It was as if Hell rose up, the grey futuristic city shrouded in endless night now crumbled into a sea of fire that was swallowing all in its wake. Above the city on a balcony on the castle clocked figures watched the devastation.
"Orders boss?" said an eye patched clad man known as Xigbar
"Show them it was unwise decision to assault us" came the calm response from there silver haired leader Xemnas
A cocky grin came across the sharpshooter's face, as the remaining figures jumped off the ledge to the city bellow "Why didn't we just teleport down!?" came a whiny voice from a young man with a stupid haircut
"Shut it Demyx" came a gruff voice from a long-haired man wielding six lances " You're the water specialist"
"Easy for you to say Xaldin when you can actually fly!" the bard replied
"How about a wager" said an amused voice from an older shorthaired man, giant playing cards appearing at his side "Let's see whoever can kill the most demons"
Approaching the ground Saix held this massive claymore over his head while letting out a howl, a s massive cloud of dust explodes as the group hit the ground punching a hole in the fire. As the dust clears the members of Organization XIII stood with their weapons ready, out of the flames came demonic being snarling at their pray.
"For Surtur!" came the defining roars as the monsters charged forward, many were cut down in an instant. Each member held their own agent the on slot of Fire demons, pushing out into small groups to pars of the city along with the army of lesser Nobodys.
The howl of wind cut through the sea of demons as Xaldin manicured their numbers using his tornados to funnel them closer, each slash of his spears killing a platoon of solders. Unstill a much larger sword sliced through the galling wings that clocked him, the enormous demon smiles as they took another swing at the disorientated lancer.
But to no avail as several lances shout through there neck there decapitating them sending their body toppling over onto lesser demons. Hovering above Xabin's face became a sadistic smille seeing the opponents faltering before diving into the fray again bloodlust consuming him.
Luxird dogged with little effort as the demons strikes hit each other, he lamenting the fight, there was no strategy no banter, they were little more than animals lashing out on instinct
Throwing a handful of playing cards through the nearest group he takes a moment to observe the situation 'Despite their weakness thy have the numerical advantage' he thought to himself, but took note that even the Heartless were fighting the demons which he raised an eyebrow at that odd sight.
"Dance water dance" Demyx shouted as his water clones dances through the waves of monsters while he swung this instrument with reckless abandon, taking a moment to catch his breath he did not see one of the demon's lunges at him only for a arrow to fly by his head saving him, which he yelped at falling to his ass
"Ya know you could get of your ass and help " Demyx shouted at Xigbar who was in the middle of the clearing surrounded by lesser Nobodys
"This is a endurance fight don't want to tucker myself out, besides" he said with a grin broadcasting his true feelings "I'm the long-ranged, I'm not good into hand-to-hand"
Demyx made a long sigh as he knew the sniper's excuse was BS but rejoined the fight.
Axel, Roxas, and Xion stood back to back as they countered attacked the wall of opponents enclosing around them, there lesser Nobodys having all but vanished. Each of them relied on each other finding themselves becoming less effective exhausting themselves several times over with cycles of limit breakers from each of them, Axel being in the best shape as fire didn't affect him as much but not being able to use his own flames. Both Roxas & Xion's supply of Mega-Potions and Ethers being there saving grace.
"How you guys holding up?" asked Axel panting lightly as he tossed his chakrams saving one of his assassins
"Were getting ice-cream aster this" panted Xion who was barley standing on her feet Samuri guarding her
"Were getting ALL the ice-creme after this " said Roxas who was looking the worst off using his keyblade to help him stand.
Axel laughed in agreement, looking out into the distance the outermost of the city was completely gone, the devastation growing closer as the Twilight Thorns were overwhelmed. Looking up at the castle he muttered to himself "Common bigman whatcha going to do"
Xemnas watched the remaining members of the Organization started to lose ground contemplated his options, the Gummi-Ship Nobodys protected the castle agent any flying demons who strayed too close. Looking off into the distance where they originated a glowing line stretch off into a unknown world, hating as his plans were now undone, he decided.
Broadcasting his voice throughout the city he spoke, "The World That Never Was is lost" hung in the air "Retreat to the castle, kill yourself if you have to, don't get captured" he said coldly raising his hands up the castle underneath him started to move and glow.
Back on the ground Xigbar face twisted into a frown realizing everything has gone sideways "Great, just great" he swore to himself, walking over to Demyx lying on the ground he kicked the exhausted comrade "Get up, as if I'm staying behind to save your sorry ass"
"Yah yah" Demys panted "Final Limit?"
"Yah" he smirked
"METEOR MIRAGE/WAVE GIGS" they screamed to the havens
Across the city pilers of death corresponding with their wielders elements carved pathways through the hordes towards the fortress that floated ever higher
Unfortunately for the Ice-creme loving trio they were too far way to make it back in time, something Axel grunted at.
"By us some time" he commanded the lesser Nobobys, tapping into the last of his strength summoning a Corridor of Darkness. "Let's get going" the instructed the younger Nobodys
"Ri-right" Xion said supporting Roxas as they slowly made their way through the portal
Taking one last look at the remains of his adopted world Axel trudged through the portal into the mostly featureless grey void, Roxas and Xion drinking the last of their potions. Cracking his neck Axel spoke "Right lets-" he tried to say before something garbed him dragging mim back through the portal only stopping by the younger Nobody's grab his sleeves.
"Axel" they cried trying to pull him back with little success
"In Surtur's name" came the distorted voice of the Fire demon that had grabbed the red-haired Nobody, there fire growing out of control.
"OH SHI-"FOR SCUR-"AXEL-"
The demon exploded ingulfing all present and causing the Corridor to slam shut.
-Above the city the castle glowed with a blinding light as a massive portal of darkness ripped-open overhead, flying into the rift with a clap of thunder closing it shut marked the disappearance of the fortress leaving the remains of the world to be burnt to cinders. Finally the world was ingulfed in flame, exploding into a supernova rejuvenating the remaining demons, and another star in the sky vanished across many worlds.
They dying flash drew the attention of those who watched. From a fortress on the moon of a blue and green planet, to the halls of Asguard, to the skull of a long dead cosmic being, to parts yet unknown even if for just a second, a second it took for a black portal to spit out two unconscious teens.
Slowly the darkness retreated from Roxas' vision as he tried to stand, his mussels still sore. Standing shakily his mind still foggy, rubbing his eyes he tried to remember, "Uhhhh... what happened? I was I-I.. oH NO AXEL!" he screamed the memory rushed back causing him to shoot up leaving him with a headache.
"Uhhhh..." a soft groan came to his side
Turning to the sorce she saw Xion's stirring form, rushing over to check on her, shaking her gently while repeating her name "Xion, Xion get up, plese get up" he pleated
"Wha, Roxes?" she said softly, eyes glazed over "Whats? what-NO AXEL!" she cried her eyes burst open, she tried to stand but her legs gave out from under her.
"Easy" Roxas said catching her, they supported each other up. "Axel he-he" Xion said tearfully
"Will find him" said Roxes determined "No matter where-" he interrupted himself "Where are we?"
Taking the time to look around reveled them to be in a park with path next to them, to their sides were tall buildings as tall if not greater than those in the World that never was, finally the noises set in as the bussing of countless number of people and vehicles and nearly overwhelmed them. All the Nobodys could do was to stand there gocking, those native that saw them barley gave them note and those who did thought 'Tourists'
"Rosas, where..where are we?" Xion asked with hesitation
"I don't,I.." whatever thought he had ended as the ground underneath them shook.
First story uplode, Expects this to be updated with a new story only one a month if that, most will be likely two to three shots. As you can guess This is a Kingdom Hearts365/2 Days crossover the other half will be obvious next chapter. Comment and Review.
