Yukina had no idea what to do. There was a traitor. Someone here wasn't loyal to their cause. Someone here could end them all so easily. She was in charge of finding them. Everyone was looking to her for help.

She was hiding in her room currently. She was unable to face anyone. She didn't know what she would say to them. Especially since she couldn't give much away. Not when she had no idea if the traitor was listening.

"Yukina?"

"Lisa..."

"You alright?"

Yukina shook her head. She was anything but alright. There was so much she had to do. So much responsibility.

"It's okay, Yukina. We'll find them." Lisa placed a hand on her shoulder, "We won't let them win."

"It's all my fault..."

"No it isn't." Lisa stated, "You couldn't have known. None of us saw this coming either. Please, don't beat yourself up over it."

Yukina sighed. She still blamed herself. There had to have been a sign she missed. Something that would have prevented this from happening to begin with.

"I don't know who I can even trust anymore..." Yukina mumbled, "Everyone is suspicious. It could be anyone here..."

"Unfortunately it could be." Lisa agreed, "Though, I'd focus on the new group. Things started once they joined, after all. It seems most likely to be one of them who is the traitor."

"How do we even start this? Questioning them won't go well if they're innocent. It will break the trust."

"Yeah... that's true..." Lisa sighed, "Maybe Chu2 knows more about them? She seems to know a lot of organization members. Maybe she's picked up on something?"

"I guess that's a start."

"Yukina!"

Ako barged into the room. Her eyes were wide in fear.

"Ako? What's wrong?" Yukina asked, standing up quickly.

"They... they found who it is..." Ako was gasping for breath, "It... it's Misaki... she... she's fled and kidnapped Tsugumi in the process."

"Misaki..." Yukina repeated, "We need to question her group. Now."

"Um... it was me and Pareo who found her. Tsugumi was with us too. Misaki... attacked us and fled with her. Pareo is... badly hurt. She... she defended me." Ako said.

Yukina sighed, "Is she being treated?"

Ako nodded, "Rinko already patched her up."

"Good. Let's go gather everyone."

Soon enough, all the groups were gathered to talk. Yukina was staring down the other four of Misaki's group with a distrustful gaze. They all seemed just as shocked about her betrayal, but Yukina couldn't be positive it wasn't just an act.

"You four swear you had no idea Misaki was working for them?" Yukina questioned.

"Yes. We had no idea." Kokoro nodded.

"She and I are dating and even I didn't know." Kaoru added, "I... don't understand..."

Yukina sighed, "Did she ever act suspicious?"

"I guess looking back, some things were weird with her. Whenever we got surrounded or attacked, they would back off once seeing her. Except for that last time." Kaoru said.

"That explains her being held in the jail instead." Lisa commented, "Because she was on their side the entire time."

"What do we do now? She stole Tsugumi." Himari questioned in worry, "We have to get her back."

Yukina nodded to her, "I know. Unfortunately that will be tough. I can only assume she's fled to the main base. Rescuing her from there will be tough. Especially now. They've probably heightened security since our last attack."

"Right..." Himari frowned.

"Our location will be compromised now." Chu2 added on, "We are not safe here any longer."

"We will have to live with it for now." Yukina responded, "We can't leave here yet."

"Um..." Sayo spoke up, "Does anyone here actually know who Misaki is?"

"She referred to herself as Michelle to the demon she was talking to." Ako stated.

Rinko and Chu2's eyes both went wide. They knew that name very well. And that wasn't a good thing at all.

"She... is considered the highest ranking spy for them." Rinko said, "She's done a lot to keep them in power."

"She's a spy? Great..." Yukina sighed, "That's the last profession we want to deal with."

"She's a lost cause, I suppose." Ran said, "She won't ever help us."

"Looks like she won't. But, we need to get Tsugumi back from her. Who knows what she may do to her." Tomoe said.

"Any ideas on how to do that?" Yukina asked.

"Hmm..." Chu2 thought it over, "I think this may be a solo or double mission. One or two go and sneak her out."

"I'm going myself." Kaoru stated, "I need to talk to Misaki... Michelle, I guess. I need answers to so much."

"Kaoru..." Kanon whispered, "Going alone isn't wise. Especially considering who you are. They probably know a lot about you since you've been with her for so long."

"I know it isn't wise. But, maybe she'll listen to me more? I... hope our relationship wasn't fake. That she actually loves me."

"If you wish to do so, I won't stop you." Yukina said, "What do you want to take with you? Any weapons?"

"Give me a knife and I'll be fine. I'll steal someone's gun along the way." Kaoru replied.

Yukina nodded, "Very well. I wish you the best."

"Thank you. I'll bring Tsugumi back, at least. Maybe I'll get Misaki too."

"Good luck."

Soon enough, Kaoru set out of the house. Now, they all just had to wait and see what would happen. Would she convince Misaki to return? Or, was it all a lost cause? Only time would tell.

"Yukina?"

"Hmm? Can I help you, Rinko?"

Later that day, Rinko approached Yukina in her room. Yukina was drawing up battle plans at the moment. They would have to rush their attack now that this had all happened.

"Can we talk?"

"Sure. Come sit." Yukina gave Rinko her attention.

Rinko sat on the bed, "Um... I... I figured maybe I should... tell you why I chose to stay after everything..."

Yukina titled her head to the side, "Was it not because of Ako?"

Rinko shook her head, "Not entirely. At first, yes, but I wasn't planning to stay long after bringing her back here. But then... I realized something else."

Yukina had a suspicion as to where this conversation was going. She had never considered that a reason for Rinko remaining here.

"What did you realize?" Yukina asked.

Rinko took a deep breath, "That I... love you."

"You... love me?" Yukina repeated, trying to act surprised.

Rinko nodded, "Yes... I... I like you."

"Well... this was not what I was expecting to hear..." Yukina mumbled, "Rinko, I'm sorry, but... I don't believe these feelings are good to act upon right now. Not with everyone going on. It'll just get in the way."

"But... but the others haven't had any issues." Rinko protested.

Yukina didn't respond. It was true. No one else in a relationship had any issues because of it. Maybe that reason wasn't valid. Maybe she was just trying to hide something else?

"I... don't know about this." Yukina said, "Being in a relationship would be different. I'm just... worried it will affect things for me."

"Please, Yukina?"

"I... fine. I guess maybe a relationship wouldn't be too bad." Yukina gave in.

She did like Rinko. So, maybe this wouldn't turn into the disaster she thought it would. She was still worried about the final fight and the strain it might put on some of them. Hopefully they would all survive, as unlikely as it sounded.
