At the construction site, the SG11 are doing examining the decomposing body. Jack is accompanying the SG11 man. He uses forceps to take out the bone fragment, ending the examination. The wolf shows up and sees the men. Jack leaves the construction site. The wolf attacks the SG11 man and kills him, except Jack, who quickly summons Gaomon before he could attack it. At the embarkation room, Ferrel and his men except Jack are at the control room, the SG11 man shows up immediately after the iris opened.
"Dr. Roth, what is it?" asked Hammond.
"Lodus is dead!" cried Dr. Roth. "And the wolf took Jack and Gaomon!"
"How long ago?" asked Miss May.
"Three hours ago!" cried Dr. Roth.
"Come to the briefing room, we must find out who did it." said Hammond.
At the forest, Jack and Gaomon regain consciousness to find a wolf shapeshifting into a woman. Hammond later sends an airplane to the gate.
"Listen up guys, this is a briefing." said Ferrel. "Jack is at the forest with a wolf. Move out."
"I'm counting on you guys." said Shoutmon.
"Don't mess this up, guys." said Hammond.
At the plains of Japan, Ferrel and his men are searching for Jack and Gaomon.
"Dr. Roth, take Alex, Shoutmon and Miss May to the docks." said Ferrel. "Sam, Pete and I will search for Jack and Gaomon."
Back at the forest, the wolf who is actually a shapeshifter cuffs Jack and Gaomon.
"Where are you taking me?" asked Jack. "I'm a member of the survivor."
Gaomon is resting. He then gets up. Just before he can make a call, the shapeshifter slams the phone, breaking it. Jack picks up the phone before continuing the trail. At the woods, Ferrel and his men summon Meicoomon, Impmon, Terriermon, Veemon and Hawkmon respectively so that the rescue mission becomes easy.
"Split up!" ordered Ferrel.
At the swamp, Jack, Gaomon and the shapeshifter rest. The shapeshifter meditates and breathes. Jack slowly summons Falcomon. Falcomon slowly uncuffs Jack, just as he continues to breathes.
"Is Shakka here?" asked Jack.
The shapeshifter looks at the plane. He then flees the scene.
Ferrel goes to the other path with Impmon, Meicoomon and Terriermon so that they can find Jack from there. Jack, Falcomon and Gaomon along with the shapeshifter are at the water area. He drinks water. Jack, Gaomon and Falcomon flee the scene and swim on the body of water. He sees worms, similar to the one from the Goa'uld. It attacks Gaomon. Falcomon grabs the worm and pulls it. Meanwhile, Sam, Veemon and Hawkmon are at the tent.
"Listen, we found a corpse at the main tent." said Sam.
"Meicoomon knows it." said Veemon. "They are on the way to the rendezvous point."
The man shows up.
"Where's the rest of the men?" asked Hawkmon.
"They're dead, because of that wolf." said the man.
"Sam, this massacre ends now!" cried Hawkmon. "Who's with me?"
Jack, Gaomon and Falcomon are in the cave with the shapeshifter, who is mute. They enjoy a meal. Later at night, Ferrel, Impmon, Terriermon and Meicoomon are resting for the night. Meicoomon sees Impmon in a passionate way and snuggles with him like an adorable couples. Back at the cave, Jack, Gaomon and Falcomon slowly escape to the forest with the shapeshifter sleeping as a wolf. Later, the wolf turns into a human and gives Jack the first half of the cross-shaped wound. In the morning, Alex and Shoutmon find a worm. They then turn against his men.
"Come no closer." said Shoutmon.
"One more step and you're dead." said Alex.
"This makes no sense." said Miss May.
"Mei-mei is right." said Impmon from far away.
He then shows up,
"Mei-mei has excellent telepathy." said Impmon.
Alex and Shoutmon give the handcuffs to the Ferrel's men. At the cave, the shapeshifter is sleelping as a wolf. The wolf wakes up and sees a bloody paw. At the forest, Shoutmon cuffs Impmon and Meicoomon, except Terriermon, who recognizes him as an ally. At the cave, Jack takes out the bullet from the wolf's paw. Still at the forest, Alex cuffs Ferrel's men. Later, Alex shoots the man who broke free from the handcuffs.
"I'm sorry that I had to cuff you and your friends." said Alex. "Shoutmon did the same."
Before Dr. Roth is uncuffed, he breaks free and attacks Alex and Shoutmon. Terriermon performs Bunny Blast and defeats Dr. Roth.
"That did it." said Terriermon. "Go find Jack, sensei. Renamon and I will handle them."
Ferrel summons Renamon before he can find Jack. At the cave, Miss May summons Palmon and sees bloodstains. The bloodstains say "This Way". At the cave area, the shapeshifter and Jack along with Gaomon and Falcomon are at the corridor. The monsters show up.
"There's more than one wolf." said Gaomon.
"They're shapeshifters, they can turn them into humans." said Falcomon.
Ferrel and his men are told to hold their fire. They did it anyway on one shapeshifter. Despite the numerous gunshots, he still lives. The shapeshifter drowns the wolf, killing it. Meicoomon and Impmon surprise attack the other shapeshifters thanks to transportation. Jack is then uncufffed and the shapeshifter leaves the caves.
