Chapter 4: Little She-Hulk
After Kurt and Blaine move in, Liza Marie asks Santana to take her somewhere, but wouldn't let Santana tell her dads where that was. An hour later, Noah gets a call from Santana, but when he answers it. All he hears is Liza Marie yelling at someone saying, "Come see your dada, Beff!" Then he puts the phone on speaker to let the others hear as she continues, saying, "Nono said sorry, your turn! Forgive Nono and Queenie! Wanted keep, but couldn't! Nono almost died! You and Queenie, whole time, in thoughts. Me thinking about him, he is my hero. Started dreaming about him. Had nightmares, told everybody! G' Pa believed me! General Young believed, three months later! Three months Beff! Goddamn it, Beff, Nono needs you! Say Sorry, come see!" Then Santana says, "Beth, you better be thankful I am not the one that yelled at you here! We are both your dad's best friends and want him to get better here. Now, if you don't come see him soon, I will help Little She-Hulk come yell at you until you do!"
Then, Beth says, "They threw me away and barely even acknowledge that I exist! Dad has tons of pictures of her on his Facebook page, and I'm lucky if I find one of me on there! If you want me to forgive him, you can fucking forget it! I will never forgive him and like I said I hope he dies!" Then they hear Liza Marie scream before Santana says, "Holy shit! Liza Marie is kicking Beth's ass!" Then they hear Liza Marie say, "Nono loves you, Queenie loves you! Big meanie, wake up! See wrong, say sorry! Let's go, Auntie Tana. Being stupid, can't stand!" Soon the call dropped, and when they got back, Liza Marie was still fuming.
It was fifteen minutes after they returned that Shelby calls Noah, but when he answered the call all he heard was Beth saying, "Mama, I can't forgive them! I know they did it to give me a better life, but I still feel like they didn't want me." Then Shelby says, "If Puck didn't want you, do you think he would still be writing you or would have come see you when you were little? If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at me. I'm the one that stopped the visits and I'm the one that limited what you saw on Facebook. Puck is going through something no one should and needs you to be there for him. Okay?" Then he hears Beth crying before she whispers, "Okay." Then Noah says, "Beth? I really want to see you. Please forgive me for what I did. Please?"
Then he breaks down before Liza Marie takes his phone and says, "Nono hurting, please Beff." Beth just takes a deep breath before saying, "Okay, Little She-Hulk, and just so you know Mama says I was like you when I was your age. Ha, I think that's why you are his best friend. Dad, I'm sorry for being so angry with you and hope you can for give me." Noah clears his throat before saying, "If Liza Marie can, then so can I." Liza Marie smiles before saying, "I forgive." Soon they are saying their goodbyes and Liza Marie yawns. Before, Noah picks her up and says, "Nap time for Little She-Hulk and Uncle Hulk." Then he takes her to his room, where the others hear Liza Marie say sleepily, "Please God, good deams. Amen"
At one point, Quinn and Kurt go to check on them, only to see their arms wrapped around each other with scared looks on their faces. Then Liza Marie growls in her sleep before the expressions on their faces change. As Quinn and Kurt go back into the living room, she says, "Puck hasn't talked about what happened since that day in the hospital and that day he called her after their fight. I think he just wanted to hear her voice as he went to sleep. I really hope Puck gets better soon because I'm afraid of this getting worse. Liza Marie is a great help, but he really needs to see someone about his PTSD."
Beth did come to see Noah a week later and they got caught up on a lot of things. Beth even went to the park with Noah and Liza Marie. As Noah watched Liza Marie play on the swings, Beth says, "I'm right here dad, she's not me." Noah just looks at her and says, "That obvious, huh? I'm sorry Beth, I really wanted to see you. But when I woke up I saw her and she has been helping me deal with all this since. Like she said, I thought of nothing but you and Quinn the whole time. Look, I can't change the past, Beth and I really hate that I made you think I didn't love you anymore. I hope we can get past all this and I hope when you find that special guy I get to meet him before Shelby does." Beth looks at Liza Marie before saying, "You will, and I hope you never start acting like Mr. H when Quinn has another little girl." This makes Noah raise an eyebrow before Beth starts to laugh."
