This story had been canceled for two reasons because of my English and I was depressed but now I am receiving help from both media.
I must warn everyone who has not seen the story before that I implant, modify, change and delete a lot of things from the original story.
One of them is that the gods of Falmart do not exist, although you do not worry about Rory appears but it will be very different, so say goodbye to the Loli who had pleasure when someone died ... the creator of the manga took drugs, that is the only explanation that I have about that.
there will be some references to other fantasy worlds, mostly magical materials although there will not be many.
This story will not be for everyone because of the difference if you do not like it perfect but do not come to insult unnecessarily
We always thought that if we were faced with some kind of alien incursion, they would come from the sky.
We were wrong.
A week ago, a portal was opened in the most important city of our nation, bringing with it invaders with powers we thought existed only in fantasy for the sole purpose of conquering and destroying everything we hold dear.
It was only through the sacrifice of thousands of our brave soldiers that the invaders were repelled back to where they came from.
Now we must fight, no matter how much it costs, no matter how many we have to sacrifice, we will win this war. For this is justice.
- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe, a week after the "First Contact", 2019
Special Region
Falmart was one of the 3 continents of this strange world. It was the size of Eurasia and had a diversity that would be impossible for any other world, be it animals or intelligent beings.
In the Southeast of the continent, a species of bipedal reptiles called Argonians were living under human domination, waiting for an opportunity to become independent again and forge their own destiny.
In the snow and winter mountain regions, a species of wolf-like humanoid called Volraden flourished. They were strong, agile and resistant to low temperatures.
In the south, a humanoid species with some rabbit characteristics called Warrior Bunny that 150 years ago spread across the continent like a plague, establishing an empire that still endured to this day despite many enemies.
In the vast western desert, there were many humanoid beings with feline characteristics that lived in relative calm in coastal places, where you can see great pyramids of a civilization forgotten in time.
There were more species in this world, some similar, so different, but they all had something in common. That was they could use magic. A force that had existed since the beginning of time.
Magic was an extremely powerful and versatile energy that could do the impossible thus having a great influence on history.
It was magic that helped a few nations rose to dominance, those countries that were feared and hated by all, were simply called the Triple Alliance.
The Greater Sadera Empire: the empire forged by man, the largest empire in Falmart, (almost as big as the Mongol Empire) led by Emperor Molt Sol Augustus.
The United Kingdom of Beleriand: the empire of the elves, ruled by Empress Yvraine, who conquered the entire western part of the continent. They were responsible for the Renaissance era of this world and were a powerful magical race.
The Confederation of Hekur : an empire created by dwarves who conquered part of the north and part of the east, led by King Durin IV. They were responsible for gunpowder and were the creators of perhaps the deadliest being in combat known as iron gollems.
Those were three mighty empires that had conquered almost the entire continent, which in many circumstances would have made them eternal enemies, but fate had other plans, thus they had to leave their differences to survive past events.
The Triple Alliance, although different in many ways, had something in common: greed.
They wanted more power, resources and territory. Even having considerable colonies on the other continent in the north of the world, on the continent called Ulthos thanks to the creation of the galleon, was not enough to satisfy them, they wanted much more.
That was why the rulers of the Triple Alliance planned an invasion through the GATE, a strange structure that opens randomly from time to time, which was responsible for bringing a large number of new races into the world. ANd now thanks to the wizards and the studying a particular branch of magic, the Triple Alliance could keep one of those portals stable for an invasion.
For decades they had been prepared for this. The Triple Alliance knew they could face some powerful enemies, so they prepared for a long fight so that even if there were some serious opposition, they would most likely be quickly suppressed.
When it was thought that they were ready for the invasion, they waited for a GATE to appear in the world, which was predictable because before manifesting there were certain signs that warned of its appearance.
The Alliance didn't know that this decision would forever change the fate of their empires and the world.
On the road to Alnus Hill, Falmart, Tuka Luna Marceau
Why? That question was constantly in Tuka head as she moved with the troops of the Saderan Empire, classified as an auxiliary soldier thanks to her abilities. Tuka honestly never thought that she would be chosen, the possibilities were few considering the size of the empire. Tuka was the unlucky one, although it could also be the will of the gods, something that no one could change.
I didn't want to be on the expedition, I didn't want glory or fame, I just wanted to be with my family, with my father and my sister.
It was a long march and while they were still advancing, Tuka could see the other armies, the western Elves in their yellow armor in excess of detail and the dwarves in their robust white armor. There were so many soldiers that it seemed impossible that anything could stop them.
It was a long march and while they were still advancing, Tuka could see the other armies, the Western Elves in their overly detailed yellow armor and the dwarves in their robust white armor. There were so many soldiers that it seemed impossible that anything could stop them.
Tuka could even see beings that she had never seen before like giant spiders, fire salamanders, wyvern of different colors and strange iron beings that somehow seemed to have life. While Tuka was looking at these monsters in detail, a roar forced her to look up at the sky and what she saw left her frozen.
They were fire dragons ...
Two legendary dragons, the most fearsome creatures in the world and they would be used by the Triple Alliance for this war, they were red and from what little she could see, they wore what looked like black armor in many sectors of their body. It was surely some special magical material.
"The poor people on the other side of the Gate don't stand a chance," Tuka muttered in a low voice with a hint of sadness, for those who were about to die.
Alnus Hill, Falmart, Imperial calendar, year 687
The sun once again rose to shine on the Holy Hill of Alnus, as the mages prepared to fulfill their mission.
The troops from their respective nation were preparing for the most important moment of their life. They would cross the GATE and bring glory and wealth to their nations, the morale was high and it was impossible to lose.
The expeditionary army consisted of 200,000 soldiers, many of whom had magical abilities, thousands of professional combat mages, 90,000 battle beasts, many of which had unique abilities, hundreds of dwarf cannons and 2 legendary dragons. With all of that, victory was certain, it no mattered who was the enemy on the other side.
When everything was almost ready for the campaign, one of the generals stood in front of the army to say a few words, this individual had a golden armor made of a material called Złoto that had special properties that intensifies magical powers.
He was an elf named Fafner, he was a prodigy, a being with exceptional magical powers, supposed to represent the apostles of gods in the mortal world with the ability to kill thousands of soldiers by himself.
"Soldiers of the Triple Alliance, you represent the pinnacle of the civilizations of this world, of the powerful empires that have survived everything that opposed them. And now, you will fulfil your mission by bringing a new era of conquest.
"Our explorers told us that our objective is a kingdom called Japan. They are a weak republic that will certainly fall before our feet.
"Remember, first we must conquest, pillage can wait latter and the history books will remember us as the great conquerors."
All the soldiers shouted with great excitement.
"Wow, it seems that someone was quite inspiring." said sarcastically the human general named Tiberius when Fafner returned to the temporary base on the hill.
"Speeches can boost morale a lot, for a campaign of conquest, especially this one that will not be easy at all," Fafner said with a hint of anger.
Tiberius laughed a bit before speaking again. "Do you really think those barbarians could challenge us?"
"They are not barbarians" said a voice that made both of them look towards, the dwarf general Thorin
"They dress dress in expensive clothes, their buildings are huge as well as majestic, they have metallic structures that move without horses and can illuminate the night with magic fire" said Thorin.
"No matter how majestic or beautiful their cities are, when they are under our feet, all their knowledge will be ours." the human general said with arrogance, he believed in a victory that would make him a legend.
Fafner said nothing but sighed, Tiberius was underestimating his enemy, which should never be done even when victory seemed certain.
At first nothing was known about the other side until they sent explorers through temporary portals, something that was difficult, fortunately being close to the GATE made it easy. Thanks to the ability to become invisible and to make people sleep, it was possible to capture some people at night and question them.
The nation they would invade called Japan, it was a republic which was quite interesting because the Saderan in Falmart were also a republic at the beginning until they became corrupt and almost doomed the empire.
Many at first expected a big fight but from the information gathered, it seemed that Japan was a weak country because more than 70 years ago they lost a war and they could no longer have a normal army. They could only have defensive troops.
Tiberius mocked them, saying it was a pathetic country, but something inside Fafner told him that was not true. It didn't matter anyway, the army was ready and the invasion was about to begin.
