At the control room, Hammond sees the gate.
"Open the iris." ordered Hammond.
As the gate is opened, the gunshots erupts, damaging the embarkation room with Ferrel and his men exiting from a dangerous mission.
"Ferrel, why are you here so sudden?" asked Hammond.
"We were ambushed." replied Ferrel.
At the briefing room, they figure out the solution to the ambush problem.
"Frankly, I'm getting tired of sending people only to find gunshots." said Hammond. "I mean, to get injured during the evacuation."
"Good, sir." said Meicoomon, who were summoned by Ferrel. "I just spoke to Calumon, and he said that the source for the gunshots is caused by tiny cats."
At the office, Ferrel visits Hammond with the woman cleaning up the box. Later, Hammond walk away from Ferrel's men, including Alex and Shoutmon.
"Well, it's a pleasure to see you." said Shoutmon.
At the embarkation room, the room is surrounded by fellow men working for the SG4 and SG5.
"Ten-hut!" cried Ferrel.
"My name is James Amagi, a new general. I will be taking Hammond's place." said James.
"I remember James." said Shoutmon.
"You do?" asked Alex.
"James took care of the purgers previously. And now he's a general and a retired tamer?" said Shoutmon.
At the office, James talks to Sam and Pete.
"Welcome, Sam, Pete." said James.
"It's a pleasure to meet you." said Sam.
"Meicoomon did a lot of trouble digivolving Guilmon and his comrades." said James.
At Hammond's house, Ferrel visits Hammond.
"SG-1's been dismantled and Jack is working for James." said Ferrel. "And Meicoomon has a new ability to help Guilmon and his comrades digivolve."
"I see." said Hammond. "2 weeks ago, I was contacted by a rapper who died recently."
"Who?" asked Ferrel.
"Some asian rapper. The Tao-Tao people hate the man." said Hammond. "And I cannot abandon my family."
"I'll be leaving soon." said Ferrel.
At the prison cell, Ferrel visits an inmate known as Paul. At the operating room, Miss May and Pete are operating on the chemical that will blow up the purger stronghold. Ferrel is talking to Paul in prison.
"What do you know?" asked Ferrel.
"I know that Hammond left SG-1 as a navigator and James temporarily took his place." said Paul.
"Is it the same guy who helped me end these devastating attacks in the digital world?" asked Ferrel.
"Yes." said Paul.
"I have never threatened a 5 star general." said Ferrel. "You are facing a death penalty that will end these crimes."
Later, at the control room, the gate opens with SG-3, Alex and Shotumon exiting to the headquarters.
"Where's Mr. Wade?" asked James.
"Dead." replied Shoutmon. "He was shot in the head three times in a row."
"And this guy is injured with severe external and internal bleeding." said Alex.
"Get these men to the infirmary. Miss May, summon Palmon and find out what's going on." ordered James.
At the house, Ferrel goes to the house with Paul to uncover a criminal clue. Later at the office, Miss May and Palmon talk to James regarding the mission commissioned by Alex and Shoutmon. Back at the house, Paul continues to look up the files.
"Sh*t! Needs password." said Paul.
Ferrel looks out the window to find several suit-and-tie clad assassins.
"Time to go." said Ferrel. "Meicoomon, can you find a way out of here?"
"I can get you out of here, but we will be cornered." said Meicoomon.
"Forget it." said Ferrel. "Terriermon and Impmon will get us out of here instead."
"It'll be too dangerous unless he digivolves to Gargomon." said Meicoomon.
At the embarkation room, Miss May, Sam and Pete transport the cart containing several bombs to the Purger Stronghold. Later at the picnic table, Ferrel and Paul buy a hot dog and a sandwich. The cart is on the way to the desert.
"Stop the test!" cried Jack. "Because if you don't stop the test, then the bomb goes off, which will kill a bunch of innocent people."
"You are making a big mistake." said James.
"I wish Hammond will come back so that he can deal with this!" said Jack.
At the White House, Ferrel and Paul visits the president.
"Hello. No weapons allowed in the White House." said the woman.
"This is a DigiVice." said Ferrel.
"Still, no weapons allowed." said the woman.
"I see that you have a policy against allowing weapons such as firearms, knives and ice picks." said Ferrel.
At the control room, the technician detonates a bomb inside the desert.
"What happened?" asked Jack.
"It works." said James.
"Close the iris." ordered Miss May. "We have to act on evacuation now, James. Attention all personnel, as an order of General James Amagi, all personnel must evacuate immediately."
Ferrel's men and James evacuate the control room just in case the embarkation room blow up. Meanwhile, Ferrel and Paul visit the vice president.
"How can I help you?" asked the vice president.
"I'm here to talk over the solution to the problem." asked Ferrel.
"Out of my house!" cried the vice president.
Ferrel points the gun at the president.
"Hands up." ordered Meicoomon. "And at least I bought Impmon to interrogate you."
At the control room, Miss May is looking at the countdown.
"We have ten minutes to cool down the cover for the iris to the gate before it blows up." said Jack.
Meanwhile at the same room, the vice president is taken hostage by Meicoomon and Impmon.
"I have three children, two daughters and one son." said the vice president.
Ferrel looks at the face of one of the three victims.
"Try 'Richard'." said Ferrel.
Paul enters the password "Richard". It worked.
"We're in." said Paul.
"Dang right." said Impmon.
The purgers exit the car. Ferrel and Paul see them.
"Give me the disc." said the vice president.
Still at the control room, Miss May and Ferrel's men exit the room, leaving the room. Immediately afterwards, the gate shuts off, cooling down the iris cover.
"The gate is off." said Shoutmon.
Downstairs, Ferrel, the vice president and Paul say goodbye to the woman. As they exit, the purgers are actually news reporters. They take pictures of Ferrel and Paul. They drive away from the White House. Later at the briefing room, Hammond returns to the headquarters.
"Welcome back Hammond." said Ferrel.
"It's good to have you back." said Hammond.
Hammond received a phone call. It was Paul who talks to Ferrel. Since Hammond returns to the crew, the days of hardship are over, but not for missions.
