Sayaka's POV
I was standing on the main door of the school waiting for the rain to stop. While waiting, I tried to catch the raindrops in same position as it flows on my hand. As I continued to do that, suddenly, "Saeki-senpai." I stopped catching the raindrops then turned around and see Koito Yuu-san, my kouhai holding an umbrella. "Did you forgotten your umbrella, Saeki-senpai?", she asked. "Yes... I think I left it at home, Koito-san." I replied. "It's been almost an hour waiting for it to stop but... I don't want it to stop.", I added. "Why is that?", Koito-san asked. "I like rain.", I answered her. Both of us have gone silent as she opened her umbrella. "We can share this umbrella together, Saeki-senpai. You're probably tired of waiting for the rain to stop.", she offered. "If it's fine for you, Koito-san, why not?", I replied as I entered under her umbrella.
As we walked towards home under the rain, she broke the silence. "Saeki-senpai, why do you like the rain?", she asked. "As I watch the rain on my window, it feels like my worries and problems washed away as if removes those. It always makes me feel calm as I drink coffee while watching it.", I answered. "Hmm... Is that so.",she said. "How about you, Koito-san? Do you like the rain?", I asked. "Hmm... I cannot say that I like it or dislike it, but... while playing baseball during middle school, I don't like it. It makes us players wet because of it.", she replied. "That's very unfortunate, Koito-san.", I commented. "Indeed, Saeki-senpai.", she agreed. "Well, it has it's own advantages and disadvantages." I added. Both of us have gotten silent for while while walking on the route towards my home.
"Thank you for sharing your umbrella today, Koito-san." I said while giving her a bow as we arrived on my home. "You're welcome, Saeki-senpai. Make sure you bring your umbrella next time!" Koito-san replied. I waved goodbye to her and entered my house.
Yuu's POV
Even if it was short, I can feel Saeki-senpai's feelings while having a conversation with her. She is like a melancholic lady which I have read on a book which is the character I admire. At least, I finally got to know what Saeki-senpai is like. I wish for her own happiness in life.
