Welcome back to DEATH BATTLE! Spyro Edition. This is it folks. Cynder and Tommy Oliver are about to face off in a fight to the death. Our combatants are set, and the data is being run as we speak. Let's see who really comes out on top in this battle.
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set, and we've run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!
(And with Boomstick's pronouncement, the battle begins. We focus in on the top of a mountain in the midst of autumn, where Cynder sits meditating on her past. But as she does, she is startled awake by the sound of something crushing the freshly fallen leaves. As she turns her gaze to the source, we see Tommy Oliver standing there)
Tommy Oliver: Afternoon.
Cynder: Who are you and what are you doing here?
Tommy Oliver: I've been told about a dangerous dragon up in these mountains. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that would you?
Cynder: (Sighs) Yet another assassin sent after me.
Tommy Oliver: (Surprised) Wait, it's you?
Cynder: Long story, you've probably already heard it.
Tommy Oliver: (Sighs) I'm really sorry I have to do this. (Pulls out his Master Morpher) It's Morphin Time! Green Ranger Power!
(With that pronouncement, Tommy Oliver assumes his classic Green Ranger suit, and pulls out the Dragon Dagger)
FIGHT!
(And with that, the battle begins. Tommy Oliver charges at Cynder, who starts deflecting blows the second they happen. The two are seemingly matched incredibly evenly. But after a few minutes, Cynder manages to fling Tommy Oliver off of her. As he hits the ground, Tommy Oliver fires a beam from the Dragon Dagger, which Cynder manages to dodge, but just barely as it cuts her arm, distracting her long enough for Tommy Oliver to get back in the game and deliver a series of blows. After the last one hits though, Cynder starts using elemental combat, throwing Poison at Tommy Oliver. Being in great condition himself, Tommy Oliver manages to dodge, but not before some of it splatters onto his chest plate and starts dissolving it slowly)
Cynder: I'll admit it, you're pretty good.
Tommy Oliver: You're no slouch yourself.
Cynder: But let's see how you handle real pressure.
(With that, Cynder unleashes a Fear attack straight at Tommy Oliver before diving into her shadow to rush at him. At first he appears to be startled by the Fear effect, but Tommy Oliver manages to snap out of it just as Cynder hits him. As she emerges from her shadow, Tommy Oliver slashes her across the chest, catching her by surprise)
Tommy Oliver: Your little fear tricks won't work on me.
Cynder: (Now really pissed off) Thankfully, they're not the only tricks that I've got.
(Cynder's anger is clear as the darkness consumes her, dropping her into her Dark form. With a gust of Wind, Cynder blows Tommy Oliver back against a wall, where some of the rocks that fell in regards to the impact turn into a very familiar blade as Cynder walks up towards him)
Tommy Oliver: The Sword of Darkness? What's that doing here? (Seeing Cynder is coming after him) No time to question it, I guess!
(Coming up on the scene, Cynder releases a stream of Dark Aether which Tommy Oliver counters with a beam from the Sword of Darkness. The two beams hit each other and manage to resist each other for quite a while. But eventually, the Dark Aether wins out and disintegrates Tommy Oliver and the Sword of Darkness, leaving only the Master Morpher and Green Ranger helmet behind)
Cynder: Let that be a lesson to you. (Steps on the Green Ranger helmet, crushing it) Don't mess with me.
KO!
And that's the end! Ring the bell! Cynder has somehow managed to emerge victorious! I'll be honest, I'm startled by the result, and I'm the one writing this. Mostly because I had no clear winner for this one like I did with Spyro vs Homelander. I just needed a Cynder bout to give some more content to the story. So when we go over what caused Cynder win next time, don't expect a lot of numbers. I really have none. So, all that being said, how did Cynder win this? Tune in next time to find out!
