Chapter 1: Rayna and the Last Dragon

The next day, I met up with Sarah, James, and Henri, as well as some of my other best friends Alex Russo, Justin Evans, and Max Greenwald at the Loew's Theater in the Waterfront to see the newest Disney movie Rayna and the Last Dragon. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. "Ah, it's so great to be back here again," Alex happily stated. "It has been over a year since we last went to this movie theater." "During the pandemic, we have just been having Movie Night at your house," I pointed out. "Tell me about this 'boy band' group that you have been talking about every Sunday, Alex," Sarah stated. "Well, Sarah," Alex replied, "we have just been discussing about our favorite boy bands and the history of them, ours being 98 Degrees, of course." "By the way, thanks for letting me listen to them in the car with you guys," I thanked Alex. "Our all-time favorite song by the band is entitled 'Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)'," Alex explained. "I have heard the song a couple of times before and I can see why you guys like it so much," Sarah remarked. "Our favorite band has been Santana, and our all-time favorite song by the band is entitled 'Into the Night'." "Yes, we all love our Latin-American music, guys," I stated. "Hopefully, Benedict is not at the movie theater today," Sarah pointed out. "He was not a good boyfriend for me, despite us getting back together once when we were older. But, even that was a long time ago." "The truth is, I really didn't mind the pandemic all that much because all of you guys were there for me," I pointed out. "Without you guys, the pandemic would have been 10 times worse. Kudos to all of you guys on getting vaccinated!" "Can you guess what is in this duffel bag, Max?" Henri asked. "Let me guess... is it snacks, Henri?" Max asked. "Nope, but it's something else," Henri replied. "We have art supplies in here," James added. "Why do you have art supplies, James?" Justin asked. "I am glad that you asked, Justin," James replied. "We are trying to figure out some springtime designs that I can take photos of." "And, I am coloring them in since this is basically an assignment for Pittsburgh's Perfect Parties," Sarah explained. "I just brought my fuzzy blanket with me," Alex pointed out. "I have slept with it every night during the pandemic." "And, I have slept with my night light every night during the pandemic," Justin added. "We brought the snacks for a change," Max stated. "I brought popcorn, Justin brought trail mix, and Alex brought cut-up fruits and veggies." Pretty soon, it was time to go in and see the movie. It was a very good movie about the history of a young girl trying to find her favorite dragon. After the movie, we went to Burgatory for dinner instead of Red Robin since the restaurant was closed. "A toast to all of us finally getting vaccinated," Alex stated as we clinked our glasses together. "The movie was wonderful, and the music reminded me of our final band concert, where we had our best music performed!" "I liked the popcorn," Max stated. "I also brought some chocolate snacks to share with everyone," Justin stated. "I am sitting on my fuzzy blanket still," Alex stated. "That duffel bag was so heavy," Henri stated. "I can take photos of all of the lovely springtime sights," James pointed out. "And, I can color in a pretty rainbow of all of us together," Sarah happily stated. "I know, as Alex is wearing red, Justin is wearing orange, Max is wearing yellow, Henri is wearing green, James is wearing blue, and Sarah is wearing purple," I noticed. "We should get a picture of all of us together to send to Mrs. Ellis." We then shot a photo to put on the website. After we finished our dinner, Sarah, James, and Henri drove me back to my mom's apartment in Highland Park. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Bye, guys!" "Bye!"
