When Sonic opened the door to the other side, he found the big monkey with his huge butt. "Eww! Gross, man!" Sonic said angrily to the monkey. The monkey beat its chest angrily and threw the boomerang it had been carrying around. Sonic tried to catch it, but it flipped back to the monkey. The monkey chattered angrily at Sonic. The hedgehog wondered how he could catch the boomerang, knowing it would always fly back to whoever threw it, in this case, the monkey. Just then, Sonic noticed the monkey was standing on a pillar, which gave him an idea. He used his spin dash to bash into the pillar which caused the monkey to fall to the ground. With one ending blow with his sword, the monkey was finished. Then, the boomerang hit Sonic in the head and flopped to the ground. "Ow!" Sonic said, rubbing his head as he picked it up. "What is this?" He asked. "I believe that is a gale boomerang," said Midna. "Gale? As in, gale force winds?" Asked Sonic. "You got it, smarty-hedgehog," said Midna. "It creates super strong magical whirlwinds, perfect for fighting the boss."
"In that case, I'll take it," said Sonic. He put the boomerang in his bag. But when he looked around the room, he found that he was trapped. "Uh, Midna, a little help, please?" He said. Midna floated her way to the top of the pillar and used her magic hair to pull Sonic up to the top of one of the pillars. Then, Sonic pulled himself up to the hole in the roof where he could climb out. It wasn't long before Sonic found the boss room. But the door was so heavy, he could barely budge it. That's when he saw a familiar face. It was the same monkey who had been mean to him. "You! What are you doing here? I'm pretty sure I defeated you," Sonic said. "You'll never defeat the boss that lies behind the door without me," said the monkey. "How do I know I can trust you?" Asked Sonic. "And how are you able to talk?"
"You think I only speak when you're a beast?" Said the monkey. "You must be crazy."
"I beg your pardon," said Sonic. "Look, hedgehog," said the monkey. "That door is too heavy to push open without my help. I'm a monkey with super strength. The name's Ook."
"Guess that explains how you were able to throw the boomerang so hard," said Sonic.
"You know what?" Said Ook. "Keep it. I don't need it anymore anyway." Sonic sighed. "Thanks, Ook. And, I'm sorry for what I did back there. But are you absolutely sure you're not a villain?"
"Look, pal, if I was a villain, I wouldn't be offering to help you right now," said Ook. "Use your spiny brain for monkey sake."
"Okay, okay, I get it," said Sonic. "I'll give you a chance." So Ook pushed the heavy door and Sonic raced inside to the boss room.
