Mercury-Chan was sitting on the ground against a wall in a fetal position. "Why?"

Mercury-Chan was lying flat on the floor holding onto Venus-Chan's leg, tears stinging her eyes. "Don't leave me!" Venus-Chan didn't look bothered in the slightest.

"You never do as your told, you're always going off and never get the right thing that I ask you for, sorry, I've had enough of your insolence."

"No! If you leave me, I'll be all alone…!"

"Good, maybe you'll realise how much of a friend I really was."

Mercury-Chan lowered her head into her legs again and tried her best to not cry, which was failing miserably.

"Hello there little one, is something the matter?" Mercury-Chan sniffled a bit before looking up, she had to squint her eyes a bit before she could make out the outline of the tall figure in front of her, her whole aura was that of an angel, with her sweet smile and her warm motherly demeanour.

"S-Sun-sei?"

"Are you okay Mercury-Chan? Do you want to talk about it?" Mercury-Chan started sobbing again, she hadn't known anyone who had cared so much about her before.

"I'm…I'm all alone…"

"No-one is ever alone Mercury-Chan."

"B-But, I don't have any sisters, or cousins, and my best friend just dumped me." Sun-sei was quiet for a bit before saying.

"Well, if that's the case, I'll be your friend Mercury-Chan." Mercury-Chan stared up into Sun-sei's eyes.

"R-really?"

"Of course." Sun-sei handed Mercury-Chan a folder from the mass of folders from under her arm. "Could you help me deliver this Mercury-Chan." Mercury-Chan was a bit hesitant at first, but she was reassured when Sun-sei said. "I'm relying on you, Mercury-Chan." With that Sun-sei started walking towards the headmaster's office. Mercury-Chan smiled; she'd just been given another chance, and she was going to do her upmost to help Sun-sei as best she could.

"I won't let you down, sun…no, master!"

A couple of days later

Earth-Chan and Mars-Chan were sitting on a bench in the cafeteria, Earth-Chan drinking a bottle of water, Mars-Chan drinking some powdered milk. "Hey" Earth-Chan asked, "Is it me or does Mercury-Chan seem pretty close to Sun-sei these last couple of days?" The two of them looked ahead of them where Mercury-Chan had practically cornered Sun-sei against the cafeteria wall.

"Is there anything I can help you with, Master?" Sun-sei looked rather flustered.

"I-I'm afraid there isn't anything you can help me with Mercury-Chan." Then she added in a whisper "Could you stop calling me master please?" Mercury-Chan however didn't seem to hear her.

"I'll help you with any task master! No Matter how trivial!"

"U-Um…okay then, c-could you…" Sun-sei quickly fumbled in her pockets until she found something. "Uh…look after this paperclip for me?" she nervously laughed. Mercury-Chan daintily grasped the ordinary paperclip in her hand like it was the most precious thing in Universe City.

"Do not fear master! I shall guard this with my life!" She exclaimed.

"Y-you don't have to go that far Mercury-Chan".

Meanwhile across the room the two planets watched on with deadpan expressions. "Yeah" Mars-Chan commented "She does."
