Me: Hey, guys. I'm finally back. Sorry I haven't been active.

Callie: That's OK, we heard your dad died last year.

Marie: Are you doing okay now?

Me: Yeah. I'm taking antidepressants and I'm meeting a depression counselor monthly. Lately I have been feeling much better thanks to the pills. Which is why I'm writing this story. I hope you enjoy it.

After beating the boss, Crash, Coco, Crunch and Aku Aku looked at six the sunken scrolls they found. The fourth scroll had a picture of eight inklings gathered together similar to turf war styles. It read:

This scroll was found in a deep rock layer, its age estimated at approximately 2,000 years. It details the ancient Turf Wars of the time. It seems the basic four-versus-four battle format had already been established at this stage.

"So basically four vs. four turf war wasn't always the battle method," Coco said.
"They say the battles were only one vs. one, but it didn't work out after a while," Emilie said. "It made inklings disappointed to not play with battle partners." The fifth scroll showed a demonstration of an inkling's anatomy. It read as follows:

The terrifying Biology of the Inkling!

Limbs: Can leap up 1.5 m Brain: Simple and hedonistic Bones: None Eyes: can spot prey from 100m away Defense: High pressure, high capacity ink sac

"So inkling have no bones," Crunch said. "That must explain how inklings don't get hurt from jumping down."
"It's something our ancestors had, too," Emilie said. The sixth scroll showed an article with a picture of an octarian speaker. It read:

The Department of Energy have announced that further declines in the availability of electric power are likely to occur in the near future. With the underground domes also deteriorating rapidly, the future does not look bright.

"Maybe that's why the octarians are stealing the Zapfish," Aku Aku said.
"Yeah, that would explain why they are guarding the small ones," Emilie said. The seventh scroll showed a picture of all the colors that is used in turf war. It read:

The ink sprayed during a turf war vanishes almost immediately after the battle ends. How environmentally friendly...and incredibly convenient.

"I wonder how this is possible," Coco said.
"No one knows how, but it's still very interesting," Emilie said. The eighth scroll just showed two octarians that looked like Adam and Eve, with the picture credited 'Paradise Lost' by Octolangelo. The inklings were fascinated by this picture. The ninth and final scroll showed a picture of two different kinds of Octolings. One was the ones seen before the second boss and the other had kelp on its head. This scroll said:

It seems some octarians can assume a humanoid form. These specimens have superior physical capabilities, and are highly aggressive. High ranking individuals have kelp on their heads. But what motivates them, if anything at all?

"Maybe they have some kind of control device with them," Crunch said.
"Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if that was true," Emilie said. Cap'n Cuttlefish congratulated the team again, but then strange crackles were heard. Emilie was confused, but figured it must have been that the team was close to somewhere that the octarians use communication. So the team moved on. Once again, before the boss, Octolings appeared. So the team fought the Octolings until they got the Zapfish. The boss was what Emilie thought of as a weird giant rolling ball. To expose the tentacle, the team had to spread ink in the boss' path. After getting the Zapfish, Cap'n Cuttlfish congratulated Emilie and the team again and not to worry about getting the Great Zapfish, he was going in. But then, a loud booming voice was heard, yelling the captain's name. Emilie yelled into the comunicator of what was happening, but all was silent.

Me: Uh oh! Looks like something happened. Like I said, I'm feeling better, so I'll make sure to complete this, make its sequel, and complete NiGHTS into Dreams Retold. Don't forget to review.
