I'll be waiting for him until then." I told him.
I went into the other room where my sister is watching him, she looked at me and walked over to hugged me.
"Thank Adriana that you're alive." She whispered.
"I'm glad that you survived as well." I whispered back. "I'll take watch of our son until he wakes up."
"Alright, I'll check how things are going with Alanna and Cynder." She replied.
"Hey aunt Darkri." Griph whispered.
"I see that you've never really changed since Splendora told you." I whispered back.
"I had to pretend to be the evil one, because of my mother." He replied. "Look who's waking up, hey Spyro."
"Who named him Spyro?" I asked.
"A dragonfly couple named Nina and Flash, they adopted cousin Spyro to be their second son." Griph answered.
"They named him wisely." I replied. "I'll thank them for taking care of him while we were at war."
"Who are you?" Spyro asked. "Because Ignitor told me that a dark dragon was my mother, and her name is Darkri. Are you her?"
"I am her." I answered. "It was hard keeping you and your sisters hidden."
"Sisters?" He asked.
"Three of them, Crystal, Vivien, and Heather." I answered. "A Crystal, fire, and dark. It's pretty rare for couples to have a child that doesn't have either element, apart from the purple dragon, Crystal dragons are rare in our world."
"Is Alanna okay?" He asked. "And Cynder?"
"They're both going to be okay, don't worry, they're handling this well." I answered. "But who was that woman who ran towards Alanna?"
"That was her aunt from her adoptive family, Topanga Cams." He answered.
A door opened and we saw Cynder walking out and walked towards us.
"Are you feeling better?" I asked her.
She nodded and sat down once she got to us.
"I'm sorry for what I've done, if the world saw me, that I would put all of you at risk." She told us.
"It's not your fault." I told her. "I was some what like you at first, I was told that I could never be a guardian of Hybridnia, being one of the nine. But I proved them wrong because dark dragons posed to be evil, but not all things are what they're seemed."
"Where did you learn that from?" Spyro asked.
"From Ignitus, this occurred when they helped us to get where we are, some of the other guardians were afraid of me, but others weren't." I answered.
"So everyone thought you were evil?" Spyro asked.
"Yes." I answered. "Blame my father for that."
The door opened that showed that Alanna woke up, she looked bruised and tired, she walked with her aunt and she help Alanna sit down.
"It might take time for me to recover." Alanna said. "I don't want to go back there yet."
"Yeah, that battle drained every last bit of our strength, I could barely move my head." Spyro added.
"It will take time for your powers to return," Ignitus said. "They will in time. Cynder, ever since I failed the night of the raid, I've dreamt of this day."
"It wasn't just you, Ignitus." Volteer replied. "We all failed."
This lead with Cyril and Terrador nodding.
"Be as it may." Ignitus told us. "But we're back together now, thanks to you five."
"Yes," Kane said. "Me and my tribe are forever in need for your aid."
"But what happened to the Dark Master?" Alanna asked. "I saw him when I got Cynder and Darkri."
"The talk about the Dark Master will be later," Terrador said.
"For now we shall be greatful your success." Light Beam added.
"Their success?" Sparx asked.
Alanna opened her spell book.
"Accue zarta." She said.
Then all of a sudden Sparx's mouth is shut.
"You helped us too Sparx." Alanna said.
Darkri laughed.
"Just because we lost our powers that doesn't mean that I lost my ability to use spells." She added.
"I agree, for the record. A lot of weird things does come out of that little mouth of yours." Spyro replied.
Later that night I took an hour or two for looking at the stars, to see if anything happened, I heard Spyro, Alanna, and Cynder walked up towards the balcony as well.
"See anything Darkri?" Alanna asked.
"Nothing yet." I answered.
"I have a bad feeling." Spyro added.
"Me too." Cynder replied.
We looked at the sky and Spyro was right, something big is coming...
But we're ready for it...
