The girls spent most of the day at Sala's new store even managing to get a few designs for free as a thank you from her. However, after the girls were about return to the Shooting Star, Numera launched her attack on the town. Compared to Katheryn's dragon, Numera summoned a giant bird that resembled a cockatrice. Numera used her monster summoning as a means to create a monster to represent the person she wanted to be. She was aware of her old age and sort of wished to have her younger body, but still retain her adult mindset. Numera decided to give her monster a special ability which was to make people age at a rapid paste. The only ones unaffected were old mages, and Jacklyn's team. Thanks to the forest's cover the team decided to transform for new forms and see how to halt the new monster.

The team gained wings with their to get even ground for the flying beasts. Laura had mastered a piano tune that after a certain que: "Magical spell is one, two, three," fairy wings would appear on a pet's back. When Jacklyn and the others came, Sarah had already used her own spell to gain angel wings that she had used in the battle against Mistress. Sarah was very experienced in flight with her wings and was able to pull of maneuvers that the other girls were amazed by but knew they would need to be more experienced with air combat. The team decided to first weaken the monster and then finish it off with a concert which would destroy the source of the monster's power. Since the power of song was amplified when others possessed the power of song and joined in. When Sarah offered to sing along with the trio, Jacklyn discovered a new ability: the ability to share the power of song to others. Sarah didn't know how to play an instrument, but she did want to help sing with the others. Jacklyn gave Sarah a copy of 1,2 Sing and told Sarah what parts to sing, and Sarah agreed to the plan.

The team managed to create their own stage with transformation magic, and began to play to play a new version of their 1, 2 Sing for You this time with Sarah providing a few vocal lines.

The new knowledge of the song and its new lyrics made the perfomance stronger and made a blast strong enough to KO the monster and restored everyone's age to normal. Numera soon had to retreat, for the magic had weakened her further. Numera knew she wouldn't be sent out to battle again, but she figured she could stay as support.

After taking care of the monster, the team returned to the Shooting Star in order to finally learn of the notes' secret.
