At the room, a man is collecting items including Egyptian figurines.
"Dr. Jackson." said the man.
"Hi." said Dr. Jackson
"What are you doing in the middle of the night?" asked the man.
"Just collecting artifacts." said Dr. Jackson.
"You should be in bed." said the man.
Dr. Jackson stops collecting and goes to bed. The man takes his place. At the briefing room, Ferrel and his men are conversing about a magazine. Jack looks at the magazine and found an article about a man who dies at the age of 44 due to brain cancer. Several days later, Jack attends the funeral of Dr. Jackson. The man continues his eulogy. An another man is speaking during a funeral.
"When will this speech ever end? I don't know who is this guy was." said the young man.
"Maybe he's some homeless person." said the another man.
"Anyway, I gotta get home. I gotta study for the exam." said the young man.
"We are not idiots, so how do you know?" said the another man. "Scary, huh?"
The funeral ends as the man that was collecting the artifacts earlier was cremated. The men say goodbye with several middle fingers drawn.
"Here's to crime!" cried the men in unison.
At the reception, the conversation erupts as Jack shows up.
"Can I talk to you for a moment?" asked Jack. "When you get back today, please meet me at the headquarters. You know what's regarding. See you there."
Jack slams the door shut and walks away.
"It's about Meicoomon, huh?" said the man.
"Meicoomon didn't attend the funeral." said the another man.
At the briefing room, Ferrel and his men except Jack talks to Hammond.
"We know that the mission is being postponed until Jack returns with the man." said Hammond.
Jack shows up.
"And there he is." said Hammond.
"I heard that Meicoomon did not attend the funeral because it is not his business." said Jack.
"Hi." said the man.
"He's Artie from the funeral." said Jack.
Meanwhile, a woman converses only to discover that one of the artifacts is missing. Later at the headquarters, Ferrel's men are going out to the lake for a round of fishing. The woman is talking to the another person to find the artifact. Miss May, who is fixing a motorcycle inside the headquarters, receives a phone call from the woman, saying that is urgent. Meanwhile, Alex, Shoutmon and Ferrel are fishing. Alex receives a phone call from the same woman. The woman needs help with the translating. At the museum, Ferrel and his men as well as Hammond help the woman translates the words that are on the paper. At the room, Jack finds the deceased man's shirt to be donated. He hears footsteps. It was the same man from the funeral.
"You scared me." said Jack.
"You're Jack." said the man. "From the funeral."
"It is none of his business. That's why Meicoomon did not attend his funeral." said Jack.
As Jack turns on the light, they found an elevator with several dead bodies.
"This is why we need to summon Lalamon to finish the job." said Jack.
At the office, Jack talks to the woman with several pictures presented. Meanwhile, Dr. Laura extracts a worm inside the artifacts. She then makes an incision on the worm.
"It's dead." said Dr. Laura.
Still at the office, the woman finds Dr. Jackson's files missing prior to his death. She then uses an external hard drive to extract information on Dr. Jackson.
"I gotta show this to Meicoomon, he'll know what to do with them." said Jack.
At the briefing room, Miss May and her men as well as Dr. Laura and Hammond talk about a worm that was inside the artifact.
"We know it's dead and we know that the purgers put that thing inside." said Hammond.
Later, the woman warns Jack.
"Jack, the man who is a relative to Dr. Jackson has moved away." said the woman.
"I know that part already." said Jack.
At the room, Jack returns to the headquarters and shows it to Meicoomon and Miss May.
"This artifact had a worm." said Meicoomon. "Cool."
At the infirmary, Dr. Laura receives a call. She gives the phone to Hammond.
"Yes, I hear you." said Hammond. "Someone left Cairo one hour ago."
"Well?" said Jack.
"Let's suit up and find out." said Hammond.
At the desert, Ferrel and his men enter the tomb with the woman and Meicoomon. Meicoomon's eyes transition to a cross, which helps these creatures digivolve, and found the source for the worm.
"That must be the artifact that was in the museum. It's the same one." said Meicoomon.
Ferrel places the cross on the device. As the drawers open, they found weapons.
"What is this?!" cried Ferrel. "We didn't come all the way here to find weapons."
Outside, Miss May summons Palmon and warns the others that the invisible cloak clad assassins are there. She found a man hung from the ceiling by assassins. Meicoomon mourns the loss of the man. Crying, Meicoomon cuts off the rope and drags the corpse. The same woman from the museum is responsible for hanging the man.
"You!" cried Meicoomon.
Before Meicoomon could aid Impmon in the attack of the woman, she punches them in the face and throws them backwards.
"I'm the one who hangs this man." said the woman.
The woman is then attacked by Terriermon adn Renamon, who were summoned by Ferrel.
"Meicoomon, you okay?" asked Terriermon.
"Just a scratch." said Meicoomon.
He then stabs her with a tranquilizer dart. The woman then gets away with several weapons from a ship.
"Darn it, we had him." said Shoutmon. "Meicoomon, you are right, the man that was hung by the neck was done by a woman, not these assassins."
"We'll get her next time." said Meicoomon. "Right Impmon?"
The man that was hung is buried.
