In the comtemporary world of Japan, Miss May is visiting the CEO of IBM. They are seated. The waitress shows up. Later, Miss May and the CEO go to the office building inside the complex.
"Please standby for transportation." said the technician.
They see the gate.
"That must be it." said Miss May.
Several soldiers stand in front of the gate. Ferrel's men show up with Alex, who does not have a crest on his forehead due to the time continuum.
"Attention people. The president will see you now." said the CEO.
They see the old man on TV. He makes a monologue.
"Alex, Sam, Pete, Miss May and Jack. It is an honor to see you." said the old man through the TV. "Ferrel will not be here today. As you can see, a man passed away before we had the chance to unveil the people. We are now dealing with relationships between human and Digimon. Please step forward."
Ferrel's men and Miss May step forward to give them awards such as a golden trophy. The soldiers fire three shots away from the people and aim to the windows.
"That is all for now." said the old man through the TV.
Ferrel's men then attend the conversation.
"To Hammond, also known as Captain Ham." said the men in unison.
"Where are we?" asked Miss May.
"In Japan, in 2020." said Alex.
"Where's Shoutmon?" asked Jack.
"They have been confiscated before we got here." said Alex.
At the office building, the doctor shows up with results. She shows Miss May the X-ray showing a damaged set of ovaries.
"You can't have children." said the doctor.
"I said everything's fine." said Miss May.
At the lab, the man is checking up with Miss May. She is presented with the map of Japan.
"So?" asked Miss May.
"They said that you are in 2020. The start of a devastating pandemic." said the man.
"Thank you, Mollon." said Miss May.
"You're welcome." said Mollon.
The doctor shows up.
"Miss May, Palmon and the others are stuck in the real world and the digital world." said the doctor.
"We are stuck in 2020. If I get out, then I will be forced to kill myself to break the loop." said Miss May.
"Well that's too bad." said the doctor.
At the restaurant, Jack and his allies are conversing and figuring out how to escape from a loop.
"The night Hammond died, he abused drugs." said the doctor.
"No, he abused drugs right before he died." said Miss May.
"Okay, time for plan C." said Jack.
Jack gets up from the seat and leaves the restaurant. Before the men eat, the waitress shows up.
"Where's Jack?" asked the waitress.
"He's in the restroom." said Miss May.
At the house, Ferrel, who was not shaved in weeks, visits Miss May.
"I am retired." said Ferrel. "So don't call me sir. How may I help you?"
"I'm here to see Meicoomon." said Miss May. "He'll know what to do with this."
"Meicoomon is in the real world." said Ferrel.
"So?" asked Miss May.
"So, if we don't go to C1, then we can't see Meicoomon again." said Ferrel. "And these men are behind bars."
At the entrance to the office building, Miss May and her men figure out how to see Meicoomon. At the headquarters, several people are guided to the tour, by the SGC woman. They are presented with the photos of the original team of survivors.
"The survivors represent the days of surviving the annual purge where all crime including murder is legal for 24 hours and emergency services become unavailable." said the tour guide.
At the embarkation room, the people show the gate for current missions.
"The gate is used to take these people to anywhere in the world to hunt down bad guys, extract information and more." said the tour guide. "And do not touch the gate as it leaves fingerprints."
At the briefing room, Ferrel shows up with Jack, Miss May, Sam and Pete. The sergeant shows up with the gun.
"You're not supposed to be here!" cried the sergeant. "Ferrel, I thought you are a killer."
"I used to be, but not anymore." said Ferrel.
At the hotel room, Miss May wakes up in silence as the man knocks on the door. At the restaurant, Ferrel and Jack are conversing. Later at the same room, Miss May and the man converse. At the same building, Miss May and her men are looking at the map once again. Ferrel shows up.
"Jackson is here." said Ferrel.
"Welcome, sir." said Jackson.
"I'll hand it over to Alex." said Ferrel.
"Sure." said Jackson.
"You won't need back up, Ferrel." said Miss May.
"The sun is beeping." said Jack.
At the entrance, they are gathered for a briefing.
"We have found Meicoomon. He's with Impmon and Terriermon at the moment and he is trapped inside the loop inside the digital world." said Jack. "Are we clear?"
"Crystal." said Miss May.
Ferrel suits up by gathering ammunition and rifles. He sees the gate blocked by a security guard.
"Traveller from Nagoya. Please wait outside." said the voice.
Alex and Shoutmon appear.
"Weapons are not allowed sir." said the security guard.
"We carry these for ceremonial purposes only." said Alex before shooting the guard in the chest, killing him.
"Attack in progress, leave immediately." said the voice.
"Run!" cried Shoutmon before activating the gate.
Alex and Shoutmon flee the scene. As the cameras turn into weapons, Ferrel quickly goes to the gate only to get killed. Jack is the second and Miss May is the third. Inside the real world, the real men and Hammond see a piece of paper containing the coordinates.
"What does it say?" asked Hammond.
"It says 'Under no circumstances, go to Nagoya'." said Meicoomon.
"I want one area of Nagoya be removed from the coordination immediately." said Hammond.
"Yes sir." said the technician.
They are returned to the real world, where 2020 is no longer a destination for missions.
