Last month it's been rocky adjusting to one another habits, but lately it's gotten better.
Haruki doesn't even notice they were talking telepathically all day until he got a headache. "Senpai!"
"Sorry." Riku apologized with a slight grin.
Haruki sighed knowing he'll get the other started again in the morning.
pDuring, the late night movie at the apartment with the three of them. Pega fell asleep on couch leaving Riku and Haruki to sit on the floor.
Haruki's eyes were peeled on the screen but his friend's wasn't.
"I couldn't imagine being stuck to a different host, we have a lot in common." Riku mentions quietly not to wake up the sleeping alien behind them.
Haruki responded back distractedly. "It's not difficult with your personality."
"Still, I've never been with any of them longer than a day or two" Riku sighs a bit. "I want to tell you something before we left."
Haruki blinks a bit as the younger ultra scooted to his side.
"Pega and I will be back in a few weeks. Don't think we really need Geed on this particular planet-"
"You didn't want me to go too just in case? There's no oxygen?" Haruki interrupted.
"…What about your job as Windom?"
"Oh, there are other recruits besides me." Haruki nodded simply.
Riku held a worried look at his host doing it again, leaving his life beind-
"Senpai, being a host doesn't just mean borrowing my energy. It means we're a team now, didn't you often say, you go, I go?"
