Sanji and Zoro started taking turns on planning their dates. It became a regular thing with them. They didn't have dates every week because they saw each other enough but every month or two they would go out on a date. They did the weirdest things but they were all fun. They've done lazer tag with random people, seen plays or gone to ballets. Then they stopped planning separately and planned dates together. Their first planned date together was going to see an opera, both have never been to one and were curious so they went. After that they went to a fast food place and got some spicy popcorn chicken on sale with some ice scream. They had a small battle to see who could eat the most spicy chicken without going for water or milk. It ended in a tie but it was fun and they were both smiling and laughing.

After it went on like this Sanji had to ask, "are we dating?" He asks, they sat on a bench eating their bagel sandwiches. He sees Zoro look up while taking a zip from his banana and strawberry smoothie. He then starts to hum.

"We've been on so many dates so yeah we are." Zoro smiles at Sanji. The cook couldn't help but feel relieved. He knew he shouldn't worry but there was still a little voice in his head that told him after so many dates that Zoro would still say they weren't. He didn't know how to react if that were the case so to hear Zoro say they are dating made him happy amongst other things.

Zoro couldn't fool himself. He really liked the dates and he knew that the feeling he is feeling towards Sanji is just like before. He likes Sanji. They would do the most crazy things like dress up and see an opera then go to Burger Queen for spicy chicken. They had breakfast then went to an arcade. Zoro loved it.

It was also good timing. There dates became sparse, with Lili growing up and the fact that they see each other often going out on a date isn't something they felt compelled to do. They started taking the kids out for fun stuff. Going out to the park, going to amusement parks, watching movies, having picnics.

Both of their lives did a one eighty from how everything began.

Sanji sat on a lawn chair next to Zoro as they watched the kids play in the backyard. The season were changing. From autumn to winter to spring and now it's changing to summer. Zoro sat there in the shade in a navy blue tank top, shorts, and sandals with sunglasses as he watched Arin and Luane playing with the sparer, making sure they don't hurt Lili who is still getting use to walking. She would follow them everywhere.

The cook wore a button up shirt with shorts and loafers he also wore some sunglasses.

"Zoro!" Arin shouts. Sanji was there when Arin had asked what to call Zoro. His new friends had asked about his family, he had his sister but he didn't know how to introduce Zoro or what to call him. Zoro told him he could call anything, Dad, big brother, uncle or even just Zoro. He didn't care. He was fine with anything. Lili on the other hand had started calling him mom, especially after Luane had made fun of Zoro saying he's more like a mom. Sanji found that hilarious and laughed his ass off as Zoro blushed when being called that. Arin had stuck to calling him Zoro, it's what he called him before and it was weird to start calling him dad but maybe it'll happen in the future. "Lili is making that face again!"

"And she's squatting!" Luane adds. Zoro gets up. They all knew what that meant. She needs a diaper change. Zoro picked her up after she finished and took her inside the house.

Arin and Luane started chasing each other with their water guns, laughing. Sanji heard the doorbell being ringed and new that Zoro wouldn't be able to answer it so he got up to. "Be careful, I'll be right back." Sanji warns them. They can be the trouble makers if they really wanted to. They've never done something to harm someone else just harmless pranks. Of course they've gotten in trouble for that but no serious punishment.

Sanji went to the door and opens it. He was surprised. No way. "Reiju?" He asks. He hasn't seen her till the last day she saw her own daughter, when Luane was around two and three months old she stopped coming around. It's been so long since he's seen her. "What are you doing in here?" Sanji looks around to see if his whole family was there too. No, it was just her.

"I came to talk to you about Luane."

"What about her?"

"Can I come in?"

"Um... I..." Sanji looks behind himself. He doesn't know what to. It's not his house, even though he's almost always here. "This isn't my house but if you want to talk we can." Sanji says stepping to the side. Reiju walks in, she takes off her shoes and follows Sanji to the living room. She looks at Sanji, he's changed a lot in the last four years since she's seen him. Luane must have grown up too. She looks around taking quick peaks at the picture frames. "What do you want to talk about?" Sanji asks.

"How have you been?"

"Good. Really good." Sanji says with a smile.

"Luane?"

"She's been good. Besides when her and Arin are pranking people. She doing in good in school too."

"Do you think Luane would... like to come live with me?" She asks. Sanji felt light headed, and forgot to breath for a second and forgot where he even was.

"What?" Sanji asks. He felt his whole world turn on it's head.

"I've been on my own for a while."

"What about Judge?"

"He seems happy with the other three so I left. Starting doing my own thing. I became a scientist. I also found someone... I was wondering if it would be alright with you if Luane came to live with me." Sanji saw white. He was a little angry. How dare she come here to take Luane away from him when she's been gone for so long. Luane doesn't even remember her. Sanji opened his mouth but got interrupted.

"Hey, cook who was... at... the... door." He says catching glances with Reiji. He stares at her then at Sanji. They have the same eyebrow curl. "Whose this?"

"My sister, Reiju." Sanji says. He silently thanked Zoro, if he didn't come when he did he would have started yelling at her.

"Then I'll go watch the kids." He says holding Lili in his arms.

"Why so sudden?" Sanji asks having calmed down.

"It's not sudden for me. Me and... my partner were talking about kids recently. I didn't want to hide anything so I told them I had a daughter that my brother is taking care of. My partner then wanted to me Luane, and even maybe keep her." Reiju says.

"I don't know. It's been a while since Luane knew the truth. But still, I don't think she remembers you. I don't want to-"

"Sorry, just ignore me." Zoro says walking past them to get into the kitchen. "Just getting them some drinks." Zoro explains with Lili in his arms.

"I don't want to give her up." Sanji says as soon as Zoro went into the kitchen.

"But she's my daughter."

"Who you haven't seen or talked to in four years. How did you even know I was here? I moved." Sanji asks. He loves Luane, she's more than just his niece. She is his. He doesn't want to see her leave.

"I talked to people. I've been searching for you for months." Reiju just says.

"I..." Sanji doesn't know what to do. He knows she's right. Luane is her daughter but he doesn't want to give her up. "I'll be right back." Sanji tells her. He runs into the kitchen to see Zoro standing there pouring juice in a zippy cup for Lili with two other cup that haven't been filled and closed with a lid. "Zoro." Sanji smiles at the way the mosshead jumped in his skin. He turns to Sanji.

"You scared the crap out of me. Is your sister gone?" He asks.

"No, I need advice."

"About?"

"She wants to take Luane but I don't want to let her go. What should I do?" Sanji asks.

"Let Luane decide."

"But-"

"Let Luane be her mom for a weekend or two. After that let her decide. It wouldn't hurt to at least let her meet her mom right?" Zoro asks picking Lili up from her high chair, handing the little girl her zippy cup while taking the other cup. Sanji follows Zoro out to the living room stopping in front of his sister.

"Alright how about this..."

Luane sat next to Zoro taking her cup as she watched Sanji and Arin play. Sanji teaching Arin some foot techniques for soccer.

Sanji had taken her into the house to talk to her mother, leaving them alone for a bit before she left. "Zoro, will you be sad if you don't see me?" She asks. She didn't seem happy or excited.

"Yeah, of course. Why?"

"Think Dad would too? If I went with mom..." such a weird thing to say, "would I see you, or dad, or Arin, or Lili again?"

"I don't know. But you have the choice not to. If you want to stay with Sanji then stay with him. No one is forcing you to do anything." Zoro hugs her.

"I can really choose?"

"Yeah, you could stay with Sanji or not. But I will tell you Sanji doesn't want you to go." She smiles at him. She set her cup down and takes Lili hands to run off to join the other two.

Zoro watches as Sanji walks towards him with a smile. His mood seemed brighter. Sanji grabs Zoro's face and smashes his lips with the marimos. "Thank you for your advice." He says then gives a shocked Zoro another kiss. "That one if for saying my name." Zoro blushes and turns his head.

"Don't know where you thought I said your name."

"Ew!" Arin sticks his tongue out at them.

"Blech!" Luane says turning around covering her eyes. Lili picks the ball up and throws it at Arins back.

"Hey." He says turning back.

Sanji smiles while Zoro let out a small laugh. They were just being dramatic.
