Sun-sei was standing in front of the class holding a register.
"Okay, reply if you're present. Mercury-chan?"
A small girl with short grey hair and a plaster on her face but not on the other scratches on her almond skin punched the air.
"Ready Master!"
"Venus -chan?" Venus-chan gave a mix between a humpf and a grunt, too busy checking her messages on her new phone to bother giving a proper reply.
"Okay then, Earth-chan?"
"Here Sun-sei." Earth-chan replied cheerily.
"And Mars-chan."
"Present."
"Well, I think that's everyone."
"You forgot about me!" Everyone turned to the squeaky voice at the back of the room, where a small girl with short, very bright red hair sat.
"Oh? And what is your name then little one?" Sun-sei asked.
"My name is Vulcun-chan, I just arrived today, but the paperwork hasn't come through yet."
"Oh, is that so? Well, I guess I'd better mark you present, it's good to see you again."
"Huh?" Vulcun-chan started to look worried.
"If memory serves me right, you were expelled ooh…about 200 years ago…" Sun-sei started walking towards the new planet. "Who are you really?"
"Umm…well…" 'Vulcun-chan' tried to stand up, only for her 'legs' to snap in half causing the tiny girl to stumble back to the floor, her bright red wig falling over her face, the interloper sat there for a moment before starting to cry.
"Urgh, again? Earth-chan why can't you keep your girlfriend out of trouble?" Venus-chan commented.
"She's not my girlfriend, she's my best friend."
"And I'm not?!" Mars-chan replied.
"Okay that's enough. Earth-chan can you please return our little friend here back to her classroom."
"Yes Sun-sei, okay then come along then." Earth-chan picked up the little girl in her arms, removing the stilts on her legs, before carrying the sobbing girl out of the classroom.
"NO! I WANT TO STAY WITH YOU EARTH-CHAN!" the little girl wailed before declining into loud sobbing, as the two of them left the classroom.
"Seriously" Sun-sei said sighed, "Why does she do this every week?"
