"What are saying," Bridgette said. She unannounced herself at Duncan and Geoff's apartment.

Duncan sat at the couch, looking at you. "before I answer, I need to ask you something. Did Courtney mention my name when you were talking to her in the office?"

"What dose that have anything to do with me stealing something," Bridgette said. She was this close to kicking him.

"Answer the question." Duncan shouted. "God damn, Bridgette, if you don't answer my question, someone is going to get hurt."

Geoff entered the apartment. "What is going on, I can hear you two going at it," Geoff said.

"Geoff, stay out of this... you." Bridgette walked towards Duncan. "Yes. Courtney did mention your name, but how the hell—"

"—Her father put a microchip to spy on Courtney."

"What." Bridgette stepped away. "Wh—why would you assume that."

"Her father hates me. Even before she lost her memories, when we were together, he hated my guts. Trust me. Courtney's dad would kill me if it was legal," Duncan said. "And how I got jumped, right on the day when you were talking to her... draw between the lines."

Somehow... Bridgette believed this. "If what you're saying is correct, then would he remember you?"

"If you mention my name, then I assume so. The question is why would he put a microchip..." it then hit him. "Of course he would do that."

"What are you talking about."

"Courtney's dad basically owns this city, so it would not surprise me if one of his henchmen's saw us talking together." Duncan also added, "dose he own a coffee shop?"

"He dose not own one, but he is an investor at City Coffee."

"That's where he found me... the question is this? Who sold me out?"

Duncan then remember something. "I think I know who would sold me out. He got up and left place in a hurry.

"What are you going to do," Geoff asked. "Are you going to tell Courtney."

"I—I don't know." Bridgette collapse down on the couch. "I know he's your best friend, but do you believe him?"

Geoff didn't know how to answer this. "I think you know what you have to do."

"I know."

Duncan stood behind the corner of underground parking lot. A red car pulled out and out stepped Courtney's secretary. As she walked towards the elevator, Duncan walked behind and grabbed her arm. His hand covering over her mouth. "Scream, and that will be the last thing you ever say. Am I clear?"

Courtney secretary nodded. Duncan can feel the tears. "Let's go." He dragged her behind the corner and slammed her against the wall. "Who set you up to put the microchip in Courtney's office."

"What are you taking about." Wrong answer Courtney's secretary said, because Duncan slammed his elbow against her neck. "I—I can't breath."

Duncan pulled out his phone. "Then tell me this." He showed her with Courtney's father and Josh. "So I'll ask again... who set you up, and maybe I will spare you." He wasn't going to harm her, as he no longer has the desire to do that, but had to bluff his way to make her scared. "Don't underestimate me..." he leaned over and whisper, "I'm actually good at carving, and your body is perfect for the drawings."

"It's was Josh..." her secretary blurted out. "He... Courtney's father..." she broke free from Duncan grip and immediately ran towards her arm. Duncan followed her, but stop when she was holding a pill.

"Stop." Duncan walked towards her.

"It's too late, or else he will kill me," she said. She pulled out her phone and slide it over to Duncan. "The passcode is 2578. Look under the name Josh... he... he isn't who Courtney thinks..." She then swallowed seconds later, she seized up and died within minutes.

As Duncan heard footsteps coming forward, he picked up the phone and immediately walked away. As soon as he left the building, he checked to see if the phone was tracked. It wasn't.

"If what said to be true, then Courtney is in trouble."
