Hello, it's me, Jan Mark D. Gestuveo once again. This is the new version of Oliver Queen's backstory. I decided to change the plot for the whole story. The original version of this chapter was Oliver Queen was born in the 50s instead of in the 40s. Anyway, I already told the spoilers where Oliver met Ian and James in San Francisco. But I need to tell the backstory of Oliver Queen. New Version. But just like in the last chapter, this is where we are going to see Oliver's backstory. From his birth, to his introduction in music, to his introduction in fatherhood early on, to his shipwreck accident and surviving, to him living in San Francisco, meeting Ian and James, and joining Militia.

Like I also said in the original version of this chapter, Oliver Queen is an OOC and obviously an AU. Where Oliver's a metal guitarist but that doesn't mean that he's not gonna be Green Arrow. Also, I've decided not to split the backstory like the original plan.

Warning: Lemons once again... Like I said, in the first chapter I will not go in deep for the sex scene. Because it's just a backstory. We're not in the main plot yet.

One more thing, I don't own the DC characters like Oliver Queen, Dinah Queen, etc. I just own my own OCs.

Also, I know my grammar really sucks sometimes. So feel free to criticize this story as well.

With that being said, this is the backstory of Oliver Queen. ENJOY.

STAR CITY, CALIFORNIA

Decade: 1940s

Oliver Jonas Queen was born on February 3rd, 1941 in Starling City. He is the only son/child of Robert Queen (born: June 2nd, 1913) and Moira Queen (née. Dearden) (born: November 10th, 1913). Both of them were philanthropists. The Queen family are amongst one of the richest families not just in Starling City but also one of the richest families in the world. (Along with the Wayne family.) Both parents are worth $1 billion in total. So Oliver has a great childhood. He has lots of luxurious things, like toys and stuff. As a child, he was very energetic. He has made a lot of friends, all because he was the son of Robert Moira Queen. In fact, he was the most popular kid in all of Starling City. He's also a fan of music as well. Just like the Ericson family, he's also a big fan of the popular artists at the time like Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Sister Rosetta Tharpe and many more. He was so fascinated by them that it made him want to play guitar. So when Oliver was 8 years old around 1949, his father Robert bought him a Gibson ES 100-125 for $230 and a guitar amp for $100. It definitely was a starting point for Oliver Queen's future as a musician.

Decade: 1950s

During the first year of playing guitar, he practiced for an hour everyday. Then it got to 2 hours of practicing everyday and so on. He got so good at guitar to the point he became a guitar prodigy at age 12. By mid-1954 at age 13, he began to perform live to a crowd. He got positive reviews on how he was so good at playing guitar from such a young age. He covered some of the biggest artists at the time like Les Paul, Mary Ford, Dean Martin, Eddie Fisher, Perry Como and Hank Williams. But sometimes, he also played one of his original songs, which was inspired by artists from the 40s to 50s. He loved to entertain people because it was fun and he loved the attention that it increased his self-esteem. He became one of the biggest celebrities inside Starling City. At this point also, he changed his guitars and bought a Gibson Les Paul and a Fender Stratocaster. He's mostly a solo guitarist but sometimes, he's got to jam with other bands (mostly jazz and blues bands) around the city. He had gained a following. He had a lot of fans. He became a kid idol in Starling City. Then by the age of 18, he had to live a double life. By morning, he was a student in Star City Conservatory and by the evening, he's a playboy musician. After every show he's performed, he would go partying with all the hot girls around his sides and he never failed to fuck them all. He's also exploring new music like Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Link Wray, Johnny Cash, Miles Davis, and many, many more. His life would not just be crazy but also life-changing in just a few more years.

Decade: 1960s

As the 60s came, his life would turn for the worst. By September of 1960, while Oliver was being a playboy musician, he met a woman named Kate May Quill (born: September 16, 1941). She was the same age as him, only a few months younger. She's tall, around 6 feet and she has an athletic figure that would wow literally all men in town. She was wearing a leather jacket that accentuated her sexy curves and tight jeans that enticed men. The two met at a bar and started a conversation later on. She's the only child/daughter of John Quill, a doctor in Starling City Hospital and Mary Quill (née. Vallham), a teacher from Starling Elementary School.

After they talked for over an hour, he started to kiss her. She was shocked at first but then, she kissed him back, and got lost at the moment. They broke the kiss and looked at each other. Afterwards, they went to Oliver's mansion and surprisingly enough, both of Oliver's parents were asleep. So, they started kissing again and went to Oliver's bedroom. Clothes were scattered around his bedroom and they started making out. It was really passionate and rough. Oliver keeps dominating her during their lovemaking and it went for 2 hours. This is also the point where Oliver finds out that Kate's a screamer. Luckily, his room is far enough and his parents can't hear their moans and groans. Afterwards, he cum inside of her, causing her to scream. Their chests were both heaving as they calmed down from their high.

The next day around 6:30 AM, Oliver woke up and looked at his side and Kate was still sleeping. So, he got up, dressed up and got some breakfast for both of them. He was then greeted by both of his parents and went to get some food. Then Kate wakes up and an hour later notices that Oliver has woken up an hour earlier. She then puts all of her clothes on. Luckily, none of them have ripped off and she puts it all on and goes to the mansion's living room. She then realized that she's no longer alone and she met Oliver's parents and greeted them. It was awkward at first then as Oliver came back, he noticed that his parents were talking to Kate, he decided to join the conversation and everything went smooth. They were having a nice breakfast together and after a few minutes, Kate and Oliver went to say their goodbyes and return to their lives. The next few days were fine and even Oliver went to meet Kate's parents and went well. It was until 3 weeks later when Kate told Oliver that she was pregnant with his child. They tried to keep it a secret until her parents found out about her pregnancy due to their daughter's morning sickness. Just like Ian's situation about impregnating Jeffrey's daughter Diana, Kate's parents had confronted Oliver for what he did to their daughter. But unlike Ian's situation where they just talk about this and went well and without any physical violence, Oliver's situation was almost the exact opposite of that. John punched Oliver in the face for what happened but he was stopped immediately by his wife Mary and went for a very awkward talk about all of this at first but it ended well after what felt like hours and Kate and Oliver decided to raise their child together. This situation is also the end of Oliver's career of being s playboy musician.

By 1961, 2 events had happened which Oliver considered to be his most life-changing moments of his life. By May, he graduated from Star City Conservatory with a Master's Degree in Music. Then a month later, specifically June 23rd, Kate gave birth to a baby boy named Brian William Queen. He was a healthy baby boy and both of his parents adored him and they decided that Brian will live at Oliver's house from Monday to Friday so that Kate will focus on her studies and by the weekends, Brian will live at Kate's house. During Oliver's first few months as a father, it went really well. He is still having a good night's sleep even with a child. He loved being a father. For a few months old, Brian was a well behaved baby. Oliver had no problems with diapers, baby milk and stuff like that since his parents were rich enough to buy all of it. Sometimes when Brian actually cried, his father Oliver used his guitar and just played his favorite music to calm him down, which worked by the way. For several months, Oliver, Kate and their child Brian lived peacefully and even celebrated Brian's first Christmas and first New Year's Day at Oliver's mansion. Everything went really well but on February 22nd, 1962, tragedy struck for the Queen family.

On the morning of that day, the Queen family went to their vacation on a ship. So, they went to pack all their things, from baby supplies to his guitar, money, etc. It went really well at first until a storm came up and the Queen family got shipwrecked.

STARFISH ISLAND

Decade: 1960s

As they washed up on an island called Starfish Island, both of Oliver's parents died in the incident but surprisingly and miraculously, Oliver and his son Brian survived to the shipwreck without any major injuries and Brian doesn't even have any injuries at all. Oliver's world crumbled that both of his parents died at the shipwreck but also relieved that he and his son survived. He has no idea what to do on surviving on a mysterious island and the worst of all, they have no help from the inside and the outside of the island. He then went back to the ship and he was relieved even more that all of the stuff for him and his baby was there. So, he grabbed the bag and went to help his son change his diaper and he grabbed a bottle of milk to feed his baby Brian. Now all that Oliver needed to do was to figure it all out how to survive on this island and hopefully, find help from someone who just happened to see them from far from this island.

MEANWHILE BACK AT STAR CITY, CALIFORNIA

People have seen and heard the news about the missing of the whole Queen family and eventually they just have concluded that the whole Queen family, including Oliver and his son, had died in the shipwreck. Kate took it really hard on this and she can't just accept that her son died on the shipwreck and people have been questioning her about her thoughts about all of this. Her parents just told the media that they needed some privacy and they just said that they're sad about this whole incident and they don't know whether or not Kate's going to accept that her baby had died. Not knowing that it was only Oliver's parents that died and Oliver Queen and his son Brian are actually still alive on the island. For grieving, Kate decided to go back to her grandparents house in Maine, which is really far from California to try and forget that this tragedy even existed but she knew she couldn't. It will be embedded in her brain for the rest of her life even if she's going to be married and have more kids, she'll always remember about her screwup as a parent.

AGAIN, BACK AT STARFISH ISLAND

The first few days stranded on the island were really tough. Luckily, Brian was well behaved even as a baby. He would only fuss when he's really hungry. But other than that, it was really tough. Oliver was struggling on hunting for fish since it was the only food on this island. He was getting frustrated that he threw the stick out of anger and that's where he saw that the stick could be used as an arrow. So, this is where Oliver got the idea. This was where he created a bow and arrows and forced himself into archery to survive. There, he finally gets food for himself and he uses a lot of sticks to make a fire to heat himself up and they have been living like this for a few years. Oliver was sad that Brian's first birthday will be on this island and probably more. He would hope that someone would have seen them in order for his kid to survive.

It didn't take long until two years later on April 12th, 1964 where Oliver's luck finally came in and Brian was now a three year old boy. Oliver knew that he was a really special kid and a miracle one because for 2 years he was stuck with his father, Brian was well behaved, he didn't have any problems with food, he always slept when his father just wanted him to sleep whether by rocking him or playing guitar to soothe him. He was founded by a bunch of fishermen and he packed all of his things, from all of his money that was on the ship, his guitar, and of course his son Brian. He was finally saved.

BACK AT STAR CITY, CALIFORNIA AGAIN

People were shocked and happily relieved about the news that Oliver and his son were still alive. But it was still sad to see that Robert and Moira both died in the shipwreck that happened. People were interviewing him asking about the incident, how both him and Brian survived and many more. The first thing Oliver did was going to visit Kate's house, hoping that she's there and happy to see that they're both alive. He was then greeted by Kate's parents and they got sad that Kate moved out from California to Maine and she will stay there for a long time. His smile had faltered to sadness and he left. Well, he saved all of his money that was from the ship and he went back home to his mansion where it was completely empty. It's just him and his son to live. It was sad really that his parents were now dead but he needs to move forward. He lived in his mansion for over a year until he decided to can't take this anymore. He had to get out of all of this grieving and decided to move out from Star City to San Francisco with his son and decided to live there permanently.

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

Decade: 1960s

As they finally reside in San Francisco with his son, he decided to go what he's been missing. He decided to go back to exploring more music and discovered new artists like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dick Dale, The Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, and many more in order to expand his music knowledge and he practiced guitar for 6 hours everyday at this point. By the time September of 1965 had come, he decided to finally put the 4 year old Brian Queen to school in which he enrolled his son to a public school. Their lives had become normal once more for a few more years and even Brian got to experience a happy birthday in their new hometown until May of 1966 came and Oliver met another woman named Courtney Milson (born: January 28th, 1942). She was an orphan, lost her parents when she was 8 years old and got to live with her grandparents. As she grew up, she graduated from San Francisco University and got a job as an accountant and lived in an empty apartment in the city. She looked beautiful in Oliver's eyes. She has an athletic body, she's tall, around 5'10", has blonde hair and just overall sexy. Oliver hoped that it wouldn't be the same situation as what happened between them after the shipwreck. They talk for a few hours and after that they say goodbyes to one another but not without a kiss from Courtney and Oliver was blushing from it. A few days later, they started talking and doing what couples mostly do like eat in nice places since Oliver still has a lot of money. Like I'm talking millions of dollars from his old hometown in Star City and the money from the shipwreck incident 5 years ago. And they walked through the park and even introduced Brian to her and she thought that Brian was the most adorable little boy ever. They even went to Courtney's house where her grandparents met Oliver and it went well and the last walk through the cemetery and met her parents there. Oliver can relate to this one except he doesn't have any grandparents that were alive at that point. Then one day, they went to Oliver's new house, Oliver tucked his son to sleep and later, went to his bedroom and they started kissing. It got more heated and more passionate and Oliver could see the lust in her eyes and Oliver knew what to do. Clothes were scattered around, more kissing and started to do their lovemaking. Luckily, his son was a heavy sleeper so he couldn't hear his dad and his new girlfriend's moans and groans. It went for over an hour and after their lovemaking, they went for a really deep sleep. Courtney was laying on Oliver's chest, using it as a pillow. Oliver hopes that she'll be the one forever for him. After that day, Courtney decided that it would be a good idea to move into Oliver's house and did just that.

A few weeks later, he realized that Courtney was not feeling well so he went to Courtney and she knew that she had to tell him at that point that she's pregnant. Oliver was shocked by this news but he's not scared at all about this. It took him a while to take it in but he knew that they didn't have protection and just went to the lovemaking real quick. They then announced it to Courtney's grandparents and it went well. They congratulated them for the blessing and even got some gifts from them. Oliver was not expecting this at all but he's not complaining. It was relieving to say the least. They then announced it to Brian and he was happy and excited that he's going to be a big brother. They then announced the pregnancy to Courtney's friends and got gifts from them as well. It was also the time that they found out the baby's gender and it was a boy. Nine months later on September 18th, 1967, Courtney's water broke, they rushed to a nearby hospital and Oliver was really nervous about all of this. Then 4 hours of labor and an hour of pushing later, Courtney gave birth to Oliver's second boy. David James Queen was a healthy baby boy and they were all happy about it. Life was certainly going to be great to the Queen family in the future.

Decade: 1970s

As the new decade came around, Oliver was happy about his life and couldn't ask for more. It was also around this point that he discovered some more music. So he went to a record store, which is the same record store that Ian and James Ericson went to and asked the store owner what was some of the newest music out there. The store owner went to grab something and it was certainly interesting to Oliver's eyes. It was called "Black Sabbath" by "Black Sabbath ''. The store owner said that it was good and Oliver just went in and bought the album. He then went home, listened to this new artist and instantly he was blown away. It was really heavy to say the least but it was too heavy to be called rock or even hard rock. But he knew, he loved it. He's now a big fan of the record and even listened to it with these two boys. Not just that, he discovered Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin and thought that this is the music America needs because it's really good. After a thorough listening of these bands, Oliver went to a guitar store and went to buy a Gibson Explorer for $300 and he knew he found his sound. Later, he found an ad about auditioning for lead guitar players and he knew he was in for this moment. It was now or never. He went in to the audition and he was last in the line. Forty five minutes have passed and it's time for his audition for the new band. He went there and met Ian Henry Ericson, who's the frontman and a rhythm guitar player and his younger brother James Geoffrey Ericson, who's the bassist, he also met William Johnson, who's the drummer of the band. Every member of the band was shocked and surprised that Oliver Queen showed up for the audition. They would never expect that the rich guy from Star City would come up and play with them. Then, they started to jam some Black Sabbath and Deep Purple songs and Oliver started shredding his guitar. They were surprised how good Oliver Queen was at guitar and they knew they found the right guy. After the jam, the Ericson brothers went to tell Oliver that he's officially in the band and Oliver was really happy that he got the opportunity to play with someone. Since the four guys loved Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, they played heavy metal as well and called the band "Militia". They're ready to rule the world with their music and their success is at their doorstep.

So there you go guys, the new version of Oliver Queen's backstory. I hope you guys enjoy reading this chapter. It took me like days to complete it and school work is absolutely hell. Now, in the original version, I said that Oliver's backstory will be split into two chapters but I decided not to go along with it and instead, I'm going to go with another backstory which is William Kirk Johnson's backstory.

Again, feel free to write some positive reviews and some constructive criticism about this, whether my grammar is horrible or you just don't sit with the plot. It's okay, I understand.
