Uno, Avitar, and Vibes
Authers note: Sup dudes. Soooo remember when I said I wanted to post regularly again? Yeah me neither...welp anyways I'm here back lol. I needed some good fluff in my life because...yes and what's more fluffy than a sleepover? Also, I wanna see these guys watch ATLA together haha. I wrote half of this on an airplane and the old lady next to me was definitely reading what I was writing and was definitely judging me sooo that's a thing. Anyways, as always feel free to leave a review and let me know about any grammar/spelling mistakes I should fix. Have fun reading!
"Why my room though?!" Miyuki moaned as his teammates piled into his room.
"Because we always hang out in your room dude, this isn't too different from that," Kuramochi snickered.
"Yeah, but this is a sleepover, not just normal hanging out!" Miyuki exclaimed.
"Calm down you baby," Ryouskue told him as he dropped a pillow and a sleeping bag on the floor of Miyuki's room.
"Yeah, at least you get to sleep in your own bed," Jun said as he also found a place on the floor to set his things down.
"Kazuya! Can sleep in your bed with you?" Sawamura asked while throwing his arms around Miyuki from behind him.
"Not if you're gonna fucking kick me like you always do," muttered Miyuki.
"Hey! Don't be mean," Sawamura stomped his foot on the ground like an angry child. Miyuki rolled his eyes but took Sawamura's pillow and threw it onto his bed.
"Fine, but when I can't catch for you 'cause my legs are covered in bruises, you'll know why." Sawamura let out an indigent screech and opened his mouth to yell at Miyuki, but was quickly cut off by Ryouskue.
"Alright let's end this lover quarrel here, shall we?"
"Yeah", Kuramochi piped up, "we don't want things to get nasty if you two are sharing a bed tonight."
"Stop being mean you guys!" Harucchi called out but wasn't heard over the sounds of everyone else in the room laughing. Harucchi shot a look to Furuya, who was just rolled his eyes at everyone.
"Why are you all literal toddlers?" Tetsu said to no one in particular as he shook his head,
"'Cause, it's fun!" Kuramochi said happily.
"Alright fuckers listen up for like two seconds," Miyuki called loudly to get everyone's attention, "find somewhere on the floor to sleep and put your stuff there, if we get busted doing this we are all kinda fucked so when it gets later at least try to not scream bloody murder." He looked right at Sawamura who stuck out his tongue in response.
"Because you all apparently decided to do this in my room, I'm gonna take charge. We all brought various games and shit to do and we can watch a movie or something later if we want. So yeah, I think that's it, and uhh…just don't completely destroy my room."
Everyone nodded along with Miyuki and, once he was done talking, continued to find places on the floor to sleep and pull out games and things they had brought.
"I'LL RECK YOUR SHIT MIYUKI!"
"Now that's not very nice, stop whining like a little bitch and draw 4~"
Kuramochi continued to whine like a little bitch, but did, however, draw 4 cards from the draw pile.
"It's not Miyuki's fault you suck at Uno," Furuya murmured from beside him as he placed a card down. Kuramochi shot him a murderous glare but quickly aimed it at Harucchi instead who had switched the card color to something Kuramochi had none of. Noticing Kuramochi's displeasure at the selected color, Miyuki chose not to change it. He looked Kuramochi straight in the eye as he placed a Green 5 down.
"Damn, that was cold," Ryouskue let out a slow whistle at Miyuki's deadpan face while he placed the card down.
"YOU DON'T GET TO MAKE SASSY COMMENTS, YOU GOT OUT IN THE FIRST ROUND!" Kuramochi shouted to him as he aggressively drew cards from the draw pile. They were playing the game in rounds. Once someone won a round they would all count up their cards and whoever had the most was eliminated. They also had two decks of cards so opted to split up so they could have faster-moving games, which meant that Miyuki was playing with Ryouskue, Furuya, Harucchi, and Kuramochi.
"That's 'cause dear Little Brother of mine hasn't lost a game of Uno since we were five, I never expect to win while playing him.
"Neither have I," piped up Furuya, who was wearing a very uncharacteristic smirk.
"Well then, it looks like this will be a very interesting game," Harucchi cocked an eyebrow at Furuya, "I don't intend to break my streak."
"Neither do I," Furuya gave him a competitive glare as he slapped a reverse card down, making it Kuramochi's turn once again.
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" Kuramochi looked like he was ready to kill someone as he drew card after card from the draw pile. By the time he picked one he could play, it seemed as if he held half the deck in his hand.
Miyuki chuckled along with everyone else at Kuramochi's suffering and wondered if Harucchi and Furuya had forgotten he was even playing. Honestly, he hoped they did.
"That's just how this game works, sorry," Furuya did not, in fact, sound very sorry at all. Kuramochi muttered some unintelligible curses at Furuya and attempted to organize the cards in his hand.
By the end of that round, Kuramochi was, unsurprisingly, the one to be eliminated, much to Miyuki's delight. But his joy didn't last long seeing as he was out in the next round, leaving Harucchi and Furuya as the finalists. It was a tough game but in the end, Harucchi lost his first game of Uno since he was five, and Furuya was crowned the Uno champion. All in all, it was a very entertaining Uno tournament.
"Seeing as how Furuya won the tournament, I think he should get to chose what movie or TV show we watch tonight," Harucchi announced to everyone once the cards had been up away. The members of the other game of Uno clearly had not been having as serious of a game as the other because they looked vaguely confused at the mention of an Uno tournament, but no one made a move to argue with Harucchi.
"Alright, then I pick..." Furuya briefly paused to think about what to watch, "I pick Avatar The Last Airbender!"
"Ohhh, I used to love that show!" Sawamura grinned.
"It was literally my favorite," Kuramochi nodded.
"I haven't seen it in so long," Zono murmured. Everyone else agreed that Avitar was an amazing show except for Miyuki, who just looked vaguely confused by the whole conversation.
"What's Avitar The Last Airbender?" he asked. All conversation in the room immediately came to a halt.
"Wait...you've never heard of Avatar?" Kuramochi asked him, sounding shocked.
"Nope," Miyuki shrugged.
"THE FUCK YOU MEAN YOU NEVER HEARD OF IT!? HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!" yelled Jun, who was quickly elbowed by Tetsu for being too loud.
"Holy fuck dude, you are so missing out," Zono patted Miyuki on the shoulder.
Sit your ass down Miyuki because you're about to witness the best TV show in history," Sawamura shoved Miyuki down onto the floor in front of the TV and reached for the remote to turn it on.
"Trust us, you won't be disappointed," Harucchi assured him. Furuya nodded along as well
"We are 100% about to watch the whole damn show, so prepare for the time of your life," Ryouskue said as he sat down on the ground beside Kuramochi and grabbed a blanket for them to share.
"Well, what's it even about?" Miyuki asked, only to be shushed by Sawamura.
"You'll see soon enough, now shut the fuck up so I can hear the intro. As if on cue, everyone in the room began to recite the Avitar intro that they all, apparently, still had memorized from their childhoods.
'Water, Earth, Fire, Air, long ago the four nations...'
"What the actual fuck?" Miyuki looked around in shock and terror, "is this a fucking cult?!"
"Shaddup, will you?" Kuramochi threw a pillow at his face. All Miyuki could do was shake his head and continue to watch the show.
Ryouskue let out a content sigh. "This is nice," he murmured to no one in particular.
He had no idea how many seasons of Avitar they had gotten through, or at what time Miyuki and Sawamura had crawled into Miyuki's bed had fallen asleep quietly wrapped up in each other's arms. He didn't realize when Kuramochi had cuddled closer to him and fallen asleep with his head resting in Ryouskue's lap. He had no idea when Furuya and Harucchi had fallen asleep side by side sharing a pillow, or when Zono had stolen Ryouskue's sleeping bag and fallen asleep in it. He barely even registered when Tetsu stood up from where he was sitting on Jun's lap to turn off the lights. All he knew was that he was surrounded by all his best friends and couldn't be any happier.
"Yeah, it is nice," replied Jun. Tetsu hummed in agreement before he turned away from the TV and let his eyes travel around the room.
"Look at all these idiots," he said with no real bite behind his words as he regarded his sleeping teammates.
"Jeez, the babies all fell asleep already?" Ryouskue said with the same fond tone that Tetsu had used.
"Welp it's their loss, they're missing the best parts of the show," Jun gave a small smile while Tetsu and Ryouskue chuckled.
"What the hell am I gonna do when I graduate?" Tetsu asked quietly.
"Dude, all three of us are gonna be in the same boat," Jun leaned further into Tetsu's lap, "I hate to say it but...I'm gonna miss all the little fuckers here."
"Me too," Tetsu sighed.
"I mean at this point we're basically family, and it's gonna be hell having to leave everyone," Ryouskue murmured.
"Well at least I don't have to leave you," Tetsu moved to place a soft kiss on Jun's neck. Ryouskue shook his head at them before looking down at his own boyfriend sprawled across his lap and smiling sadly.
"Oh, shit dude I-I didn't even think...I'm sorry," Tetsu stammered out an apology. Ryouskue gave him a small smile.
"It's alright, I'm happy you two get to stay together," Ryouskue ran his fingers through Kuramochi's hair, "I just don't know what I'm gonna do not being able to see him every day."
"You two will make it work, I know you will," Jun placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
"Everything will work out," Tetsu smiled at him, "but for now let's not focus on that and just be in the moment," Jun regarded him for a second.
"That was sappy as hell, but I'll let it slide," Ryouskue laughed and turned his attention back to the TV.
"It is sappy but, honestly, not bad advice," Ryouskue ran his fingers through Kuramochi's hair again, "all the depressing stuff can wait for a bit."
"And I still wanna finish Avitar," Jun said.
"Agreed," Tetsu nodded. With that, the three of them lapsed into a comfortable silence and continued to watch the show.
All in all, the whole team sleepover was a success.
