2. Chapter 2

New Life

2 years , I'm so sorry I lost the computer with that second chapter of A New Life. This is my Redemption for this story.

Kotoko when to her room in a strange house because she wanted to be closer to her father. But moving away from the academy also didn't help when she was playing the piece that was one of her favourites she was not ready for all that emotion. Closing the door to her quarter in the new house felt so bizarre. She misses her maid, she has been there since she started school and they didn't even talk about what school she will be going here. She is now an Orphan with a vast amount of money. But her father always was ready in case of his death, but on till today she has never opened the will letter that he wrote to her. All she knew in case something would now do happen he have Uncle Irie to be my guardian with his wife that was always mentioned. But looking at her luggage that have that letters she was already in tears and had been so broken since his death.

Would she have the courage to open that letter? She even asks herself that question. But it's been 2 weeks she thought "Father" whispering and when to comfortable bed and open the letter that's was explaining everything.

My dear loving daughter,

I'm so sorry to leave you alone at this moment, I understand you're in school and you loved your school, you may have noticed that my health was not getting better by any time, I was not trying to worry you but, I had cancer and it's was an terminal cancer that why I send you one the best school for you to have a family and also have advice your uncle to bring you back in Tokyo as soon I was gone. I want the best for you when you been five me and Irie's have made for you to have the best life. You see daughter i didn't want you to have an empty future without me so at the age of 8 you may remember I presented you to one of their boys name Naoki Irie you and he were supposed to meet in high school and we would have moved to there household when you had to start High School but since I was getting sicker, the plan has changed and I send you to all Female Academie since I didn't want for you see me sick.

Because of it, the plan has changed but their house was built for us to move in. It's really hard for me to say this in this letter but you're Engaged in Naoki Irie. I understand it would be a shock but that is why your uncle would pick you up ask for you to move with him. Daughter, I chose him because I know you have the best of life and also, I wanted for you to be living happy and also financially secure. I hope you will forget me for doing this. But that is my wish. Would grand you father the peace of mind in heaven. I know you might read this letter after whatever happened to me but know that I wanted the best for you. I love you Daughter. Don't cry that much for me. Mother and I will always be with you.

In the envelope had the Engagement paper, the medical history of her father, more stuff about the money and stuff that she should give to her uncle to see. The tears were flowing and she was getting so tired. Would she be followed what her father wanted? Already Engaged that why she was sent to a girls academy. So he could pick what her father want the best for her. That night she felt a night of sleep in her uniform and hug the letter to her chest all night.

That how's her Aunt found her in the morning holding the letter, she close the door and call her husband. "Airaha was right she never read the letter at school, that is why she was crying all night, luckily the academy where Naoki and she is starting have put her on leave for the funeral." She looked at the door "Poor thing knowing about the truth about her father, then the engagements, I will let her sleep and you should have a talk with Naoki about it" she says and then goes into the kitchen to prepare everyone's breakfast. She looked at her oldest son, "Your father would like for you to miss school he would like for you to go and help him for Airaha Funeral, the school understand but Yuki could leave school at lunchtime since the funeral is tonight."

The tall boy look at his mother "Have you woken her up yet ?" he asks her mother looking at her schedule that used to be her school one, "she barely slept last night I will let her get some rest, that why would ask for you to help with the funeral, I will be staying with her and try to be there for her for today." His mother has asked so he could not refuse and also that his father as to help him miss a day of school when he top of the class. Naoki change from the rich academy school that he was put in last year since his father and Ahiara had told them that he would be meeting her soon. The family has been talking cared of is Uncle Aihara for almost an year after his cancer was declared terminal. He knew that his father and his Uncle had planned to have Him and his uncle's daughter marry. But now that Shegio was dead he would have to keep the promise he did a couple of months ago to his uncle.

To be there for his daughter, and also give her the best life he could. He was a bit sad that he had to meet his future wife like that but the fact that she try to play the piano again when his uncle told them about her talent, was sweet. He change to somewhat professional clothes and call a car so he could meet his father at his office.

An; I might be writing this every month or when I'm free. But this is not an abandoned story I just need a bit of time since I'm in school and found my plot for this story I'm in school so that why I would like to finish this story :) once again sorry for the long delay.
