One by one Admiral Ack-Lee asked each of the department heads if their departments were ready to go, of course they all said they were ready as they were all very eager to fight, a little too eager if you'd ask Nate. Combined with the admiral's intimating glare, made sure that the entire counsel said they were ready to fight, of course if one of them wasn't ready yet they'd still go to battle and they'd simply be ordered to hurry it up.
Soon Nate started speed walking down the hall to the engine room, hoping that Dale and the others had finished up by now as there'd be a roll call in a few minutes and Nate didn't want to be the one who delays this ship full of battle eager soldiers. "There you go, good as new" Dale said right as Nate walked into engineering, still trying to attach his headset in preparation for the inevitable roll call, Chee perked his head up and looked Nate dead in the eyes. He didn't say anything but the look on his face was enough, it was a mixture of joy, excitement and utter terror which send chills down Nate's spine, then Ethan looked up saw Nate fiddling with the device on his head and said "that bad, huh" Nate simply nodded looked to Dale and asked "did you guys manage to find the anomaly?" I'm not sure we have, we've replaced the component that was malfunctioning according to the scan, but it looks fine to me, Dale said pacing around they're little quarter of engineering and then presenting the component.

Nate suddenly stopped mid-sentence, pressed a button on the side of his headset and said "ready" before pressing the button again.
