"Oh I've only been waiting 10 years to do this." Tc cupped Jordan's face and passionately kissed her until one of them needed to come up for air. This was going to be on moment that they would never forget. A moment they would tell their grandchildren. A moment they would cherish forever.

Tc and Jordan had decided they wanted a simple party where everyone was just together and having fun. A "night shift party' as they called it. A night where they were all free. A night where they could all relax and just be around one another. The decided that Kenny would be the Dj. He did do a pretty decent job at the last party.

"Welcoming for the first time Mr and Mrs Callahan. Now for their first dance as a married couple. Take the floor guys." The instrumental of a thousand years started playing as they swayed side to side. "You know your vows were quite cute tee. Did Gwen help you right them? You aren't exactly the romantic type."

"Okay one I'll let you know I wrote my own vows by myself."

"You know if someone asked me where we would be in ten years I would have never guessed here. Happily married with two children who adore you as much as I do. I would have told them they were crazy."

"Well I'm glad we ended up the way we did. I couldn't have asked for a better woman."

"I love you too Jordan." It felt as if they were the only people in the room. The music just continued to play as they looked at each other with nothing but love. They just swayed side to side until the music faded out. They then decided to sit for a while whist everyone partied. It then became time for the maid of honour and the best man to give their speeches. Of course Topher was Tc's best man and Gwen was Jordan's maid of honour. Kenny tapped a glass to signal it was time for them both to give their speeches. Gwen stands up first. "So I guess i'm going first then. Well I met Jordan in high school. She knew where she was going in life. Me on the other hand, I had no idea. It was only till I met Jordan that I got on the right path. When I first met Jordan I thought great another nerd in this class. No one I can really have a party with. Thats where she surprised me. The next day I arrived to class she was in a spice girls T-shirt to mark the release of their new single. Thats when I knew we were going to be friends. We were so into the spice girls back then-"

"Hey still into the spice girls." Jordan mimicked a conversation they had 7 and a half years ago. They gave each other a smile. No one knew or understood the joke but thats what made it so personal to them. Something they could joke about when they ended up in the nursing home together.

"Can I continue my speech now?"

"Yes go ahead."

"Anyway. Ever since Jordan decided to wear that spice girl T-shirt to school we've been friends ever since. She's my soulmate I guess. Don't worry Tc I mean platonically." At least that got the crowd laughing. "I could go on forever about everything me and Jordan have done together but I would be here forever and I don't want to bore you. So Jordan. Can you remember the first piece of advice I gave you when you saw Tc."

"Gwen no. I cant believe you still remember that."

"Jordan came to me blushing over Tc saying he was hot or something. I mean I don't see it but. I gave her one piece of advice. 'Don't get your penis where you get your pay check.' Yes I was inspired by shakesphere. But Jordan I'm so glad you didn't take my advice almost 17 years ago. Tc makes you the happiest I've ever seen you in our entire friendship. I'm so grateful that you have found each other. It only took you 10 years and two children to tie the knot and I'm so proud of how far you have come since we first met Jordan. Thank you for being my best friend. Now Tc take care of Jordan. You guys are made for each other." The room was silent. It would be a lie to say that eye was dry. Most of the tears were from Jordan. She hadn't expected Gwen's speech to be that emotional. "I'm so proud of you Gwen always. And I love you so much."

"I love you too Jordan. I guess we better let Topher have his turn. I don't know how he's going to top my speech tho."

"Oh you just wait and see."

"Okay Topher. The floor is all yours."

"So I guess we saved the best till last. So most of you know me and T served out in Afghanistan together. I had Never actually met Jordan but T would record videos of the troops dancing. It was my first day on the job. Thad had tried to show me how it was done. Little did he know that I had a background in dance. I can't remember what exactly I did and said but it was something along the lines of 'this dance floor I be hoarding to send love to you miss Jordan.' Thats when Thad had said 'Jordan is going to fall for this guy. She's never going to marry you.' Tc had already planned to marry you way before even we met. Thats when I knew you guys would end up together no matter what. You know T, Thad would be so proud of how far you have come."

"When me and T got back thats when I finally met Jordan for the first time. You could see how instantly happy both T and Jordan made each other. Jordan didn't only help T when he got back she also helped me. She has the biggest heart and that how I know she's just right for T. She loves him wholeheartedly and he loves her the exact same. When they broke up I had never seen T like it. I wont being that up here. But Jordan no matter the pain she was going though followed him down to San Antonio and didn't look back at her family and friends. Everyone could tell they loved each other but no one said anything. Tc and Jordan always work better as a team. When they told everyone they got back together and they were taking it slow. I swear I felt a sigh of relief from everyone. Everyone but you guys knew you belonged together, typical huh. You sound like one of those, what does my daughter call it, cringy couples. Jordan, I know my speech is supposed to be about me and T. But I couldn't leave my wobbie out now could I. You are my rock Jordan and I'm so happy that T actually finally had the guts to tie the knot with you. I truly couldn't think of a better person for T to settle down with. You have two beautiful children, who love their uncle Topher than their aunt Gwen right..." Elizabeth went to Gwen "Nope I 100% prefer aunt Gwen."

"Well I guess I better end my speech here. It really is a pleasure to be friends with both of you. There is a million and one stories I could tell you guys about T and Jordan but I'm going to save them for another day. So T you always relied on me, you now have your wife to rely on. I hope you guys live a full and happy life together."

"Thanks brother. For bringing up Thad. You saved my life, as well as Jordan, when I got back and thank you for that."

"T I wouldn't have it any other way. Now if you have that last 40 you owe me?"

"Not a chance."

"You got to admit tho it was worth a try." What Kenny hadn't realised is that instead of pausing the song he in fact actual had just turned it down so the playlist had been playing the whole time. The first 14 beats of "Bust a move" started playing, everyone from the night shift looked at each other. This song had become 'their song' over the years. "EVERYONE GIVE IT UP FOR THE NIGHT SHIFT". The whole team got up and just danced with each other. Gwen danced with thad and Topher with Elizabeth. They just danced the night away to whatever song that was playing. This is exactly how they had planned tonight to go. Just their family together celebrating and having fun.
