Later on the same day, Sly tried to explain to Murray that the new 1958 Plymouth Fury car that they had gotten from Jerome the rabbit was haunted. Murray refused to believe in what Sly had to say about his new car that he just got.
"You're just jealous because I have a new car and nobody else has a car like mine!" Murray said to Sly.
"I'm not jealous of your new car at all, Murray." Sly said to his hippo friend. "All I'm saying was that the car was driving all by itself."
"That's not possible!" Murray said to Sly. "That's beyond possible."
"If you can't take my word for it, then take Carmelita's word for it." Sly said to Murray.
"Wait, Carmelita saw my car drive all by itself while you were in the passenger seat?" Murray asked Sly.
"Yes." Sly said. "Carmelita said that she saw your car drive really fast all by itself, with nobody at the wheel."
Sly's statement shook Murray to the core. That convinced him that Sly was telling the truth when he said that his new car was possessed by a supernatural force. Jerome was maybe right when he told Sly and Murray that the 1958 Plymouth Fury was possessed by a spirit. He wasn't just saying something crazy.
"Where the hell is that demonic car? I want to obliterate it forever!" Murray asked Sly.
"I gave the car to Carmelita." Sly said to Murray. "I figured it was the least I could do for Carmelita."
"Great! Now we have an Interpol officer with a demonically possessed car." Murray said.
"We should try and stop Carmelita from driving the car." Sly said.
"How are we going to do that?" Murray asked his raccoon friend.
"I don't know." Sly said. "Let's just hope that Carmelita doesn't get into a terrible accident in that car."
Meanwhile, Carmelita Montoya Fox was having the time of her life joyriding the old 1958 Plymouth Fury car that she had gotten from Sly. Her brother Felipe was in the passenger seat. He was listening to rock music on his CD player. His fox son Justin and his sister Viola were in the backseat. The little fox boy was playing a game on his Gameboy Advance. Viola was eating a Western Bacon cheeseburger. The fox children were pretty. Carmelita was in her home country of Spain. She was visiting her family. The vixen was driving the car. Felipe stared off into space.
The vulpine eventually put his CD player away. Felipe craned his neck to look at his daughter. Viola was eating her cheeseburger. All of a sudden, Viola started to choke on a piece of her cheeseburger. Felipe was horrified when he saw his daughter suddenly choke on her cheeseburger. He told his sister to stop the car. The orange vulpine tried to unlock the door. The car door refused to open. Justin came to her sister's ad and preformed the Heimlich Maneuver on the little vixen. The Heimlich Maneuver worked on the little vixen. Felipe's passenger side seat suddenly began to move forward slowly. The seat was moving by itself.
Carmelita was shocked to see her brother in peril. The seat stopped moving after a few seconds. All of a sudden, a girl's voice said, "You shouldn't have bought this car. This was the car that I died in."
The entire Fox family were beyond shocked upon hearing the little girl's voice. There was no one in the car besides them. The Fox family froze in shock.
"My name is Christine LeBay." The little girl's voice said. "I died in this car in the year 1959 from choking on a hamburger. You need to travel back in time to the year 1978 and prevent a human named Arnie Cunningham from buying it from my uncle George."
Suddenly, the red 1958 Plymouth Fury car was plucked from the country of Spain and it warp itself into a garage. The family of foxes had no idea that they were just been teleported to the year 1978 in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The family of foxes immediately got out of the car. The family of foxes were now human beings. Carmelita's skin was light tan. She still kept her blue hair that she always had. Her brother was Caucasian. Felipe had short red hair. Justin and Viola were also Caucasian. The family of humans walked out of the garage. They walked down the driveway. They saw a 1977 Toyota car pull up into the driveway. The Fox family were about to meet Arnie Cunningham and his friend Dennis Guilder. This would be the moment that would change Carmelita's family's lives forever.
