At the mine facility, the men wake up from the prison cells. They are sent to the cafeteria for a meal. The mine leader appears.
"Attention colleagues, it is I, Kazu." said Kazu. "Thanks to your hard work, the report will be sent in two months. We will reclaim our serves. Back to work."
The men is served with a cup of clam chowder, except the bread. This causes Ferrel to get angry, attacking Alex.
"There's no bread." said the chef. "We give away the last one."
Ferrel then attacks Alex by punching him in the face.
"Stop!" cried Miss May.
Ferrel stops hitting Alex.
"Back to work." said the chef.
At the workshop, Jack is fixing the pipes that were leaking.
"What happened?" asked Miss May.
"We are stuck here." said Jack.
"We have been forced to work on the mine." said Ferrel.
"I can't summon Palmon here." said Miss May. "This is against the rules."
At the embarkation room, the gate is activated. Hammond talks to the man who lived in Japan.
"We have a report. The men is stuck in the mine room and they are forced to work." said Hammond.
"Well, it is due to the recent mission with the purgers." said the man.
At the dark room, the gate is activated. At the room, Alex is shoveling some rocks.
"You okay?" asked Jack.
"I was injured." said Alex. "And Shoutmon is imprisoned, by the mine workers."
At the hotel room, the woman speaks to the receptionist.
"It was the worm, the worm is inside Alex." said the woman.
"And what about Miss May?" asked the receptionist.
"She is dealing with restoring her memories so that she can get out of the mine." said the woman.
"Right now, we have no crimes inside the mine." said the receptionist.
The receptionist gives the piece of paper to the woman with the information. At the office, Miss May talks to the woman. Later, Ferrel and Miss May works on the mine. At the embarkation room, the SG3 return to the headquarters with bad news.
"Bad news, sir. No sign of the crew." said the man
"What?!" cried Hammond. "You said to get them in one piece."
"This is a bunch of.." said the man incompletely. "He's been forced to work in the mine."
"I understand Ferrel and his men are forced to work in the mine." said Hammond.
At the pipe room, Alex loses consciousness after he applied too much pressure. The gas chamber leaks with very hot water.
"Evacuate while we deal with the pipes." ordered the leader.
The men evacuate while the leader deal with the pipes by bashing it with a baseball bat, lowering the pressure. Alex is resting. Later, Ferrel, Sam, Pete and Miss May are figuring out how to exit the mines.
"Sir, Alex is right, we need to get out of here." said Ferrel.
Later, Jack wakes up to talk to Ferrel and Miss May.
"So?" asked Ferrel.
"Alex said we have to escape and summon Meicoomon in order to find a way out." said Jack.
"Same here." said Ferrel.
"What are we supposed to do?" asked Jack.
"I suggest we escape from the mine leaders and get out of there." said Ferrel. "First, we find a way to summon Meicoomon and deal with the situation."
At the briefing room, Hammond and Dr. Laura figure out the solution regarding Ferrel's men.
"No reports regarding the men." said Hammond.
"I see.." said Dr. Laura. "Meicoomon is imprisoned before Ferrel and his men are forced to work in the mine and now, these…"
Dr. Laura is sobbing. At the cafeteria, Ferrel and his men are eating a cup of clam chowder with Ritz crackers.
"We know that enjoying the chowder is good." said Ferrel.
At the bedroom, Alex is having a nightmare. He then wakes up to remove the band-aid. As he removes the band-aid, the scene changes to Ferrel and Miss May conversing. At the hotel room, Brenna and the man are conversing.
"We have a report that the men are figuring out how to escape." said Brenna.
"Well, it is an honor to serve the people." said the man. "And yes, we will miss you."
Ferrel wakes up and sent to the hotel room as an allusion.
"Am I hallucinating?" asked Ferrel.
"No. Come, sit." said the man.
"Administer…" said Ferrel. "Where's Meicoomon?!"
"I took them away." said the man.
"How?! By euthanizing them?!" said Ferrel.
The dream ends as Ferrel wakes up the second time.
"Guys, report to Brenna for debriefing." said the man.
At the office, Alex's body is taken to the bed.
"What is it?" asked Jack.
"He's dying." said the woman.
"He must have had the band-aid removed." said Jack.
"You are Miss May, Sam, Pete, Ferrel and Jack. And this is Alex." said the woman. "You don't belong here."
"I was right all along." said Ferrel.
The door opens with two men pointing the guns at Ferrel's men. Just as the men aim the gun at the woman's head, Ferrel intervenes and defeats two men. Alex wakes up and lead the woman to the exit.
"Listen up everyone! This man is responsible for forcing us to work at the mine." said Ferrel. "And Meicoomon knows it too you know, even though she is not present."
Ferrel shoots the window to find out that the mine is actually a facility. The people are now happy that they see light. Later, Ferrel and his men are putting a bullet on the lock to release several Digimon creatures, including Meicoomon.
"Welcome, kid." said Shoutmon.
"Shoutmon, my partner." said Alex.
"I sent the way out, Ferrel." said Meicoomon.
"How?" asked Ferrel.
"I use telepathy, just like Impmon taught me." said Meicoomon.
With all of the creatures out of the way, Ferrel and his men return to the headquarters.
