Intermission – Author's Note Chapter
Alright, so this hiatus has gone on long enough that I need to do something about it.
To start this off, I am so sorry to all of y'all who have been waiting for me to fully finish this whole collection. I started work on Chapter 19, but then my flashdrive where I had it had problems over the summer of June 2020, and I lost all my progress on the chapter. I haven't had any energy to try and rewrite it. I've also had my attention away from Miraculous for a while; I've had numerous other interests take up my time and energy.
Essentially, I've grown away from this fic, and it's leading onto a year and a half or so since I last updated this.
With how little energy I have to write out the rest of the remaining unwritten chapters, and with my general disconnect with Miraculous for the past while, I've decided not to write the other chapters, post what I have left, and call it there. I don't like having this left so unfinished. Waiting around until I have the motivation hasn't worked. There're more chapters waiting to be posted, and having such a contrast between the writing I made in 2019 and my current 2021 writing is going to irk me incessantly.
Long story short—yes, this fic will continue and come to an end after so long. The downside is that I won't be working to finish all of the Smutember 2019 prompts.
I don't want to force myself to write because I know that it will only serve to make stories that I won't be proud of, and I don't want to give y'all forced stories with little passion behind them. I also want to give you all a solid ending; this fic has been un-updated for over a year, and I think y'all deserve to see this through to the end.
So that's the game plan. Clean up the chapters I have left, post them, then finally close this story collection out for its end. I hope everyone is okay with that, and I quite literally can't thank all of you for your support for this story over the years. I do plan to come back to Miraculous, though for now, there are video games and other shows that have been taking up space in my mind.
