CHAPTER 9- LOVE IS NOT EASY

THIRD PERSON P.O.V

When Dipper woke up the next morning with his sister he had the feeling that something was going to happen, the thing is that he didn't know what and that scares him, he didn't like to be oblivious of things, he must discover this feeling, at all costs. Mabel and Dipper, ready for thee day walked into the kitchen and saw Stan making his signature dish, Stan Cakes, a terribly made pancakes with hair in them, only Mabel and Stan are strong enough to consume something like that, Dipper prefer to stay on the bright side of cereal, they tried persuade him to at least try them but he politely refused, they shrugged but didn't tried to do this much often, but Dipper still couldn't shake the feeling of dread inside of him, if he could check he wouldn't be surprised if this feeling grew stronger than it is now, he really felt hopeless, is it about him? someone in the forest? or maybe his family? If it's second and third he will rip them to shreds, no one can touch something that belongs to HIM...only after a second of hesitation he realised what he said in his mind, is he seriously that protective of everything? Maybe, is he ashamed of what he said? absolutely not, he will protect his family and this forest even if he must kill himself in the proces, that is his vow he made now, he will always protect them from anything and anyone, but from where this though came from? he really didn't have the slightest clue about that, yesterday he wasn't thinking like that at all, what changed? maybe it's the Hydras he is meeting almost everyday, from what he saw these species are very overprotective of each other so it can be possible, but not for 100%, maybe he is just overprotective because he was born this way.

-Well Dipper, we should probably get ready, we have lunch with Pacifica now, she messaged me that her family is going somewhere later and she would like to meet us now, what do you say?-Mabel exclaimed happily, meeting new people always got her hyped, Dipper on other hand did not share her enthusiasm.

-Mabel, it's suspicious she wants us to see her NOW, it's only 9 in the goddamn morning- he growled with despair, he knows his sister will drag him there if she must.

-oh come on bro bro, don't be such a loser and enjoy life a little, who knows, maybe you will fall in love with her- she giggled at his scared face, the thought of dating such a snobbish woman wants him to gauge his eyes out.

-i only have one woman in my life i need...ok come on sis, i want to have this behind us already- the both of them stood and ignored angry Stan that they didn't finish their breakfast, but who cares now, Mabel is to happy to make new friends and Dipper is too lazy to care.

Dipper and Mabel arrived at their destination, the only restaurant in whole Gravity falls, Greasy's Diner, the whole place looking like an enormous log, Dipper was thinking how this place was functioning properly, his thinking was short when limousing pulled in front of them, Dipper saw Pacifica, she wore the same outfit when she was in the party, Dipper scowled at her when she looked at his sister with small blush, he might know what is happening here, he was tricked by the both of them.

-emm...hello there Mabel...Dipper…can i talk to Dipper alone for now Mabel- she glanced at g+him with fear in her eyes, she tried to hide it but didn't succeed in this, Mabel nodded dumbly and got distracted by some pigeons. Dipper and Paicifca looked amused by this, the both of them decided after a short while to enter the place, they found a single table in the corner and sat.

-what can i do for both of you my dears- the waiter asked politely while smiling at both of them, Dipper ordered single pancakes while Pacifia got herself hot chocolate.

-so...why do you need to talk with me, Mabel said it might be because of your family- he asked her bluntly, he stared at her eyes looking for something, he don't know what but if he sees it he will know.

-emm...about that, yes it's about my family...dont worry that don't abuse me or something like that but...emmm...they wants me to be…uhm…'straight'...so...yeah you know- she didn't knew what to tell him 'hey Dipper, you remember how i slapped you sister and you gave this talk, yeah that talk, after i talked to her i fell in love with her and i want you to help me get her heart, but my parents will probably get a stroke because of it'.

-maybe tell me everything from start, how you fell in love with my sister after the talk i gave you- he said fast but gently, he can't push her away, he saw the look his sister has when she spotted Pacifica, he might help her with this but how? he don't know anything about love, maybe he must call Nicole for help, but he must try his strength in this field first.

-well...after our encounter i talked to her and well...it kinda clicked, we have the same interests but my parents don't like them so i was forced to abandon them, we are like soul mates you know, she is beautiful, kind, and this beautiful body of her, i could cuddle her for the rest of my life listening her voice- she looked dreamy at the moment, Dipper don't know what to do, he never was in this situation earlier, he could say something to a man who would date some girl but not this, girl talking about other girl like that is very confusing and scary, when she is going to live with them in this summer he will have a mental stroke if they are the same, he better bring her down a bit.

-well, if both of you have the same interests, invite her to do something with you and tell her that you love her, and don't worry about your parents, if they will object i will talk to them deal- Dipper really want this to end, he wants to play with Hydras for a bit before he will talk with stan about this whole portal thng.

-i will leave both of you to talk for a bit, i have things to do- she nodded with relieved face, she don't need to tell him that he wants to spend some time with his sister alone.

-but if you made one thing wrong and she will be hurt because of you i will end you got it- he leaned towards her with narrowed eyes, she quickly nodded and reassured him that she will take care of his sister in many way, he don't want to know what she means by it but who cares.

-if you will sleep with her soon i will end you too, she is too innocent to know about any of this things- he said as he exited the place, he spotted his sister playing with pigeons, she taught them how to do tricks, they were jumping now, Dipper said to her that Pacifica wants to talk to her now, she jumped and runned inside, maybe this whole ordeal with love life will be good for him, his sister will spend less time with him and more with her lover.

Dipper was playing with baby hydrass, they growed a bit from the last time he saw them. Their mother was resting in a cave. She must be exhausted from taking care of her children the whole week every hour. He throwed every one of them sticks. They were hyperactive just like his sister.

-im going to hunt something, take care of my younglings boy-he heard mature hydra talk to him in his mind, they are on friendly terms, like neighbors but she likes to talk with strength and mature voice to him, for the first time he heard it he was scared he nearly piss himself, but she calmed him down, that she have that kind of voice. Dipper nodded at her and continued to play wiith her children, his mind drifting towards his sister and Pacifica, how are they doing, what are they doing, they better not sleep together or talking about theirs body, he heard one time how his sister was talking about how her body is growing, he had 'the talk' with her about this, she was interested about anything, he forbidden her to take her research on this thing, she is too innocent to see those kind of things, but eventualy she must learn what sex is, as babies were nimbling and scratching at his hands he cant shake the feeling that this whole thing with Pacificas parents will be hard t deal with, he must seriously think of some plan.

Soon Hydra mother came back with food, that was his hint to leave, he don't want to cam between younglings and their food, they can be a little aggressive about those things. As he was walking back towards Mystery Shack he was looking around him for something interesting to write or observe, but to his demise he didn't found anything interesting, so he sighed and sprinted the remaining way to his destination, the lights in living room were still on, either Stan fell asleep watching TV or its Mabel and her friends, rather the second option hearing the laugh and giggles from inside.

-MABEL IM HOME- Dipper shouted to let her know that he finally arrived, the footsteps getting closer to him and arms around his torso telling him that his sister wants something from him.

-*sigh* what is it Mabel?- he asked as he hugged her back and waited patiently for her to gather her thoughts.

-well...you told us you will hear to the problem Pacifica hass with her parents...so me, her, Grenda and Candy though today evening will be a great opportunity...so...do you have strength to think some more- she said with a smile and begging eyes, he couldn't help but feel weak for those big eyes.

-yes Mabel i still have some energy to listen, lets go- he let her free and stepped into living room where her friends were sitting in chair or laying on floor, when they spotted him the talking and laughs stopped, they looked at him with serious expressions, he sat on floor in front of them all, he closed his eyes and listened for the conversation to start.

-so...Pacifica will you tell us what your problem with your parents is?- Dipper heard Mabel asking gently, now he knows that they will end up together, if not then well, there are many womens in world to choose from.

-well...they are very demanding and strict, everything what isn't made from jewels or gold is something worse for them, they wants me to take legacy after them, they are keeping me on short leash, i can't do anything to enjoy myself, Mabel and you all are my first real friends i made in years, they are always controlling me what i'm doing, how i am doing things, who i am meeting, this is a problem with my parents, if they hear that i am here today, they will probably won't let me go from mansion before i'm 21- she hung her head low, Dipper cracked one eye open to look for her reaction, but found that she is telling like she is fearing them. The whole ordeal ended, Dipper closed his eyes but could sense others looking straight at him waiting for his answer. He can help, one phone to Nicole for help and she will destroy Northwest like they are nothing.

-i might have a answer how to deal with it but i don't know if it will work out, Nicole is able to help us with your parents, i'm not sure she will do it though, i can give you answer tomorrow, right now i'm going to bed, im ultra tired- he yawned and stretched, he didn't listen what others started talking about, he was to tired.

Dipper took quick shower and washed his teeth, he could still hear talking downstair, he can't believe how much time they can spend down there talking about anything they can, but maybe that's what friends are for, to talk about nonsense and still have fun. Fipper is too tired to do anything else with exception to changing into his pajama and go to sleep immediately, when his head hit the pillow he was out

-so Mabel...your brother looks very intimidating, i saw him for the first time today so i can't judge him that easily- Grenda said with her manly voice, her face scrunched in confusion.

-exactly, when he stepped into the room it looked like the temperature dropped- Candy said thinking about the potential answer to that.

-he is taking matters very seriously when it comes to me, im sure you all will like him, just give him a chance, usually he is a big goofball, he likes to play with me, making pranks and many more- Mabel waved her hand dismissing the thought.

-hmmm...if you are saying this like that then i think i must trust you on this, i think he is a bit protective of you from what i saw- Candy said to Mabel with knowing smile, she on the other hand just laughed dismissing such ideas.

-Dipper is overprotective...a little to much at times, there was this one time when i was flirting with a cute guy, we joked a bit, laughed together but then he started to make me uncomfortable a bit, he ignored my words to back of...and Dipper heard it, he stood in front of me and ordered this guy, Michael was his name i think, he did not listened to my brothers warning and...uh...he ended in hospital with few broken bones, our grunkle made it looked like he fell from stairs, so the whole incident ended without police intervention, our luck- Mabel said with a smile knowing that her brother is caring too much for her safety, others looked between themselves having some sort of conversation.

-wow, he broke guys' bones because he flirted a little too much with you. I wish I had a brother like that, maybe then he would talk some sense into my parents- she mumbled the rest to herself but others heard her.

-lets not think about those kinds of things now, we have a few hours of fun, let's do something funny and exciting. Maybe someday we should go with my brother into this forest. He is always wandering there for some reason- she frowned at this, why is her brother so much in this forest?

-well, it could be interesting, i heard there are monsters in there, i don't know if its true but many humans claim that they saw some kind of monster walking around, maybe Dipper is one of them in secret or something- Grenda shook her hands to emphasize her point of scariness, everyone laughed at this, but one person just outside of room heard this whole conversation, he must get Dipper help to get him out of portal, tomorrow would be a good situation. Everyone in the room after a few hours of joking, singing and laughing ended up in their homes thinking what tomorrow would bring.

-Dipper, Dipper...DIPPER WAKE UP- someone shouted into his ear, he bolted from his bed alarmed and ready to fight, but he saw that it was only his sister he relaxed and glared at her.

-Mabel it's like...7 in the goddamn morning, what do you want- he said tired when spotted the hour she woke him up, she on the other hand started bouncing in the spot with a big smile on her face.

-bro, me, Grenda, Paz and Candy wants to go explore this forest, we heard there are monsters there, is it true? you are spending there so much time that you must know something- she grabbed his shoulders and started shaking him emphasizing her point, Dipper catched only glimpse of her talking, he was still too drowsy to contact with people.

-w-wait a moment, i don't understand, and let me go ok- he stiffned her hold to make her realise she might kill him.

-sorry bro bro, but come on, put your clothes on and let's go seek some monsters in the forest- she pumped her hand in the air and handed her brother his clothes.

-those are not monsters but magical creatures, they don't like you if you speak like that about them- he stopped dead in his movement while putting shirt on, he shouldn't say any of this, he heard mabel squeal and running downstairs, he now must tell them about magical world, this will be a long day.

-so...Dipper, can I call you Dipper? tell us about what you know, your sister wants to see a unicorn...if they even exist- Candy said to him while they were walking through the forest, the whole pack, Mabel, Grenda, Candy, Pacifica and Dipper, he is of course in front of them checking everything for any sign of danger, he can't risk something will happen.

-yes you can call me Dipper, and i can tell you very little about creatures living here, they like to maintain their secrecy and i promised them that i will keep it, so understand that im putting my life here, but meh...if they decide to kill us i can protect myself and all of you, besides i have friends here that are one of the most dangerous species in this entire forest so...i think they wont do anything to us...i think- he shrugged as others exchanged worried glances, the thought that they can be killed by something is very concerning.

-hmmm...maybe w-we should turn back and...you know, do s-something else- Mabel said stopping the whole group, her friends looked wary of Dipper's reaction, they heard what he can do if he is pissed, and they don't want to feel it right now.

-seriously Mabel, you KNOW that i can protect myself and others, so lets not waste more time and see those unicorn, but i must worn you one of them is...bitchy- Dipper hissed through his teeth, he hates her aas much ass she hates him, he cant stand her presenceeven one minute not talking about how much Mabel and others will stay there, but well, he will endure this torture for them.

-and that's why i have pure heart sunshine and you don't, if you want to make picture with me you must prove me that you have pure heart as well- high pitched voice said, Dipper once again cringed at the sound of her voice, why does she have such a voice and others don't? he sighed with boredom, how much longer will they be here.

-but i have pure heart, you just don't know that because you are arrogant and selfish BEAST- everyone gasped, they know that unicorns are pure and divine animals, telling something like that is very disrespecting, after a while a loud laugh was heard, the two unicorns that stood in the back, Jeff and Oscar laughed with pure joy.

-oh man…i cant believe someone said that, but i can't disagree, she is a bitch after all- the rest of their group laughed with them, no one will disagree with that, she is a bitch after all- Oscar said loud for everyone to hear, the female unicorn by the name Bethany hummed and walked away saying something under her breath that sounded like she wanted Mabel to take her challenge, Dipper though what task would that be.

-Either way, let's enjoy the last few hours we have and have a party- his sister shouted and pumped her hand in the air followed by others, male unicorns raised their horns agreeing to her idea, Dipper groaned knowing that this will be a long day.

-that was awesome, i never thought unicorns were real, but here we were talking to them and enjoying our time with them, thank brobro without you i would die long time ago, lets visit faires next time- Mabel said with happy squeal that was mirrored by others, Dipper on the other hand jus groaned knowing that this will be everyday occurrence.

-we can visit them tomorrow sister but i must warn you that they are hostile at first, they will try to kill you for the first time, believe me they wanted to do the same for me- he glanced at them before smirking at their concerned faces.

-maybe we should rest first before deciding what to do next- Pacifica said with a quiet voice, Dipper got the hint what she implied.

-ok Pacifica, let's go and talk with your parents, I'm sure they will understand- he said nonchalantly and started walking towards Northwest's mansion before someone grabbed his arm. He turned and saw Pacifica on the brink of tears.

-y-you dont understand Dipper, they will tear you apart, they won't listen, please we can take other plans but not straight forward- her pleading earned concerned looks from their friends but Dipper was unfazed.

-i don't really care Pacifica you know i can be intimidating even if i'm so young, i have a few aces in my sleeve so don't worry- he resumed his walk towards his destination.

-it will be better if me and Pacifica talk with them- he didn't turned to look at them but they understood how important this must be so they said goodbye to the rest and leaved the two of them to walk on serious talk.

-are you sure this is a good idea?- she said for nearly a million times now, it started frustrating him so he delivered a glare in her way and she shut up pretty quickly, he finally rang the bell and a person who looked like a buttler walked out.

-oh Miss Pacifica, your parents are waiting for you in the main room- he bowed to her and led them both inside, the fancy mansion showing just how much money they have.

-your guest can wait here as you will talk with your parents- but then Dipper grabbed pacificas arm and led her to what he presumed was the living room. the place was lighted in light from fancy hanged chandelier, the room alone was bigger than mystery shack as whole building, in the middle was only sofa and two chairs, for business purposes obviously, he spotted them, the man with black hair and he must say this very handsome face, the woman was blonde like pacifica, her face must came through some plastic surgeries, it's not possible for someone to look like that naturally, they came into the view of couple and the man immediately narrowed his eyes at him but didn't say anything, meanwhile her mother became confused why she would bring commoner to their living place.

-Pacifica Elise Northwest, i hope you can have a good reason to why you brought commoner to our home- her father asked with raised eyebrow , from the first sight it's looking like a normal family, a little snobbish but good for each other, her mother looked worried for some reason.

-i came here because i'm the only person i gravity falls who has the courage to confront you about your daughters problem- Dipper kept stoical voice and look, he looked right into the two parents faces to see anger or something similar...but what he saw was shock, sadness and fatigue, interesting, something is different from the both perspectives.

-and what did our daughter say this time? that she was abused? beaten by us constantly or raped by me huh?- Dipper raised eyebrow at the description, this situation is deeper than he thought, maybe Pacifica has normal parents but she has something on her mind?.

-sweety, go to your room we will speak to your friend ok?- her mother asked kindly Pacifica who nodded and walked out of the room, Dipper saw that her posture was stiff as plank, do they really abuse her or is she imagining those things?

-*sigh* we don't want any trouble young men, we moved from city here to have some peace...and for our daughters...delicate condition, she often is telling things like that, that we abuse her or worse, we were in hospital and they told us she has…-he couldn't send because of loud crash and screaming, Pacificass parents immediately rushed from the room leaving Dipper alone with his own though, it seems like her parents don't abuse her but she has medical problem, then why did she looked so scared about her parents and his meeting, there is only one way to find out and that is to ask them about it.

-we are very sorry about that but as i first said we don't want any trouble, we will pay you to be silent for this, if any of this information what our daughter said go into the world we will be ruined, and we obviously don't want that, so how much do you want, thousands, millions? we can give you this, we have enough to share with commoners- her mother said with a silky voice, he was mesmerized by this for the first time he heard it but now he came back to his senses.

-*sigh* i think i know what she suffer to, and i think i know person who may help heal her, and in return i request your assistance in things i will need in future, and believe me i will need it, and maybe you will gain much more from it than me- he said with straight face and waited for the answer which came pretty fast.

-if you think you know the person who can heal our daughter then we trust you, but we will come with you, we don't risk anything happening to our daughter, do we have a deal?- the father extended his hand towards Dipper waiting for him to shake it, which he did, after all, having a family who will help you whatever you need in exchange that they will know about supernatural is a good deal in Dipper mind, he shook his hand indicating that the deal is made.

-my name is Preston and this is Priscila, it's nice to have a deal with you Dipper, now excuse us we must talk with our daughter about this- they stood and exited the room to talk with Pacifica, Dipper walked through the front doors thinking about what he heard.

Dipper was nearly in the Mystery Shack when he got a message on his phone, he really forgot he had one.

-Can you tell Mabel that I would like to go out with her? thanks, Pacifica here- those words got him confused, walkout as in on a date or something? If yes , then it will be a great occasion to get her accustomed here to help cure her.

-sure i will tell her, but one warning, if she lost one hair from her head because of you i will hunt you down like an animal got it?- he waited a few minutes for a reply but it never came. He must scare her with this, he must tell her that those are only jokes...or not. Dipper entered the place to be hugged by his sister, confused why she wasn't sleeping but waiting, it was nearly one in the morning.

-brobro i thought i will never see you again...tell me how was it? were they really abusing her there?- she asked with worry filled in her voice, something she rarely showed, he smiled and reassured her that everything is alright and that she is only sick but they will cure her soon.

-by the way Mabel, pacifica wants to go out with you- he did not heard response because she blushed hard and runned from the bathroom, after he done everything he came back to their room to see Mabel sleeping, or pretending to sleeping.

-*chuckle* you know sis? you don't need to hide it that you like girls and not boys, it's nothing to be embarrassed about and you scored yourself a very pretty girl, i'm a bit jealous- he smirked when he heard her groan, he knew he hit the spot, he laughed and came under his sheets to have some rest, he must made plans for tomorrow, this whole date will be in those days, he will obviously stalk those two to make sure nothing will happen to them...mainly to his sister but Pacifica will be looked too, after all his sister heart would break if something happen to her. After formulating a perfect plan he finally fell asleep thinking about what tomorrow would bring.

AN: SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING FOR SO LONG BUT THIS WHOLE ONLINE TEACHING TOOK THEIR TOOL ON ME, I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH DEEP DEPRESSION AND SOMETHING SIMILAR I DON'T QUITE REMEMBER, BUT IT'S SOMETHING SIMILAR TO DEPRESSION WHAT MAKES ME HATE CONTACT WITH PEOPLE, FOR NEARLY TWO WEEKS I DIDN'T CAME FROM MY ROOM, ONLY TO TOILET AND WALK MY DOG OUR...SO YEAH, THAT'S HOW I LIVE NOW, BUT I WON'T ABANDON THIS STORY BECAUSE I HAVE SOME SHITTY DEPRESION, IT'S ONLY TEMPORARY, I BET I WILL FEEL BETTER IN NO TIMA AND GAIN INSPIRATION TO WRITE ONCE AGAIN
