In a city in Germany, black van stood hidden in a black alley.
"you think this will work? I mean do you think their control over this guy is as strong as they want us to believe?" a man turned to his two companions in the van. the van was filled with machines and senors. the sound of them beeping and clicking was filling the van.
"does it matter?" the largest of them growled. he had not wanted to be here here but he had to.
"ah come on. this is an easy job. all we have to do is sit here and watch the sensors." the third of them said as he rested his feet to the desk and kept eating his candy. "much better than what those other suckers got." he grinned and nudged his head to the widows in the front of the van, where there heavy rain was drumming against the van.
"oh it's really coming down out there." the first one grinned knowing that the other men from DOATECH was stuck being out there in the rain being prepared if something went wrong.
"we don't get payed to joke around. get back to work and would you stop chewing on those things. your infernal chewing is getting on my nerves. " the large one growled angry.
"yes sir!" the third one said and jokingly saluted him.
in a dark building not to far away you could see the fire from some guns going of. soon after one could hear the last death cries. the room was filled with dead bodies and their chopped of limbs. the floor was covered in blood.
"no! no! Get away from me!" a male voice called. a fat man dressed in a expensive dress tried to crawl away up against a wall. his suit was stained with blood. he looked terrified to a young man standing in the middle of the bodies. he was dressed in a simple black tight suit. the black rubber like fabric was covered with blood. he held a Katana in his hand, the blood was dripping from the blade.
"what is it that you want? I can give you anything!" the fat man said as he sat up against the wall. the man moved slowly towards him.
"no no! come on man! talk to me! there must be something you want!" the fat man looked up at the face of the young man and the false smile he had faded away to a true terror as he looked up at him. the young man's face was hard and cold, and the man remembered the faces of old stone statues of demons. it was so threatening to look at. yet it was the young man's eyes that made could shivers go down the man's spine. a half long fire red hair moved gently as he came to a stop before the man and a pair of auburn eyes looked at him but their were so cold and lifeless.
"no! please I beg you! I'll do anything just don't kill me!" the fat man screamed as the assassin lifted his katana. as both hands rested around the hilt, the blade came down and the blood covered the walls. a last death cry filled the room and then silence.
the assassin opened his eyes, his face was spotted with blood and he was breathing a little strained. he stood up and looked around in the room and at all the blood and bodies. he looked down at his own blood soaked hands, but there was no emotion to be found in his stone face, but perhaps a small trace of confusion in his eyes..
"the mission is competed, call him back." a voice sounded over the radio in the van.
"yes sir. sending return signal now." the third man said, beginning to punch in some buttons on his computer.
"wow! I can cant believe it. his vitals did not spike once even. he is really emotionless." the first one grinned and looked to his two friends.
the large one only grumbled.
"ah come on man. the mission was a success. cant you even be glad for that?" the third one grinned as he filled his mouth with candy.
"once we get this freak back in the van and we are back at the headquarters. then I'll be happy." the large one growled.
"Hey, the hard part is over. what can go wrong now?" the third one laughed.
"don't say that, don't ever say that." the large one cursed growling towards his friend.
"what ever man.. just chill." the third smiled.
the assassin stood still but turned his head as he got the return signal. he swung his blade and made the blood fly of it before sheathing it. he started to move to the door when he stopped and his hand returned to the blade.
the door slammed open and a large group of men came in.
"what the.." the first one just barely manged to say before he was slashed by the sword and died. the group of men had barely not the chance to see him before he had bolted of and half of them lay dead."what was that?" one of them asked.
"get him! he killed the Boss!" another one called that saw their boss laying there cut in half. one of them started barking orders to find and kill the assassin over a radio. soon the building was swarming with men and the forced the assassin to run up the stairs and up the floors.
"what is going on? his vitals are all over the place! what is happening?" the first man in the van called over the radio to the men that were sett to keep an eye on the assassin.
"you guys were to late with the return signal! now he is being followed by the whole gang!" one of the men screamed back.
"we sent the signal as soon as you said so! can't you guys do something?" the man in the van asked angry.
"not as it is right now." the answer came quickly, as they watched the assassin run up the floors.
the assassin moved quickly and when ever people came out of the floors he came to, he killed them and hurried on.
soon he reached the roof and rushed onto it. the rain was falling like sticks and the wind was almost enough to make him fall. he looked around but there was no escape it seemed. he stopped looking at the closest building before turning as the door to the roof opened and all the men came out on the roof.
"now we got you."
"there is no where left to run now."
"we got you right were we want you."
"you are gonna pay for what you have done!" the men said angry as they moved out on the roof. the assassin moved back a few steps. the heavy rain washed away the blood on him.
the men the raised and aimed their guns towards him. the assassin turned around quickly and then leaped of the roof. just as he turned the men started firing. one of the bullets went strait through his right shoulder.
another bullet hit him just where the neck meets the head, but the bullet recoiled of as it hit him. a short cry of pain was all he uttered as he fell. the men ran over to the edge and looked down it.
"what?"
"where is he?"
"we hit him... didn't we?"
"how could he..? no one could have survived a fall like that.." the men asked confused as there was no body on the ground but he was no where to been seen.
"find him! we hit him so he cant have gotten far! with a wound like that he will need someone to look at it. set up guards by the hospitals. Find him!" one of them ordered. and the men spread out to find this mysterious assassin.
while all of this was going on, the men in the van were having their own problems.
"every thing is the red zone!" the first one called
"there must be something we can do!"
"keep trying to call him back!"
"no use.. we are losing control here!" just as the first one called out that one of the machines made a large Bang sound and began to burn.
"No no! put that fire out! we cant lose the control on him now!" the large one called to his friends as he tried to push as many buttons as he could.
"to late!" the last one called as the machines shut down around them with loud sounds.
"fuck!" one of them screamed in the smoke filled dark van.
the assassin hadn't fallen to the ground. he blacked out for a few seconds after the bullet hit his back head, but just as he came to, instinct took over and he kicked of from the building and manged to grip hold of some went on the building next to it with his unhurt arm. his other shoulder could not hold him. the roof of the building protected him from the eyes of the men that were after him, as well as from the men that had been watching him.
hearing them leave he then manged somehow to pull up on the roof and hid behind some pipes.
he was gasping for air the pain from his shoulder and back head made him dizzy.
he pulled of a cloth belt he had around his waist and made an improvised bandage around his shoulder, cringing slightly as he tied it as hard as he could to stop the bleeding.
his left hand then moved to the hurting, pulsating spot in the back of his head. sliding his fingers along the hair line towards it he stopped as his fingers torched something metal.
what? he wondered as he let along the edges of the thing. gently taking hold of it he manged to pull it loose. as he held it in his hand he looked at the small broken metal thing. it reminded almost of a computer ship of some kind but he had no idea of what it was or even what it was doing behind on his neck.
looks like it saved my life.. what ever it is.. he though low, understanding that it was that thing that had stopped the bullet that hit him. a sound soon had him jump back to reality.
the men was still looking for him and he was far from safe yet. standing up, he looked around for a way of the roof.
he found it in a bunch of bags of garbage laying piled up in a back alley just below him. quickly moving over to it and the edge, he then let himself fall into it, baring the pain from his shoulder by the hard landing but not noticing losing the sword in the landing.
he manged to pull out of the pile of junk and began to move out of the ally as fast as he could, holding his arm to the hurt shoulder as he felt how it was bleeding again.
the pain in his shoulder and back head as well as the added dizziness and confusion that came thanks to the bloodless was disoriented him and soon he had no idea where he was headed any more. not that he had know where to go in the beginning all he could think clearly in his mind was that he had to get away, as far ways as he could. he hardly even noting that the rain was finally stopping to fall.
after a while he had gotten far away from where he had started but the blood loss were beginning to become a real problem. he moved out of an alley disoriented and dizzy, hardly managing to stay on his feet.
"*wow hey!*" a voice called as he passed someone, but he didn't see her or where he was going, as he stepped right out into the street.
"*look out!*" a voice called as a car came rushing down the road. a hand took hold around him and pulled him out of the way just in time before the car missed him by an inch.
"*you got a death wish or something?*" she asked and looked after the car that kept driving.
"'*at least he could have stopped after almost running someone over.*" she growled angry before looking at him.
"*are you okey?*" she asked but realized he must had passed out just before she grabbed him. she looked over him and sighed. she saw the makeshift bandage around his shoulder and as then suddenly realized as she was holding his head with her hand that he was bleeding in the back of the head somewhere.
"*you got yourself into a fight or something?*" she asked not really expecting an answer.
"*well I cant let you lay out here.. so you might as well come with me..*" she sighed and some how manged to pull him up and support him while she made her way home, luckily her home was not to far.
she lay him down in one of the guest rooms in her home and lay him down on the bed there. she quickly checked the bleeding wound in the back of his neck but was relived of seeing it was nothing to bad.
"*head wounds always bleed so much.. but you gave me quite the scare there.*" she smiled faintly looking down at the unconscious man. taking some prepared medical supplies, she cleaned the wound and then bandaged it. she then moved on to removing the scarf tied around his shoulder.
"*you got shot? what on earth have you been up to?*" she wondered but gently tipped him over to check his back.
"*well it's a through and through.. and it doesn't seem to have hit anything.. you are luckily.*" she sighed relived and then began to remove his cloths so she could clean it and sticth the wound.
as soon as she was done closing the wound on both sides she banged it and then tipped him back on his back.
"*there that should do it.*" she smiled and then pulled the blankets over him.
wonder who he is.. not a German native that's for sure.. a tourist perhaps? but how did he end up like this? someone must be missing him. I'll have to talk to the police.. but I think I should wait until he wake up.. the police will need some answers when I call them.. I better have the answers first. she sighed.
still he is cute.. sleeping like that.. kinda hot actually.. she thought as she placed a wet cloth to his forehead to fight the rising fever, she blushed slightly as she gently pulled some locks of hair out of his face.
oh get a hold of yourself Hitomi. she said to herself and moved over the floor. coming to the door she turned of the lights in the room letting her guest sleep while she went downstairs to get some food, before returning to his side in case he would wake up soon.
autor's note:
a fic I did some time ago on my Deviant art page, that I am pretty happy with.
oh and when I add a * to a quote it means she is speaking German.. it will be clearer in the next part..
just an idea for what might have happened when Hayate ended up at Hitomi's place..
don't flame me for this.. this was just one idea.. if you don't like it well then you dont like it.. just don't flame me for it...
