It had been a few days since Morfonica had made their way to Roselia. They had been welcomed and allowed to stay. But, the organization knew they were alive despite their bombs being removed. Because they had not all gone off at the same time, the organization got very suspicious of them.

They had found this out through eavesdropping on a conversation. The demons employed by the organization were now looking for them as well. And their orders were to kill them at all costs. They weren't allowed to live.

So, they were on the run now. Just like everyone else. But, they at least had a lot of demons with them that could fight. They had protection.

"Hey, remember that one rebel group? They got captured." Ako mentioned as her and Tomoe came back from a patrol.

"Hmm? The weird one?" Lisa questioned.

Ako nodded, "Yep. The one trying to spread happiness. They got captured and are set to be killed soon."

"Why do you bring this up?" Yukina asked, "They aren't useful to our goal. We discussed this a little while ago."

"Well, two of their members are said to have a lot of knowledge on the organization. I just thought maybe you'd want them?" Ako replied.

Yukina pondered it. It was true that demons like that were useful. But, they had a lot of demons already like that. But, they might have new information no one else came across yet. She was conflicted on what she should do.

"Let's take a vote. Who wants them to be rescued and who doesn't." Yukina decided on how to determine their response.

Most everyone was for saving them. No one was against it. Some were just uncertain on what to say. They didn't want the demons to be killed, but it was risky to save them as well.

"Oh, one more thing. One of their demons is still in the jail while the rest are already at the place for execution." Tomoe added, "It's a bit strange."

"Maybe it's like what happened with Sayo?" Lisa said, "She has ties to the organization already so they want her alive to force her into work."

"Oh... that makes sense."

"So, we're going to save them. Let's get planning."

Two days later, they set out. They had a plan now. Hopefully it would go well. They didn't have much time left. Tonight was their execution. If they didn't hurry, it would be too late for four of them.

The plan was quite simple. Roselia and RAS were going to rescue the four at their execution. Pastel*Palettes and Morfonica were going into the jail to get the other one. Afterglow was being split up. Ran and Himari were going with the first group while Tomoe, Moca, and Tsugumi were with the second.

It was going to be tough. They all knew that very well. One slip up could cost them everything in this plan. Being this close to a lot of organization demons was always dangerous. Especially these ones. The ones who dealt with traitors were often some of the toughest demons the organization had to offer.

"Alright. Go to your locations and wait for your respective signals." Yukina stated as they reached the area.

Everyone nodded and went to their spots. For the first group, that meant spreading out in a circle around the holding cell. The other group was going through two entrances to the jail. They split in half and went to each door.

The plan was to wait for the first group to attack. Hopefully that would draw enough attention that the second group could sneak in easily. Hopefully.

Yukina waited a few minutes and observed the area. There weren't too many demons around outside. Hopefully that meant there weren't too many here at the moment.

After a few more minutes, she raised her hand. The moment she put it down, everyone went forward. They easily took down most of the demons outside due to them being too surprised to react fast enough. The ones that came from inside were a bit tougher.

Thankfully, they had more demons and were able to tag-team the demons. Soon enough, no more demons came at them. A few of them went into the holding cell. Lisa, Ran, and Masuki went in.

"You guys are... saving us?"

"Yes. Come on." Masuki broke the lock off quite easily. It was old and rusty as was.

"But..."

"We have others going to save your other member." Lisa reassured them.

"Let's go."

They got the four demons out and met up at a spot a bit aways from the base. Yukina nodded to them all as they entered.

"Hello. What are your names?" She asked.

"I'm Kokoro!"

"Hagumi."

"...K-Kanon..."

"Kaoru."

"Have the others returned yet." Ran questioned.

Yukina shook her head, "Not yet."

"I hope Misaki is okay..." Kokoro whispered.

"Yeah..."

A few minutes later, they returned with Misaki in tow. Kokoro immediately engulfed her into a tight hug. Once she let go, Kaoru hugged her as well.

"We're all okay!" Kokoro smiled happily.

"Yeah..." Misaki mumbled, "I... wasn't expecting this."

"You guys have... somewhat the same goal we do." Yukina stated, "It would be useful for us to join forces."

"Really?" Kokoro looked at her with wide eyes.

Yukina nodded.

"Um... one thing." Kanon whispered, "Kokoro is um... a human."

"What?" No one knew how to process that information.

"Yeah... it's a very long story."

"Let's get out of here. In case anyone comes looking around and find this scene."

"Okay!"

They all headed back to Roselia's base. Everyone was struggling to process the fact that Kokoro was apparently a human and not a demon. No one knew how that was possible.

It was not something anyone was sure about asking either. Did they really want to know?

"So, how did you guys get captured?" Lisa decided to start a conversation with them while they walked.

"They found our base and swarmed us." Kokoro replied.

"That's bad... they seem to be getting better at locating everyone's bases."

"Has yours been compromised?"

"No. Almost, but not quite."

"I see..."

No one knew what to do with the new group. Did they keep them or let them go out on their own? Yukina was supposed to make the final call. She had no idea what to do.

"Yukina? You seem stressed." Rinko found her outside alone.

"I don't know what to do with the new group..." Yukina sighed, "Having a human was not part of the plan."

"It's quite impressive that she's managed to survive their annihilation." Rinko commented.

Yukina nodded, "Yeah. I wonder how she's stayed hidden so well."

"Why don't you ask?"

"I can tell they don't fully trust us. I don't want to cause any upsets if I can avoid it right now."

"I see..."

"But, hopefully we can earn their trust. Even if their group is a bit bizarre, I feel they can benefit us quite well."

"So, you're going to invite them to join us?" Rinko asked.

Yukina nodded, "Yes. I want them to join our alliance."

"Good luck. That one girl, Misaki, seems very distrustful of us."

"I know. Hopefully we can work that out."

"Yeah... hopefully."
