A few days had gone by since the last group had joined them. Kokoro had immediately accepted the offer to work with them. Now they had another group. They should be ready to start actually attacking the main base.

"I believe we have enough members to be able to launch part one of our plan. We will attack the base here. It is one of the most important ones, after all." Yukina said during a meeting.

"What do we do to start that?" Lisa questioned.

"We begin by scouting out the base. I think five would be enough. Who wants to go do that?" Yukina asked everyone in the room.

After a few minutes of discussion between everyone, they had their answer. The team would be Sayo, Tomoe, Ran, Rei, and Chisato. Everyone else would remain here and start the other prep work needed.

"Alright. I think another important thing to do would be to take out the small defense fort by that base. Three people need to scout that out too. We will take that down first." Yukina continued.

It was soon decided on that Ako, Rokka, and Eve would do that scouting mission. That fort had very few demons in it. It should be easy to spy on it without getting caught. And even if they did, they should be able to win against them.

"Finally, weapons. I want to try and get some." Yukina said, "While we mainly do fight with our claws, having weapons to attack main bases is a must."

"I can make weapons." Rui stated, "I can help with that."

"I'm good at bombs." Maya added, "We might want some of those too."

"Alright. You two will handle that. Feel free to ask anyone who is free to get materials you need." Yukina concluded, "Scouts, tomorrow you shall head out."

With the meeting over, everyone went to do their own things for now. Tomorrow everything would start. It was scary to think about. It was finally time to start their rebellion. This was it. Either they won this or they would all die trying.

Yukina went to take a walk. She sat down by a stream and stared into the water. She let out a long sigh.

"Are you alright?"

Yukina did not have to look to see who it was, "I'm fine, Sayo."

Sayo took a seat beside her, "You're worried, aren't you?"

Yukina sighed again, "I guess I am. I mean... I'm the leader. If something goes wrong, it's my fault. I'm putting everyone at risk. All of your lives are in my hands now."

"And we wouldn't want it any other way. You've proven yourself." Sayo stated, "If we didn't believe in you, why would we still be here?"

"I guess that's true. It's not like I'm keeping you here."

"And, considering you have so many organization members here, I think you're doing well. They trust you to fix the corruption."

"I hope I can." Yukina said.

They sat in silence for a while. The atmosphere was heavy. Yukina was struggling to handle all of this now.

"Yukina? Rinko seems to hang out with you a lot? Is there a reason?" Sayo asked.

Yukina stared at her for a while, before shaking her head, "No. She just decides to talk to me."

"I think she likes you."

"What?" Yukina was confused by that statement.

"The way she acts around you just makes me feel that way. Lisa actually asked me if I thought you two were dating at one point. It's not just me who sees it." Sayo explained.

"You think... she likes me?" Yukina still could not comprehend what she was being told. This was the first time those thoughts had been put in her head.

"Yeah." Sayo nodded, "I think she does."

Yukina looked back at the water, "Feelings will get in the way."

"You won't even give it a chance?"

"Sayo... this isn't the time for love. Some of us... probably won't make it. We will lose people in the fight. That'll just cause more heartbreak."

"But, won't it give you an even stronger want to survive? So that you can live to see them again?" Sayo asked.

"And if that fails to work, you're still dead."

Sayo sighed, "Alright. I won't say anything else."

Yukina stood up, "Is there someone you like?"

Sayo did not speak for quite a while. Yukina took that to mean that she did like someone. Now, would Sayo tell her who it was? Was there anyone she felt might be the answer?

"Maybe..." Sayo eventually mumbled.

"Do they know?"

"No."

"Who is it?"

Sayo took a deep breath, "I... don't want to tell you."

"Very well. I'm heading back. Are you going to come too?"

"Sure."

The two of them walked back to the house in silence. Yukina kept thinking back on their conversation. If Rinko truly did like her, what did she do about it? Should she ask her? Or would it be better to ignore it unless it came up? Yukina did not know. She had never had to deal with something like this before.

The next day, the two scout parties took off to their destinations. Yukina was very anxious to see what they would learn. She was also worried they might be spotted and attacked. It would be her fault if that happened. She sent them there.

The wait was long. That was very worrying. How long did they wait before assuming the worst? And then did they try to recover their bodies or leave them where they were? There were so many thoughts swirling around in Yukina's head. If only she had someone who could share some of this burden with her. Unfortunately the only one she could ask would be Chu2 and she did not want to do that.

"They're back!"

The first group returned from the fort. They reported everything they found to Yukina. Everything had gone well for them. No one spotted them at all during that time. That was good. It gave her more faith in the other group.

Unfortunately, that faith was shattered when they returned. They were all covered in blood. Thankfully, they all had returned. But, that meant they had been spotted.

Yukina went to them immediately, calling for Lisa and Rinko to get the medical kits. She worriedly looked them over, searching for any potentially lethal wounds.

"What happened?" She asked.

"They ambushed us. Seems like they knew we were gonna be there." Chisato replied, "Think we have a traitor amongst us."

"A... traitor..." As the words sunk in, Yukina felt her heart stop.

There was a traitor... someone here was still loyal to the organization. This was bad. This was really bad. They were going to end them. She had to find out who it was fast. But... how? There were so many here. Any one of them could potentially be the traitor. No one was safe from suspicion.

Yukina had a tough job ahead of her. She had to be fast before they managed to ruin everything. But... how? How did she do it?
