We spent the next few weeks filming Monsta X-Ray and I had the role of helping with missions and adding my own little spin on things. The fans enjoyed my antics on the show, asking for more missions that would include me. The director told us that they would try to figure out what they could do to keep the fans happy. Offers started coming in for me to make appearances and I even earned photoshoots for different products and clothes. Soon, it was my turn to have a busy schedule and being gone for days on end. The guys were all super supportive of me, especially Changkyun and Hyungwon who helped me get in contact with an agency and soon my clothing line started coming to life and I started my own little store that was filled with men and women's clothes and sunglasses. I was on cloud nine that I actually had something going for me. The depression of not being able to wrestle was replaced with pure happiness and determination. The guys helped me with my clothing line, giving their own ideas and even modeled my designs. The success from my clothing line drew the attention of big companies and other k-pop groups who contacted me, wondering if they could work with me. I got to work with a few groups and ended up making friends with Ateez, NCT, Wayv, SuperM, Victon, Jay Park, and Stray Kids, designing their own special line of clothes and designed their outfits for a few videos. I couldn't believe that I was becoming so popular in South Korea like I was in the states and I couldn't be happier. I didn't think anything else could possibly happen that would make me so happy. But I was wrong. The morning sun shone through the window as I rolled over and reached for Changkyun, but came up empty. I opened my eyes and saw that I was completely alone. No sign of Changkyun or Hyungwon. I scratched my head and got up, getting dressed before leaving the room and went to the bathroom. The entire dorm was strangely quiet and empty. Changkyun didn't say anything about having something to do today. I walked down the hall, puzzling my mind and lost in thought when confetti exploded, catching me off guard as I screamed and the guys yelled Happy Birthday to me. "Is it Happy Birthday or Happy Deathday," I giggled, trying to stop my racing heart as everyone gave me a hug, Changkyun going last as he kissed me. "We know how much you love surprises," he chuckled as Wonho held up a plate of heart shaped pancakes with a candle in it, "now make a wish." I thought for a moment before blowing out the candle. "What did you wish for?" "If I told you, then it won't come true," I said, removing the candle, "now let's eat." Changkyun led me to the kitchen where there was a full course breakfast. "Wow. Everything looks great. You guys didn't have to do all of this," I said as everyone grabbed a plate and sat down. "Of course we did. It's your special day and it's Halloween so we're throwing you a party tonight," Jooheon announced. "You guys really don't have to do that," I said, trying not to cry. "I think we can all agree that you're officially apart of the Monsta X family so we have to throw you a party. Plus we wanted to through you a little appreciation party on top of it. The clothing line for us has been awesome," Wonho said as Changkyun rubbed my lower back. "Thank you, guys. I mean it. I never thought that I could accomplish this much and I have you guys to thank for that. I wasn't going to open a store, but I'm glad that you encouraged me. Now I have these friends now and now I can grow my own business and I have something that's outside of wrestling that I love. Honestly, and this is going to sound terrible, but I'm kind of glad that the injury happened. Yeah, it sucks that I'm not wrestling, but at least now, I found a new avenue of success and now I have all of these friends who I rather call family now and I'm happy. I appreciate every single one of you guys and I just can't thank you enough for everything. This has been the best time of my life and I couldn't wish for anything better." "I think I speak for all of us when I say that having you here has brought a lot of fun and joy to our lives and for me, I feel like I gained a sister," Minhyuk said. "I'm sure that's how we all feel. We're a family and we will always be a family," Kihyun said as we toast our glasses before eating. After breakfast, I got changed and decided to go for a run to see how my leg would hold up. I put on my headphones and played my music before taking off running. The wind and sun felt good on my skin and my body felt free as I ran. It has been way too long since I could properly exercise and it felt great to be active again. I turned a corner and saw a large house with a black metal gate around it with a for sale sign in the front and slowed down. I looked around and saw the yard was large and the house looked like it was maybe two stories. That was when the thought of what my dad said came to mind. It would be kind of nice to have a vacation home here and have a bigger space to work on my designs and make my videos. Plus if things kept going great with Changkyun, it would be nice to have a place of our own. The guys could also have a little home away from home where they could unwind. I gave it another look around, I thought about the different add ons I could put on the house. I grabbed my phone and took a few pictures before I called the number on the sign before turning around and walked back to the dorm, talking to the owner of the house. I sighed as I returned to the dorm, stretching as I walked inside. "How was your run, baby," Changkyun greeted me when I returned. Jooheon was once again attempting to play Dead by Daylight, dropping his head when he was killed. "It was amazing. I feel great. I need to hit the gym now," I smiled, kissing his cheek, "how's the always dying going, honey?" Jooheon looked at me with a pout. "Don't tease me," he mumbled. "Anyways, you go get cleaned up because you have a busy day, baby," Changkyun said. "I do?" He nodded as I pulled out my phone. "Okay. Well, I am expecting a call from someone about this house," I said, showing him the pictures I took. "What, are you thinking about buying it," he asked me and I shrugged. "Maybe. I was thinking about it a lot. Since I have my business here, I'm going to need a bigger space to work and I was thinking about adding onto it as I go. The owner said that it has a large master bedroom with a bathroom and walk in closet, two more bedrooms and two bathrooms, two bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs, a full kitchen, a large living room, two studies that I'll probably turn into my recording and my work rooms, and empty basement and it's fully furnished with new furniture. The backyard is big enough for a pool too." Changkyun looked at the pictures before looking at me. "So are you going to do it? Because if you are, I would like to split it with you, baby." I raised an eyebrow. "Are you serious? You don't have to, Kyunnie." "I want to. I have my reasons which I will explain later on, but I would love to get a house with you. Plus I'm sure that when you're gone for wrestling, you wouldn't mind us staying there when we want to get away for awhile." I smiled and nodded, kissing his lips. "Let's do it. I'm gonna go and shower so I can start this so called busy day of mine," I giggled, kissing his lips before going to his bedroom and grabbed some clothes before going to the bathroom and got into the shower. "You're serious about this, aren't you," Jooheon asked. "Serious as a heart attack," Changkyun said, "I'm serious about her and making us work and I think that we will work. I really love her, man. She's like the perfect person I've ever met." Jooheon smiled. "I'm just glad that you're happy. I'm also glad to see you like this," he said as they high five. "We're set. Is she getting ready," Hyungwon asked as he and Minhyuk walked into the living room. "Yeah. She's getting showered and dressed. Shownu and Wonho went to get the room at the restaurant decorated. Kihyun, Jooheon, and I have costumes and gifts to get and have the gifts at the restaurant. Thanks again for helping me with this," Changkyun said. "It's no problem. I know that she will love this," Minhyuk said as they heard the door open and close down the hall. I sighed as I run my fingers through my hair as I put my clothes in the room and grabbed my bag before going into the living room where everyone was at, except for Kihyun, Wonho, and Shownu. "What's going on, a secret meeting," I asked as Changkyun wrapped arms around me. "Sure is," he chuckled, kissing my lips, "but for now, you're going to spend the day with Hyungwon and Minhyuk. Today is your day and everyone is going to treat you to a special day." I raised an eyebrow as he released me and Minhyuk put his arms around my shoulders. "We'll take good care of her," he smiled as he led me to the door. "Well bye guys," I giggled with a wave as Hyungwon followed us. "Have fun, baby," Changkyun said as we left and got into Hyungwon's car and he started driving. "Where are we going," I asked as he drove, Minhyuk riding in the backseat. "It's a surprise. Afterwards, we're taking you shopping for your costume and for ours before we take you back to the dorm to get ready for your big surprise tonight," Hyungwon said as my eyes were covered with a cloth. Hyungwon drove to our first location and parked. They got out and helped me out, walking me inside and I was seated before the blindfold was removed. I looked around and saw that we were at a spa. "Time to get pampered," Minhyuk said as we spent the next two hours getting massages and relaxing in a hot bath. After the trip to the spa, we stopped at a salon for manicures and pedicures. "Did Kyunnie plan this," I asked while I was waiting for my nails to dry. "We all did, actually," Hyungwon said, "the spa and salon was our gifts to you. Plus we need to get our costume for tonight." "I'm so excited. I'm the queen that screams Halloween. This year, I'm dressing up as Harley Quinn. I promised the fans that I'll do it so I'm going to keep my word," I said as we got up and left the salon, "thank you guys so much. This is fun hanging out with you." "Anything for our new sister," Minhyuk said as we got into the car, "now it's time for our costume shopping." Hyungwon drove off and headed to the costume shop to get our costume for the party. It was late that evening when we finally returned to the dorm and got ready for the party. Changkyun had texted me earlier and told me that everyone else would be waiting for us at the restaurant. I stood in front of the mirror, applying my makeup before fixing my hair, using temporary dye to color the end section of my hair blue and pink. I took a few pictures before leaving the bathroom. I grabbed my bat and went to the living room where Hyungwon and Minhyuk were waiting. Hyungwon was dressed like a nobleman and Minhyuk was a paperboy. "Looking good, guys. Ready to go," I asked as I put on my Puddin choker. "Ready, but first," Minhyuk said, pulling out his phone as we stood together, "picture time." He snapped a few pictures of us before we head out to the restaurant where the others were at. We arrived at the restaurant and parked, getting out and walking towards the entrance. Loud music could be heard from the outside before we entered. It was somewhat packed with people in costumes on the dance floor. Hyungwon led the way as we went further in the back until we reached a private room. "Welcome to your party, Ashley," Hyungwon said, opening the door. "Surprise!" I smiled as everyone walked up to me and hugged me before Changkyun walked up to me and hugged me, kissing me on the lips. He was dressed as Joker while Jooheon was a vampire, Shownu a bear, Kihyun was a so called flexer, and Wonho was simply a bunny. "Happy birthday, baby," Changkyun said as he led me to a chair and sat me down, "we prepared something for you." He motioned towards Kihyun who cleared his throat before he started singing. Soon, everyone started singing Perfect Girl, Changkyun grabbing my hand when it was time to rap his part. I clapped when the song was over, fighting back tears as everyone sat down. "This is so amazing. Thank you, guys so much. This has been the best birthday ever," I said as waiters entered and delivered our food and drinks. Changkyun was oddly quiet while the rest of us were chatting away and enjoying dinner. "Are you okay, Kyunnie," I whispered to him. He smiled and kissed my cheek. "I'm fine, baby. Are you enjoying your party," he asked, rubbing my cheek. "Yeah. This is the best party ever," I giggled as Jooheon held up a box. "Time to open gifts. This is from me," he said eagerly. I opened the box and pulled out a shirt that had two bulldogs with the words 'best friends for life' on it. "I love it. Thank you," I said giving him a hug. "Guess I'll go next," Minhyuk said, grabbing his gift and gave it to me. I opened it and pulled out a brand new sketchbook and an art kit with my name on the front. "I kinda guessed that you could use a new one," he said as I hugged him. "Thank you. I love it." Shownu quietly handed me his gift which had a bear inside. Kihyun handed me his gift which was a cookbook inside. Hyungwon's gift was a makeup set and Wonho's gift was a stuffed bunny. "I really love my gifts, you guys. Thank you," I smiled as Jooheon elbowed Changkyun who was very quiet and looked nervous. "Oh right," he said, snapping out of it as he cleared his throat and turned to me. He took a deep breath and grabbed my hand. "Ashley," he began, looking at me, "I don't know exactly how I should word this so I'm just going to speak from the heart. Getting to know you has been life changing for me. You've brought so much joy and happiness to my life and I wouldn't change it for anything else in the world. At first, I thought that meeting you was going to be an one and done scenario, and the thought of that really made me sad, but then all of us got to talking and started hanging out and it made me happy. Before we met, I did look you up and did my research because I was nervous and didn't want to say the wrong thing. That made me want to meet you even more and that was when my feelings for you became known to me. I wasn't going to say anything because I thought that you wouldn't want to date an idol so when you agreed to the date, I was honestly shocked and happy about it. Then when we invited you here and you agreed, I can't explain how happy I was." "You're rambling," Kihyun teased, making everyone laugh. "Basically, what I'm trying to say is that you make me happy like no one else has. You're the ray of sunshine that I needed in my life." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box, opening it, showing a beautiful purple diamond ring inside. "This is a promise to you that I will make you happy everyday for as long as we're together, baby. I love you." My vision blurred as he smiled at me and held up the ring. "Will you accept this as a token of my love for you," he asked, holding my hand. "Changkyun, of course I will," I said, smiling as he slipped the ring on my finger, "I love you too, Kyunnie." Everyone around us cheered and took pictures as he pulled me in for a kiss. "Guys, it's not an engagement," Changkyun said, blushing as his friends teased him. I looked down at the beautiful ring before looking at the man that is officially the love of my life. After dinner, we walked outside where a car was waiting. "I have one more surprise for you, baby," Changkyun said as Wonho grabbed my bags with my gifts inside. "We'll take these. Have a good night, you two," Kihyun said as I got into the waiting car with Changkyun. "Good night," I waved before the car drove off. Changkyun held my hand the entire ride, rubbing my ring finger slowly as we arrived at our destination and got out of the car. He took my hand and led me inside a large building, riding in an elevator upstairs and walked towards a room as Changkyun pulled a key out out of his pocket and unlocked the door. He stepped aside and let me walk in first, my eyes widened as I looked around and saw a large room, the large bed had a heart made out of rose petals, the large windows leading out to a balcony that looked out towards the city. "Wow," I whispered as Changkyun walked up behind me, wrapping his arms around me. "Do you like it," he whispered in my ear. "I love it. This is beautiful, Kyunnie," I said, turning around in his arms and kissed him. "Good. Tonight is all about us. Tonight, I want to show you just how much I love you," he whispered, his hands resting on my hips as he looked at me, "tonight, I would like to make love to you. If you're comfortable with it." I blushed, taking a step back, feeling embarrassed. "What's wrong, baby? Am I pressuring you? That's not my intention." "No, Kyunnie. I washed away the makeup and scrubbed myself clean before getting out and dried off. I brushed my teeth and hair, grabbing the satin robe that was in the closet and put it on. I opened the door and was met with darkness, only the moonlight shining in the room. "Kyunnie," I called out as I walked over to the bed and climbed in it. Changkyun cleared his throat before walking inside from standing on the balcony. He was only in his pants and his hair was slicked back as he walked over to the bed. Like I told you earlier, I promise that I will try to make you very happy for as long as we're together which I hope is for a long time," he said. "The way things are going now, I don't see myself with anyone else, but you, Kyunnie." He smiled as we shared a passion filled kiss as we got cleaned up and went to bed, falling asleep in each others arms.
