Percy POV:I was just going to the store to get groceries when he saw the jewelry store. I have been thinking about popping the question for a few weeks now but I don't know how to do it. I went in just to look but, I felt like I just had to get one. I really want to ask and I want to spend the rest of my life with her, so I got the ring she always looks at in the magazines. It was so beautiful, it was a huge grey diamond just like Annabeth's eyes. Annabeth's ring size was a six so I had to wait until Saturday for the next ones to come in (it's Tuesday) I IMed Posieden because I needed the coral reef to be full of fish and have lights and of course my dad got all of the mermaids to fix the reef. I was going to make dinner and propose underwater right where we had our first kiss when we got thrown in the water after the Titan War. Grover helped me set up the table after I went to pick up the ring, when Annabeth got back to camp after work Grover told her to get ready for a date and meet Percy at the dock. I put on a suit with a green tie Piper picked that matched my eyes.
Annabeth POV: I asked Grover about the date but he wouldn't tell me anything, I put on a strapless teal dress, put makeup on, and Piper did my hair but of course she wouldn't tell me anything either. When I got to the dock there was a candle lit table and BLUE PANCAKES. Percy was standing there in a suit and I was surprised he didn't wear a t-shirt and jeans like always. We sat down and I smiled so happy because we haven't been on a real date in months, after the pancakes Percy said that we needed to go to the water. Then he immediately picked me up and jumped in the water, then he made us an air bubble. I was initially mad at him for pulling me in and I was yelling at him but he interrupted me with a passionate kiss that lasted for a few minutes. But then we pulled away to get some air, he then swam us down to the coral reef which was covered with lights and full of fish.
Percy POV: Annabeth was so surprised about what I had done for one date but little did she know it would be perfect. I pulled the velvet ring box out of my pocket when she wasn't looking, and got down on my knee. Well I tried it is really hard in a bubble. She turned around and I said, Annabeth I have loved you ever since I first saw you when we were 12, now that we are 20 I wanted to ask you Annabeth Chase will you marry me and make me the happiest man alive. " Of course I will Seaweed Brain, I have been waiting for 8 years!" Annabeth said. Then we just went back to my cabin and she finally got to stay the night with me. This was probably the best day of my life.
