SwordianSpeed Story
Chapter 2: Preparation
Dehlia wanted to go home after meeting Alex but she was suddenly spoken to by a mysterious man who looked like a Black Cloaked man with armor all over its body beneath his cloak.
The man asked her if she wanted to know who the killer was of her parents…
Dehlia got curious, but before the man wanted to spit anything out, it said that she needed to merge with Ice and come with him...
"Where are we going if I may ask Mr. …" IceLance tried to ask but was interrupted by the mysterious man.
"My name is not important right now, for now you can call me Master.
And to answer your question to where we are heading, we are going to my place so I can train you." Answered Master
After some hours of walking towards the place where Master wanted to take his new Trainee, IceLance started to pant heavily…
"*pant* Master… *pant* I don't know what is happening…but can we rest for a bit…" panted IceLance.
"Dehlia, you must undo the EM-Wave Change with me, your body is not yet used to the heavy strain of the transformation.
Give it like 2 hours rest and then you're able to transform again.
This is not forever, but just for the beginning of your time with me, once your body is used to it, you can stay much longer in EM-Wave Change." Explained Ice to Dehlia
IceLance told what Ice explained to Master and he agreed with it.
She undid the transformation, but since the heavy strain her body got from the transformation, she was very tired.
The Black Cloaked man offered to carry Dehlia the last part of their trip.
Dehlia complied with the offer to let her be carried.
A small 30 minutes later they arrived at their destination and the man cloaked in black set Dehlia down on the floor.
"Ok, I Wave-Changed with Ice to become IceLance and now I want to know the truth, who is the killer of my parents and why have you taken me here!?" started Dehlia asking after she got some of her energy back
Master kept silent and went to put down some targets that is normally used for bow & arrow practice.
Dehlia looked on and didn't understand why he didn't answer her questions but did set those things straight up…
As Master walked back, he walked towards Dehlia and put his arm around Dehlia.
"Dehlia, first go sit down on the couch there, I will tell you answers to your questions"
She sat down and Master came sit down before her…
"Ok, it's time for some answers, that's at least one thing you deserve after you did what I asked from you.
Who is the killer of your parents you ask, that is…SwordianSpeed!" Master said with emphasis
Dehlia couldn't believe what she just heard…SwordianSpeed…the Hero who is already saving the city already for so many years where she came to live not that long ago…
"Master…I- I can't believe that, SwordianSpeed the one who killed my parents…?" teardrops started to fall from Dehlia's eyes…
The black cloaked man could understand Dehlia started crying, it was because she believed SwordianSpeed to be the good-guy and not a merciless killer who killed her parents…
But after Dehlia dried her tears a boiling hatred started to form inside her.
She wanted revenge, the revenge she deserved for the kill on her parents.
"I understand your hatred you feel now for SwordianSpeed but also the tears you have inside you.
And that is why I'm going to train you with your partner Ice and make you ready, so you can exact your pain, sadness and hatred against SwordianSpeed." Offered Master.
Dehlia stood up from the couch she was sitting on.
"Ice, come here and EM-Wave Change with me!" she screamed towards Ice as she was seething with anger.
"EM-Wave Change Dehlia On The Air!" she screamed as IceLance appeared from a flash.
Master led IceLance towards the targets he set up when they arrived at the place of the Dark Cloaked man.
"Here you will use a ranged attack you know to destroy all these targets, if u don't know any attacks, ask your partner Ice." Explained Master.
Dehlia asked Ice what sorts of attacks she can use as IceLance and Ice explained it.
"Dehlia, as you are IceLance, your main element is Ice attacks and those are mostly composed of freezing the air around you but also water if nearby.
Attacks you can use as ranged attack are for now only 1: Icicle Storm.
You'll probably unlock more attacks once you get more used to your powers and fusion with me.
IceLance started to prepare for the use of her Icicle Storm.
She took a deep breath…then she froze the air around her, all sorts of big and small shards made of ice started to form above her head.
Further on there were standing 5 targets.
She pointed her Lance towards one of the targets as several of the ice shards flew there with immense speed and pierced one of the targets till there was nothing left of it.
Master was looking towards her progress and he was impressed.
Her first time and she already destroyed 1 target with ease.
"That was great IceLance, but I have one thing to say to you so you will get better: try to immediately make ice shards and not first breath in, cause that will give SwordianSpeed the chance to leap towards you…" noticed the Master.
IceLance tried to fire another wave of Icicle Shards towards the next target, but it wasn't as strong as the one that was fired before…
Master was looking and observing, but couldn't understand why this wave was weaker…
Was it because she didn't take a deep breath…the idea already is ridiculous.
"IceLance dear, try again to make yourself angry please, I think that's the cause why your first wave went so well against your first target." Proposed the Master.
The only things that could help IceLance to become angry again was her thought of how SwordianSpeed killed her parents right in front of her eyes…not that she can remember that much of it.
She focused all of her anger again in the ice shards she formed around her, but this time she formed more of them than usual.
She fires them off with all of her anger she felt for SwordianSpeed and wrecked instantly the 3 targets that were left.
"That was good, very good, IceLance." Commented the Master.
No that u mastered using your ranged attack on a silently standing target, it is time for you to master using your ranged attack on a moving target.
Because as u know SwordianSpeed is not someone who'll stand idle as you charge up your attack and fire it at him.
SwordianSpeed is also not named this way for nothing, his speed is immense, last time I saw him and I sort of calculated his speed…it reached a speed of 250 km/h.
IceLance was impressed by the news she heard and became a bit scared.
The scared look she had was clearly seen by Master, but he comforted her and said to her that he will make sure she will be able to defend against it.
"Now IceLance, I'll sort of try to attack you in a way like SwordianSpeed does, with his speed and swordsmanship.
Of course I can't make a complete copy of him, cause he is SwordianSpeed and I'm not…" offered The Master to IceLance.
IceLance was full of fury and wanted to begin immediately, but Ice cancelled the transformation…
She did it because after using so much of her power Dehlia forgot to maintain the stamina of her body…
If she would stay any longer today in transformed form, she would probably collapse from exhaustion…
Ice said to Dehlia she needed to give her body a good rest and since it was already night time, Dehlia got into bed…
As Dehlia was lying in bed, she thought to herself…could SwordianSpeed really be the killer of her parents…?
He was the hero of the city and then Master suddenly says he is a murderer…and that he killed her parents in cold blood…
She couldn't understand.
Ice could sense and feel her sadness and doubts about wanting to continue and later on battle against SwordianSpeed.
"What if he had a reason for it, or what if he didn't do it on purpose…" were questions Dehlia wanted to know answers to…
She fell asleep.
The next day.
As Dehlia woke up, her body was rested enough and she got ready for the training she had planned with the Master.
"Are you ready my pupil, cause if you're not ready, then you will not be able to focus on the fight and you'll probably get hurt badly." Warned Master.
"EM-Wave Change Dehlia On The Air!" were the words Dehlia used to answer that she was ready.
Master took out 2 swords and upped his abilities to its max so he could mostly represent how SwordianSpeed would fight.
IceLance nodded to let him see she was ready for the training.
Master charged at IceLance and got his swords ready for a hit.
As her teacher was charging at her, IceLance got a bit scared and when Master was about to hit her, she jumped away as a way to avoid him.
Master stopped his attack and said to her she need to try and parry not avoid.
Because the way she avoided him can give SwordianSpeed a chance to make an immediate follow up and still hit her.
"Don't forget IceLance, I'm not SwordianSpeed, he is much and much stronger than this, not to forget he also uses elements in his fighting style." Told Master to IceLance.
IceLance again got into fighting position and when Master charged again at her, she held her position and steadied herself for a parry against his swords.
She watched the way Master would attack, he would attack her with a downward strike and IceLance parried the attack by moving her Lance in a horizontal way.
"Very good, that the right way to parry an attack that is done that way." Commended Master.
And so the training took for like 2 hours, until IceLance got it all underway and she understood how she needed to avoid or parry and also, when she needed to avoid or parry.
There was still plenty of time till the day is over and also since her body is mostly used to the heavy strain a transformation brings, she could easily held up and start with Master the final training.
"Well IceLance, I see you're holding up quite well.
It's time for the final training you need to get before going to the battlefield and challenge SwordianSpeed." Said Master to IceLance.
IceLance was listening closely as Master said she was going to get training in Close Combat.
That is because SwordianSpeed is a close combat fighter and IceLance is a Ranged fighter.
"But Master, yesterday you said you wanted to train me in using my Icicle Storm against a moving target like SwordianSpeed?" asked IceLance.
Master forgot about that and said there was no time for it anymore to train that.
He continued to stand ready for Close Combat training with IceLance, as she was also getting ready, Master already charged at her with his full speed, even though it was as fast as SwordianSpeed, by long terms not.
Still when he clashed at IceLance, she was not prepared and got hurt by falling on her back.
He helped her up on her feet so he could tell her what she was doing wrong.
IceLance understood and promised she would protect herself against it next time.
Master jumped back to prepare again for an attack, but before he could begin his charge, IceLance was already at him before he knew it.
"Good, good you're making great improvements very quickly." Commended Master
After some more training with Master, IceLance became tired again from the harsh trainings she had the last couple of days.
She sat down on the couch and Master came to her.
"IceLance, I must congratulate you, you have survived the trainings and you're now ready to challenge SwordianSpeed so you can take your revenge." Master told her.
"But, don't forget, I am not him he is a different man than I am and obviously much stronger…
I only learned you the basics of his attack patterns, don't underestimate him, not even for a single second." Added Master to his congratulation.
The Next day.
Dehlia packed her stuff and transformed in IceLance to challenge SwordianSpeed.
Once she arrived in the city and sensed his presence, she ran out to him and screamed: "SwordianSpeed, I hereby Challenge you to a fight of Life and Death!"
SwordianSpeed turned around and saw a light-blue colored warrior standing there and accepted the challenge.
