Chapter 2: Helper

A week later, Noah sat in the living room, listening to Kurt tell him about the day he first went to New York and was robbed. Then Noah flips over the coffee table and yells, "Kurt, that may be humorous to you now, but I remember watching Blaine and your father wonder whether you were going to live!" Kurt, I nearly died! I was raped for a month and now sleep with your daughter's Hulk doll because I am still terrified to sleep at night! There are times when I'm not sure whether it's day or night and have to ask someone what day it is! Kurt, I have to wear a diaper because blood is still coming out of my ass! Quinn and I haven't slept in the same bed since I got home, and I feel like a toddler! Because I have to sleep in a bed with a safety rail! I'm a grown man wearing a diaper and sleeping in a room set up for a toddler!" Then Noah takes off his shirt and screams, "Look at me, Kurt! You have no clue of the hell I have been through! All the shit I did to you in high school was nothing compared to this!"

Then Liza Marie takes Noah's hand and glares at the others, before saying to them, "Uncle Nono, isn't the only one still having bad dreams about what happened to him! I can't get the image out of my head of blood pouring from his body and the bad men taking turns whipping him wiff a whip that looked like the one used on Jesus! I don't know what Queenie dreamed, but I was dreaming that Uncle Nono was chained between two huge poles and made to eat dog food after he lost his eyesight! He was being burned wiff cigarettes and cigars! Then they put something in his butt that made it bleed! He was screaming for hours until he couldn't scream anymore and the bad men just laughed at him!"

Before Liza Marie takes Noah to his room, Quinn says, "I only dreamt about him getting whipped and raped. I wasn't even told about the other stuff."Noah doesn't really respond, and Liza Marie just takes him to his room before yelling, "I'm moving in!Nono needs my help, and you are of no help!"Both Blaine and Kurt entered Noah's room to speak with her before she screams, "So, why can't we all just move in?We spend more time here than at home, and someone has to take charge of the situation! Nono needs help, and I am willing to help!"

Then Quinn gives Burt fifty dollars before saying, "I better give this to you now before Kurt comes out asking if they can move in. Ha, we both know he's going to cave and she is right, they are here 90% of the time."

Soon Kurt comes out of the room and says to Quinn, "You didn't look outside when we pulled up, did you? By the way, we knew she would ask and this was her plan." After this, Noah comes out of his room and hands Burt a key before saying, "Last door at the end of the hall. Ha, I meant to show you last week, but I totally forgot."

Quinn takes the key and leads them to the door before saying, "Mr H, you and Blaine should be grateful Puck is still straight after this, and Kurt, you'll be sorry you never had a crush on him. Mrs. H, you should be happy Puck is both blind and straight."

The moment Quinn opens the door, Burt looks at Kurt and says, "Gees, Puck, If I didn't know any better. I'd think Quinn was married to Rambo. Holy cow, I've never seen so many guns, and is that an AK-47?" When they come back into the living room, Burt looks at Noah and says, "Santana joked about you turning into me, but I think you are worse in a good way. No wonder I couldn't intimidate you when you were a kid. Ha, I can't wait for you and Quinn to start having kids now."

This makes Noah chuckle before he says, "Mr. H, I wanted to be someone better than my dad, and you were the only father in my life growing up. Ha, I noticed when you were packing to go to Washington, I never once saw you carry out a gun case. I guess the whole thing about a gun was all talk. Now, I have over fifty guns thanks to you, and you know if I have another daughter I'll really be worse than you."

After this, Quinn elbows him, and says, "No you won't, Puck, and if you are. I'll be like Mrs. H. and you know it. I'm not going to have you scaring off boys like Mr. H. used to." Then she looked at Blaine and said, "And you better not try to borrow him to do that to Liza Marie. I mean it, Blaine, the last thing I want is Liza Marie mad at Puck!"

Carole chuckles and says to Quinn, "Ha, I'll bet money Liza Marie will be like you in a few years." This makes Blaine laugh before saying, "I agree with Carole, even if she is my daughter." Liza Marie glares at Blaine before saying, "Papa, you and Dada might be my dads, but Nono is my best friend! How else do you explain why I dreamt about him!"

Noah picks up Liza Marie as she starts to cry, then says to Blaine, "Man, I know, you are the reason she is into the Hulk, and I was wondering if you have the Daredevil movie." Blaine chuckles and says, "Yea, and I saw you working out in your backyard yesterday. Ha, I know you are bigger than Ben Affleck, and I bet you could still kick some serious ass." Then the others glare at Blaine before Liza Marie says, "Give Papa a break, and you know Nono has never backed down from a fight! Why do you think he was the only one that lived through what happened to him?! He might have been close to doing what Samson did before he died, but he still lived!"

Quinn goes to their bedroom and comes back with a photo of the two pillars that she hands to Burt. Before saying, "It just dawned on me that she might have been talking about seeing Puck chained to those pillars. I wondered why that picture was in his file at the army hospital. I know General Young said that he was close to bringing the place down when they found him." Then she looked at Blaine and said, "I almost lost him once, Blaine, I'm not losing him again, and he isn't bulletproof! Okay?!"
