Chapter 3.

Prompts 11 -15

11. Take a Break

Chat knew how hard of a worker Marinette could be, often times finding her buried in designing and sewing and others finding her slumped on her desk utterly exhausted from the workload.

So that was why, at times when and found her in the rare moments she wasn't steamrolling herself to the ground, he did all he could to help her relax and take a breath; bringing her plenty of snacks and water to stay hydrated, a small stack of shows and movies he had yet to see to help her unwind and the occasional kneading massage for when her shoulders and back grew too tight.

It showed how much Marinette appreciated her kitty's efforts when, three times out of five times, she gave just as good back in return.

12. Cuddles

She knew that she must've locked absolutely awful when she caught that cold; snuffling, red as a cherry and practically sneezing her brains out every five seconds.

But none of that stopped Chat from pulling her in close and holding her tight, the warmth, for the first time that day, not bothering her in the least while he used his tail to grab the tissue box for her.

13. Flower Shop

For every flowerpot that he knocked over in the last Akuma battle that took place far too close to Marinette's balcony for his liking, he made it a point to immediately bring over new, creatively colorful ones with the prettiest flowers he could find.

She drew the line at the twenty-seventh pot. After all, if he kept bringing new flowers over, how would she fit all of them into her tiny garden?

14. Dancing

She had been so despondent about missing the Spring Dance at school due to her sprained ankle – an accident from tripping over her backpack of all things – her beautifully, hand-designed dress left on the lonely mannequin while she stewed in shame. For Chat, that sort of sadness showing on her beautiful face just wouldn't stand.

Which brought him right back to her balcony the next night, a tuxedo bow-tie set in place of his bell that look so out of place on his leather cat-suit it nearly made her laugh out loud, and a small boom-box that somehow synced perfectly with with his baton to play a soothing, romantic melody that sent all kinds of fluttery warmth through her.

And no matter, as she took his offered hand to lead her into their first waltz, no argument or rational explanation calmed the rapid beating in her chest.

15. Moonlight

Unbeknownst to her, Chat Noir was just the same. For with how the silvery light of moon lit up the blue in her hair and the sky in her eyes, for the first time he realized just how fast and hard he had fallen for Marinette Dupain-Cheng. And he had no idea as to what to do about it.
