Part 13 - Bella Tells The Family!
Few days later, after the trial had taken place and they were all home again, they invited everyone over, as Bella was ready to tell them everything about her parents' deaths and everything else that happened to her, and Michael and her psychologist were so proud of her that she felt ready to tell them, so she also invited him over so he could help her out if necessary or she needed his help in anything that Michael himself was able to help if needed but him there helped alot too of course, so he was just honoured to be there and around them, and also to meet little Lily was a huge thing for him to see her too, as Bella had overcome so much after being able to have her and being pregnant too. As it used to be a quite challenge for her as it was abit of a fear for her, but now she felt no fear anymore, as she managed through and she was so proud of herself being able to get pregnant, be pregnant then the labour too.
So after all decor and stuff with food and drinks were done, the doorbell went off, and one of their boys went to answer it with happiness to see the family again too. After everyone had come in, Bella then stood at her space at the stove, turning around and said
"Oh this here is my therapist and friend, Simon. Simon, meet my in-law family." They all shook his hand of course and said hello's but they still wondering why he was even here in first place, their boys knew it was adult talking, so they took the other children down in the basement to play there, while the adults talked of course. Lily stayed with Bella as she was too young anyways, as Mary said
"It is good to see you thriving here, Michael, Bella, but I dont know why you have your therapist here, Bells." Bella took a deep breath, as Michael rubbed her back, and the therapist said
"Maybe I should start with why I am here for, and that is for Bella came to me few years ago, with some deep issues of her life at the time when we met, and I agree for not only did I see a young girl on verge of a breakdown, but a girl who needed help with her mental psyche, which was in the bottom at the time. She may have met and was dating your son at the time, but I still saw that terrified and dont-know-what to do really with her life nowadays. That was about 5 years ago, as you may know some of her life at the time was abit troubled. Michael you knew more as you were at the time her boyfriend, and she was very honest and open with you in that part of her life with you from beginning, but you came that day with her, for not only herself needed my help but you needed some tools how to help her through whatever she was going through that time of her life."
Michael nodded his head, as he still rubbed Bellas back, as she then said after taking another breathe, leaning back towards Michael, who held her in his arms;
"You remember at the time you would ask where or who my parents were, and I would tell you that they were dead, but I never disclosed to how they were dead or what happened to them." Lesley nodded, as she said
"I remember you got quite emotional or not emotional at all whenever we would mention them or their names around you, and it would leave us wondering what must have happened that made you react so differently whenever they were brought up."
Bella nodded, as Michael said
"I only found out one night after she had a terrifying, screaming nightmare, and she told me everything through tears, and it was the day after I got contact with Simon and in turn he too helped me out as I needed help how am I going to handle her nightmares, flashbacks to whatever happens whenever someone mentions them to her, I just need those tools, so I could help her the best I could at the time of need. I am grateful for those tools, as of these last few months were hard on Bella after what happened on Lily's christening day and stuff afterwards too."
Most looked confused of what he said, as they now turned to Bella, as she said
"The reason I didn't speak or talk about my parents or their deaths, is for how it happened and who did it to them, for it was so painful still at the time to talk about them. Anything was a trigger for me, and recently after consoling with Simon and Michael and what we did back in Forks few weeks ago, with the trial against what that family and boy did to our old house, I felt it was time to be honest and open about it, as they had a small part of it afterall, so with help of Simon and Michael, I am ready to tell you what happened to my parents and step-father, 5 years ago."
Most were shocked of her words, and sat there waiting for her to tell them more now too. Michael grasped her shoulder in gentle manner, as Simon nodded as she did well so far, and was prepared to take over if needed both of them were of course. As Eddie then said
"So if you are ready, what happened to your parents, Bells." Bella just smiled softly as she said
"That was my daddy's nickname for me, from when I was a little baby, he would call me his little Bells, my sweetheart. But to what happened is that, one day for 5 years ago almost to the date of their deaths, was that they were murdered infront of myself in the room. By someone I truly thought I could trust and had love once for too."
Many of them were shocked of her words, as Mary had a hand over her mouth, as she was tearing up for Bellas sake, as Clay asked
"And who was it, that did this to you, B?" Bella looked up at them, as she was tearing up, said, while Michael held her shaking hands in his;
"I had only one ex-boyfriend, and he was not a very nice person to me, I know you have seen some of my scars especially when we have been in the pool and played there, but you didnt exactly know the story behind them, and that is for my ex was a very cruel and abusive boy, my first love, but how much I regret that I became an item with him, after the first punch, first slap to first time he forced himself onto me, that is what I regret and feel most hateful for, as he took away my innocence from me that night when he murdered my parents and step-father in cruel, coldblooded, and that was for that day I came home for I wanted or needed to tell my parents about Michael, that I had just met and fallen in love with. My parents were at the time very exicted of course, as they knew some of what Edward my ex had done to me, but not the whole story like you will now do. I didnt dare to at the time. But that changed that day, when he came over unexpectedly as he had heard somehow that I was in town and visiting my parents."
Most of them were shocked of what she had spoken of so far, as Simon sat back and listened on her while telling them her story of painful past, and had pride for her too.
"When he came over and he saw me there, he lit up thinking "Oh my love she is home again, lets try again." And boy was he mad when I told him no to date him again, and when he asked of why not, I had tell him that I had met someone new, better than himself, he went berserk. He went off on me, slapping me around and taking a chokehold of me, that is when my parents and step-father heard the struggle of myself and aswell trying to scream for their help. When he saw my pa-parents coming in, he l-let me go and in his anger, he grabb-grabbed a knife and- and he went off on them, and killed them there right infront of myself, stabbing them all, he stabbed my mother's belly when he saw she w-was pregnant. With my unborn sibling, that I know now that was a boy, my little brother was murdered by my ex, who could take no or see that I was happily moved on from him. Next thing I knew was me on the floor with him over me and he was trying to rip my clothes off, as the cops who had gotten calls from the neighbours hearing us all screaming for help and stuff, and they took him off me and then took me to the hospital shortly after I told them what had happened, and since he was caught doing what he was doing aswell all the blood on him, me and around us, they knew what I told them was the truth, so they took him away from the scene to book him in, as he needed to be tried despite the evidence clearly showed his guilty conicense of what had happened to us all."
Michael rubbed her back, as tears was falling from her eyes, as Simon, her therapist was very proud, as he took over for now;
"What happened after that is that Bella was taken to the hospital, for check up and rape-kit as they wanted to make sure that she hadn't been raped again by him, as you were uncouniess for good while there when he pushed down to the floor and before the cops came into the house to take him off yourself, I read it in your journal when you gave me permission as you didnt remember all the details of that night and morning after, as it was fuzzy for you for good while, and they also took a drug-test as they were worried he might drugged you not have all memories there, luckily it was none in your system except for what I prescribed for you at the time, which was a sleeping pill, as you had horrid nightmares and needed your sleep."
Bella nodded her head at this, as the rest were shocked beyond of what they heard from the two, Michael praised her for being so brave and open for their family. After a few more minutes, Ryan asked gently
"What happened with him after all was said and done, if I may ask of course?" At that Bella looked up and said sniffling;
"I went through a trial which took out alot of me, Michael being there helped alot same with Simon here too, being there, for I really needed them there, and few of their friends from sets were also there in our hearts and mind, I dont know if Zahn might guessed it out or something for he was very affectionate with me after the whole was over with. But Edward my ex, he got 5 times life sentences, as he tried to kill me that night, and that with whatelse he had done to me, my parents and Phil, my step-father aswell unborn brother, he got that with being locked up in a Maximun mental hospital jail, as he will never be freed."
Most were pleased of the sentence that her ex got, while Simon praised her for being so brave and open about it, as he felt she was ready now to go on with her life without his help that much longer. Michael kissed her softly at this point too. Michael then said
"Zahn didnt have to know anything, he just knew, baby, that something terrible had happened to you and wanted you to be the open one and tell him the story whenever you felt ready for him to hear it." Bella nodded at him, while the rest were still reeling of her story. Mary only said
"My goodness gracious alive, what the hell you must been through, sweetheart." And Bella just nodded at Mary, as the two just hugged each other, then the rest also hugged her, then she picked up her daugther, and said out loud too so all heard her voice
"When you are old enough, sweet Lily, I will tell you about your grandparents that you never got a chance to meet, and what happened to them, for you deserve to know that too." Most were swooning of her words towards their daugther, Lily. Michael kissed her and then Lily's head softly, then they went on to eat dinner that Bella had cooked up and the other children joined while Simon left them alone for now.
