And with that, Sonic ran around Kakariko Village collecting tears of light. When he had all twelve, the whole area was engulfed in light and the curtain of twilight disappeared. Another bright light appeared in front of Sonic and he shielded his eyes from the bright light. It transformed into a light spirit. "Well done, Sonic," said the light spirit. "I am the light spirit, Eldin. Thank you for saving me."
"You're welcome, Eldin," smiled Sonic. "Now I will tell you where the next fused shadow is," said Eldin. "It can be found at the top of Death Mountain. The mountain dwellers, however, are under a dark spell, except for one. She can tell you more about the spell and how to free the others." And with that, he disappeared. "Eldin?"
