Chapter fourteen: The plan?

POV: Charlie

Charlie, Nathan and Ryan were still in Laia's office.

Laia: Ryan, you did most the work?

Ryan: Yeah.

Laia: But why?

Ryan: They couldn't do it without me.

Nathan: That's not true!

Charlie: No that's true.

Laia: But they were supposed to do it right.

Charlie: Aren't you happy it's gone?

Laia: Yes…

Laia: It's still not what I imagined though.

Charlie: Imaginations aren't real.

Charlie: Come on Nathan let's get out of here.

Charlie and Nathan walked out the guild.

Nathan: So what now?

Charlie: Uh, I guess we're done here.

Nathan: So we go home?

Charlie: I hope, at least that's how it goes in the games at least.

POV: Jeak

Jeak was heading down his elevator after Ronald told him to go talk to Void.

Jeak walked up to Void.

Void: Oh there you are, why did you two walk away?

Jeak: We, took a break.

Void: Oh.

Jeak: Void?

Void: Yes.

Jeak: Why are you digging that fast.

Void: Uh… what about it?

Jeak: It is a bit fast is it not.

Void: Is it? How fast are you digging?

Jeak: Well the ground got a bit hard so it is not going very fast.

Void: But how fast is it going.

Jeak: Maybe a few millimeters a time.

Void: Hey, why don't you leave it to me and go back, if it goes too slow it won't help.

Jeak went back inside his tower and went up the elevator.

Jeak: We will just stay here okay?

POV: Charlie

Nathan: So what do we do now? I kinda wanna get out of here now?

Nathan: Yes so what do we do.

Charlie: We need to find a portal back to our dimension.

Nathan: That's cliché.

Nathan: Where do we find a portal?

Charlie: Somewhere.

Charlie: Center of this planet.

Nathan: Well fuck, how will we get there.

Charlie: Oh and, it only appears if someone from another dimension opens it.

Nathan: Great even more cliché.

Charlie: Shut up.

Nathan: So guess we are stuck here.

Charlie: No, there's a way.

Nathan: What is it.

Charlie: Praying.

Nathan: No.

Charlie: Fair.

Nathan: Okay but in all seriousness, what is the plan here.

Charlie: The plan here.

Nathan: Fuck off.

Charlie: We hope that someone comes over.

Nathan: What's the chance of that.

Charlie: Hope, hope.

Nathan: And if that happens what do we do.

Nathan: We hop on?

Charlie: Yes, or if that doesn't work.

Nathan: Then?

Charlie: I don't know I didn't think that far ahead.

Nathan: Dangit.

Nathan: How do you even know if they will let us come?

Charlie: We don't know, we ask, but they gotta come first.

Nathan: How will we have them come.

Charlie: We can't.

Nathan: So we are stuck?

Charlie: I guess.

Nathan: Okay so killing.

Charlie: No don't, it's probably gonna go well in the end.

Nathan: Cliché.

POV: Ryan

Ryan walked out of Laia's office and went back to his and Spynt's room.

Ryan: That could've been worse, I just hope this doesn't happen again.

Ryan opened the door and went inside.

Spynt: Hey Ryan, where did you go? I didn't see you when Laia called.

Ryan: Yeah I was doing other stuff.

Spynt: But it was dangerous right?

Ryan: It's gone now right?

Spynt: Yes.

POV: Charlie

Nathan: So uh, how do we get to the center of this planet.

Charlie: Walk in a circle around it try and make it bigger.

Nathan: Well that sounds time consuming and inefficient.

Charlie: Oh, that's because it is.

Nathan: So what is the best way to do it then?

Charlie: Know what way the center is.

Nathan: How would we know though?

Charlie: Well I was thinking maybe Win knows, I was gone leave them here but just now I thought maybe he can still help.

Nathan: Well that's just great.

Charlie: Yeah.

Nathan: I'm somehow disappointed.

Charlie took Win out of sleep mode.

Win: Hello!

Charlie: Oh boy here he is.

Charlie: Um, hi Win, do you know what way the center of this planet is?

Win: At a latitude and longitude of zero.

Nathan: Woah I wouldn't have guessed that.

Charlie: Yeah but what way is it.

Win: South-east.

Charlie: Wow such precision.

Charlie turned put Win back into sleep mode.

Charlie: You heard it let's go.

Nathan: Shouldn't we first get some stuff before we depart.

Charlie: Yes, more to carry very cool, maybe also figure out which way is north.

Nathan: I say we wait until tomorrow, so we can use the sun.

Charlie: Okay but who said the sun works the same way as back home.

Nathan: Let's just try at least.

POV: Jeak

Ronald: He sure is digging isn't he?

Jeak: Yes of course, why would he not?

Ronald: Because everyone deserves a break.

Jeak went to the elevator to go back down.

Ronald: Where, are you going?

Jeak: Going to get void.

Ronald: Why?

The elevator was already heading back down.

Jeak walked to void, who was still digging.

Jeak: Hey void.

Void: Yes.

Jeak: Could you come?

Void: Uh, sure, what for?

Jeak: I want to discuss some plans.

Void dropped his shovel and went up the hole.

Void: Okay.

Jeak and Void went up the elevator.

Ronald was still up there waiting for Jeak to return.

Ronald: There you are!

Jeak: Yes here I am.

Ronald: What did you get Void for, he was doing just fine.

Jeak: We want to discuss some plans.

Ronald: Okay.

Jeak: Um, Void so when we get this 'pure dark energy' what do we do next.

Void: We go to their world.

Jeak: How?

Ronald: But how do we know in what world they are.

Void: Oh, I do.

Ronald: Well, that simplifies things I guess.

Jeak: How do we get there.

Void: Oh we open a portal here.

Jeak: Then we go through.

Void: Well no, we don't know where they are so we just open a portal in the middle of the planet.

Jeak: In the core?

Jeak: Are you insane!?

Void: No no, on land of course I can't open the portal in the middle of mass.

Jeak: Oh well.

Ronald: What do we do if something goes through the portal.

Void: We put glass in front of it or something.

Jeak: That sounds inefficient, where would we get it anyway.

Void: I'll make sure we have it.

Jeak: Okay then.

Void: I'm going to dig again, if you don't mind.

Jeak: No, of course not the faster we get this done the better right?

Void: Agreed.

Void went back into the elevator.

Well there's another chapter for you kinda cliché in my opinion but gotta get it out of the way somehow, it's also summer vacation here now so maybe I'll get more done no promises though.
