1941:

"What do you mean we are leaving?"

Jasper talked to Caleb about his decision on leaving Peter and Charlotte but Jasper was not going to leave Caleb again like he did in the past. Things have been rough between them but Jasper couldn't think of leaving him again especially with Caleb not being fine. Jasper wasn't doing good himself. The real reason he decided on leaving and traveling with just Caleb and him, he was deeply depressed. Jasper felt he needed to do this not just for himself but for his brother as well. Caleb wasn't too happy with leaving Peter and Charlotte but he saw how bad Jasper was with his depression. Even though he didn't show the emotions he should towards his older brother he did care about him and his needs and if Jasper needs this, then Caleb was going to follow him.

"Caleb I promise we will stay in contact with Peter and Charlotte but this will help us both out. Things won't be as bad with just us two."

Caleb smirks while half smiling at his brother. He can see Jasper is trying to make things better for him but he still felt sad in a way leaving the two people he considered his brother and sister. Jasper playfully hits him on his arm while he finishes packing his bag up.

"We will be leaving soon so make sure you have everything of yours."

Caleb nods his head in understanding at Jasper. Jasper goes downstairs to say his goodbyes to Peter and Charlotte while Caleb finishes getting his things packed.

When 1am comes around Jasper and Caleb grab there stuff and they leave for good. They didn't know where they will go but being together is all that did matter to them anymore. They run off into the forest and whenever they end up is where they will end up staying for bit.

1948:

It's been 7 years since the two young brothers went off on there own. It has not been easy for them both. Jasper tried his best to not feed as much as he use to but it was extremely difficult for him. Caleb did try to help Jasper out but it was hard to do when he was feeding more often then he needed to. Jasper ended up finding out about Caleb doing drugs and drinking when he caught him doing it outside one night when they were feeding. Jasper was angry by it all and being lied to but he did what he could to help his brother out. It wasn't easy with him but Caleb was able to get off of it all.

Today the two brothers were going to a diner to get some sense of normal of there lives. Caleb is able to eat so Jasper knew it won't look too suspicious if at least one of them was eating. When they enter, they sit at a table. Jasper and Caleb order coffee and Caleb orders some breakfast. Jasper pretends to drink the coffee while Caleb is eating his food.

While they are talking and finishing up the coffee and food, they are approached by a short girl with black hair and they notice her eyes were honey gold color which they both knew wasn't a normal human eye color. The young girl smiles happily at the confused brothers but Jasper takes one look at her and he was stunned by her beauty.

"I've been waiting for you two long enough."

Jasper gets up out of his seat and stands up, smiling at this woman in front of him. Caleb looks at Jasper in confusion at what was happening. They don't know who this is but she seems to know the both of them which made Caleb even more confused then he already was.

"Jasper?"

Jasper was too memorized by her beauty to pay attention to Caleb right now. He takes her hand into his and smiles at this woman in front of him. He was feeling something he never thought he would feel again.

Hope.

"My apologizes ma'am."

Caleb sees a smile on Jasper's face. A real smile. The real smile he hasn't seen in a very long time. This woman in front of them was making Jasper feel happiness again. Caleb was not letting his guard down since they don't know who this woman is but Jasper seem to be to think she was to be trusted which is rare for Jasper to do anymore.

"I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself I'm Alice."

Alice extends her hand to Caleb and he hesitates but shakes her hand. Caleb can see that she is a vampire also but her eyes were different from there eyes. When Caleb feeds his eyes are red like Jasper's but Alice's eyes are a honey golden color.

"I'm Caleb and this is my brother Jasper. Pleasure to meet you."

"Oh I know who you both are. I've been waiting long enough for you both."

Caleb confused asks,

"How did you know about us and where to find us?"

Alice sits down to talk with them both. She excitedly answers there questions.

"As you both figured out I'm a vampire but I can also see the future. Since I woke up from my transition I've been searching for you two.."

Jasper was interested in this young woman and her story. The more she talked about it and herself the more he was getting drawn to her. Caleb can see a difference in his brother when it comes to Alice. He wasn't acting like himself. He wasn't shy with her and had a smile on his face. Caleb didn't want to trust this woman but he knew for his brother he had to try.

"So that's when I knew I had to find you both and show you a different way to live then the human blood. The Cullen coven is the ones I saw in my vision that live off of the animal blood and whom I wanted to find along with you two."

"Animal blood? How is that possible though?"

Jasper asks her. He never knew of another way and neither did Caleb. They both did not want to keep on the human blood but they knew this will be hard for them both. This Cullen coven she described sounded different from other covens they have dealt with. Caleb takes his hand and runs it through his curly hair trying to make sense of this all.

"It's not as strong as human blood but you can live off of it and not have to kill humans. That's what the Cullen's do and we can do also."

It's takes a while for the brothers to decide on what to do but one look at each other they knew this was there escape from doing something they hated doing. They both knew how hard it will be but they wanted a different life then what they were living.

"We will join you and help you find them. This is what we need and what we want."

Jasper says to Alice. It makes Alice even more happy and excited. She wanted to help them and be with her soulmate. She knew she had work ahead of her with them both but she was prepare for it all and to help the brothers. Alice hoped finding the Cullen's will not only help her but help them both also.
