Two days later...

"How's our boy doing, Junior?" Danny asked and Junior was talking on the phone while Steve was in the shower.

"He didn't leave the house yesterday and today. The day before yesterday he took me to the museum."

"And he told you that he had an affair with the woman in the portrait," Danny told Junior.

"Yes ..." Junior was a little reticent.

"Do you realize now that he is not well, Junior?"

"Danny, he speaks with such conviction, what if it is true? He is right to be distressed, he thinks that she is pregnant and that her brother may have killed her."

"Junior, I can't believe I'm hearing this from you," Danny replied.

Junior heard the sound of the bathroom door opening and told Danny that he was going to end the call.

Steve came out of the bathroom tidy and Junior asked if he would go somewhere.

Steve put his hand up to his heart. "I'm feeling distressed, Junior. I need to get out of the house."

"And where are you going?"

"I don't know, I'm going for a walk around town."

Junior offered Steve company and the two went to the city. They had lunch at a restaurant and then Junior wanted to get to know the city a little. They were walking when they saw a mess in the middle of the street and a lot of people involved, including the police.

"What's going on over there?" Steve headed for the crowd.

"Steve, wait, we have nothing to do with this," Junior tried to dissuade him, but Steve went ahead.

A few hours before ...

Catherine was heartbroken between staying and waiting for Steve to someday return, or taking her father's advice and leaving the kingdom. She needed to make a decision and made the decision in favor of her greatest love. "I need to do what's best for my son, I need to go." Catherine gathered some clothes, jewelry and gold coins that her father had given her and walked towards another kingdom. A few hours later, she had barely progressed. The belly was very large, she felt pain in her legs and back.

Catherine was startled when she heard the sound of horses approaching and her fear materialized. Her brother found her and he was with many soldiers.

"Where do you think you're going?" Andrew told her.

"I just want to leave, Andrew. I will never go back to the kingdom, I promise. Do nothing with me and my baby."

"You are absolutely right when you say you will not return to the kingdom," Andrew drew his sword and Catherine saw the gleaming blade going towards her.

Steve entered the crowd and heard someone asking to be left alone. He hurried over and saw the police trying to talk to a woman.

"Catherine?"

Catherine froze when she heard Steve's voice. "Steve?"

Steve came over and saw her. He was bewildered and his suspicions were confirmed. He was going to be a father.

Steve hugged her and she clung to him. "Steve!"

"Cath!" Steve kissed her quickly and she begged him to get her out of there.

"Is she your wife?" The policeman asked Steve.

"Yes, she's just a little confused, but I'll take care of her," Steve replied.

She has a scratch on her neck, "the policeman said to Steve.

"Who hurt you, Cath?" Steve asked her.

Catherine thought for a moment before answering. "Someone tried to rob me, I don't know who it was."

"Let's go home, dear," Steve led her away from the crowd and Catherine accompanied him, still confused by everything that had happened.

Junior saw Steve taking Catherine out of the crowd and he recognized her as the woman in the portrait.

"Junior, please call a taxi, we need to get her out of here," Steve asked him.

Junior got a taxi and they took Catherine home.

"It's okay now," he hugged her carefully because her belly.

"Steve, we're going to have a baby," Catherine told him.

"Yes, I can see," he said and smiled as he looked at her belly.

Catherine looked at Junior and Steve remembered that he hadn't introduced her to Junior. "Junior, this is Catherine, the princess I met in the past."

"Hello," Junior told her.

"Hello," Catherine replied, but then corrected Steve. "I am no longer a princess. I gave up my title when my father wanted to force me to marry the duke."

"Steve, I think it would be nice for her to relax a little in the bath," Junior suggested.

"Good idea, Junior." Steve took her by the hand and led her to the bathroom. "Come on, I'll take care of you."

After a few minutes, Steve crouched down next to the bath. "Do you want to tell me how you got here?"

"My father died, Steve."

Steve stroked her face. "I'm sorry, Cath."

"Before he died he asked me to leave the kingdom and I was doing it when my brother found me. He raised the sword and I saw the sword coming towards me. I closed my eyes when I saw the sword coming towards me , and when I opened my eyes I was here and several people came towards me. I was very scared and nervous. "

Steve touched her neck. "The sword touched your neck and you traveled in time at the last second."

Steve put his hand on her belly. "I am very happy for our baby."

She smiled. "Me too." She touched his face. "I missed you so much, my love."

"I missed you a lot too, you can't imagine how much. But we're going to be together now and no one is going to separate us." Steve stroked her belly. "The three of us together forever."
