Chapter 4: Invasion?!

Stands-

Today was the day, it was the chunin exams finals, where only the best of the best fought to win the title of chunin. In the stands, hundreds of adults, ninja, and children sat waiting for the spectacular show that was about to take place. Also in the stands, Kabuto Yakushi, a ninja of Otogakure, and Orochimaru's right-hand man was anxious like many others from Sunagakure and Otogakure, because of the invasion that he was going to take place in. Pushing his glasses in place, he eyed Naruto Uzumaki, his lord and master's future vessel, 'I don't know why Orochimaru-sama even marked him, aside from the Kyuubi and Kage Bunshin, he is practically useless, he has little to no talent, he is the dead-last of his grade, and he does not even wear proper shinobi attire. Sasuke-kun would have made a much better host.'

Kage Booth-

Orochimaru disguised as the Kazekage, Rasa was contemplating the way this invasion would go and how he would get Naruto to leave the village before an idea popped into his head 'That's it! I will get the Sound Four to escort him back to my hideout, and then manipulate him by telling him of his treatment in Konoha and how no one would ever want him there.' He also knew of Naruto's thirst for knowledge on the subject of the Kyuubi attack, and how much he wanted to know the truth, the whole thing, no matter how much the blonde shinobi tried to hide it, He licked his lips, which did not go unnoticed by the Sandaime Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi who was slightly perturbed by this action. Though he did not do or say anything about it.

Finalist's Section-

Some of the finalists were in front of their sensei's for last-minute information, while others like Naruto were sitting down thinking of information, well in Naruto's case he was thinking about ramen and some other darker thoughts influenced by his curse mark. That was when the proctor called "Attention everyone! Naruto Uzumaki V.S Neji Hyuga! Are you ready?!" Naruto and Neji calmly walked towards the Arena stage, they entered and quickly answered the proctor's question with a 'yes' "Alright then! Naruto Uzumaki V.S Neji Hyuga Hajime!" "Give up dead-last, people cannot change their destinies, we all saw what you did to the Inzuka boy, and while I loath to admit that your match was impressive, you are still a failure!" Neji spoke, he gracefully dodged a punch from a snarling Naruto and retaliated with a juken strike to the orange-clad boy's lung, thus rendering the said lung useless. Naruto howled in pain before putting his fingers into a cross sign and shouting "Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!" 5 copies of Naruto rushed at the Hyuga prodigy, throwing shuriken and trying to attack him. "This is pathetic, utterly pathetic," Neji said while dodging all of the clone's attempts. Neji then ran towards the real Naruto and hit him with multiple juken strikes, all connecting and making the blonde boy grit his teeth in pain, with all his tenketsu closed he was basically useless, Neji then ran towards the 5 clones and attacked, making sure that all of them poofed out of existence.

Spectator's Booth-

Kiba, Shino, Tenten, Sakura, Hinata, Asuma, Kurenai, Gai, Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino all watched the match between Neji and Naruto. Kiba then opened his mouth to say something, "Damn, Naruto's getting smoked!" "Oh please, you're just saying that cause Naruto smoked you!" Sakura said in a rare instance of defense for her blonde, idiotic teammate. "Hmph, Neji isn't even going all out, he has a bunch of techniques that you all have yet to see, and he hasn't even activated his Byakugan." Tenten bragged. "What?!" Everyone, except Shikamaru, Asuma, Hinata, Kurenai, Shino, Tenten, and Gai exclaimed. "Yes, Tenten-san is correct, I do not see the physical features of the Byakugan and we have yet to see any of Neji-san's techniques," Shino said. "Well said Shino-kun, you are correct Neji-kun is not going all out," Gai said, everyone could literally hear the pride in his voice. "Let's just keep watching the match," Asuma said.

Arena-

Naruto was getting frustrated, and that was not good for Neji, at all. "What's wrong? Is that it?" Neji taunted. Naruto growled and ran towards the Hyuga, but before he could Neji shouted "Kaiten!" a blue sphere erupted from Neji's body and it grew to the size of a huge ball, when Naruto made contact with it, he was sent flying and into a nearby wall.

Spectator's Booth-

"Father? Aren't only the Main Branch supposed to know that technique?" Hanabi, Hinata's little sister asked her father.

"Yes Hanabi, I also do not know how Neji has acquired this strength" Hiashi, Hinata, and Hanabi's father replied 'How did he get that technique?!' He thought.

Arena-

"Give up!" Neji shouted towards the slowly standing Naruto. Red, Black, and Purple chakra swirled around Naruto's form, as black flame-like marks stretched across his face, his body encased in a red shroud. This was Version 1 Curse Mark and Kyuubi chakra mode. Neji took a step back, frightened. "How?! I closed all your tenketsu! How?!" Neji asked fearfully. "Ha! You think a pathetic attack like that would hurt me?! HAHAHA!" a demonic voice that obviously did not belong to Naruto laughed. Neji activated his Byakugan and looked into the boy's body, what he saw disturbed him greatly, there was 3 whole chakra sources, one that was pure blue, one that was pure purple, and black, and one that was pure-blood red.

Spectator's Booth-

(Sorry I'm making Kakashi and Sasuke come earlier) This was the scene that Kakashi and Sasuke arrived to, a fearful and shocked audience, a gleeful Kazekage, a worried Hokage, a terrified Neji, and a maniacal Naruto. Kakashi sighed as he looked towards his increasingly dangerous student 'What should I do Minato-sensei? Your son is acting so rebellious and distant.' But on the other hand, Sasuke was greatly angered 'Why does the dobe have so much power?! What about me, I am an Uchiha ELITE! Even with all of Kakashi's special training, I can't catch up!' He thought. He and Kakashi then walked up to the booth and sat next to the rookies and sensei's "Yo, what's wrong?" Kakashi asked. "Look at your student! He is most unyouthful with all that vile chakra!" Gai said to his rival. "Yeah I know, that's the problem I don't know what to do about it." Kakashi sighed. "Well, do something about it, and fast!" Kurenai says, Neji might not be one of her students, but she did not want anyone to get hurt at the hands of Naruto again, even Neji.

Arena-

Naruto blurred towards Neji, and punched him in the stomach, eliciting a scream of pain, and the sound of gurgling blood. "Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!" hundreds of clones surrounded Neji. Punch, Kick, Uppercut, Bite, Scratch, those were the only things Neji Hyuga received during his match against Naruto Uzumaki, at the end of the blonde-haired shinobi's combo, Neji Hyuga was on the ground bleeding from his head, torso, eyes, legs, gut, and ears. His spinal cord broken, one of his 5 feet ripped off on each foot, his hair completely drenched in his own blood, his pupils dilating in fear, confusion, and pain while bleeding profusely, his torso riddled with about 19 huge gashes, the skin protecting his gut red in blood and rashes, his earlobes torn, the back of his head showing his cranium, and his legs completely skinned. Neji Hyuga was almost dead, his heart beating incredibly fast, and his whole body twitching, until Neji's body suddenly poofed! You may be asking how a clone could be able to withstand all that, well Neji knew he was outmatched and put all his chakra into the clone, leaving it to take all the damage. Naruto slowly turned around, his eyes glinting dangerously. He rushed towards the incredibly tired Neji and tried to attack before Kakashi poofed in front of him and held his hand in place, then he chopped Naruto's neck and carried him bridal style. Neji collapsed and many medics attended to him. Naruto still in Kakashi's arms, muttered "Sorry Neji, but fate is not a thing just like destiny isn't, I just proved it too, hehe." Neji heard and smiled faintly before thinking 'Maybe I can be free, free of my cage, as a bird.' and succumbing to unconsciousness. The proctor soon announced Naruto as the winner, in hopes of keeping the boy away from him.

Spectator's Booth-

Kakashi shunshined to the spectator's booth and sat down next to his students, the rookies, and sensei's. "Get that monster away from us!" Sakura screamed. Kakashi turned and glared at Sakura before saying "He was under the effect of the curse mark, cut him some slack!" "Kakashi! How long are you going to keep using that excuse! Something is wrong with that kid!" Kurenai said. "Fine! I'll seal the curse mark, then we'll see if there is anything wrong with him!" Kakashi said while running his fingers through Naruto's golden locks of hair. "Fine then! But keep him away from my students!" Kurenai said, glaring at the unconscious form of Naruto, while Kakashi glared at her.
