Chapter 4
Due to the rising sun's rays entering Daisy's bedroom Misty was awakened from her slumber. Looking around the room to see how big everything was including the massive forms of Togepi and Daisy who were still sleeping.
Suddenly a loud ringing began to blare throughout the room, it was an alarm clock Misty then felt the bed shake as Daisy shifted and reached out a hand and shut off the alarm before sitting up and stretching her arms into the air before looking at Misty.
"Morning Misty how'd ya sleep?" Daisy asked.
"All things considered pretty good" Misty replied
During this time Togepi had awakened as well and Daisy decided to pick up both Misty and Togepi with Misty riding on the latter.
Daisy carried the two in her arms as she left her bedroom to head through the hallway and down the stairs towards the kitchen where Lilly and Violet were already cooking breakfast. They saw Daisy, Misty, and Togepi and smiled at them.
"Morning Daisy, Misty" both of them greeted.
"Good morning" both Misty and Daisy replied. After setting down both Togepi and Misty Daisy then sat down at the table.
Everybody then began to eat their meals and like last night Misty was the first to finish eating followed by her sisters. After breakfast, the sisters then left the kitchen and fed the rest of the water Pokémon in the gym. After that, they return to their rooms to change into their regular outfits.
Daisy then placed Misty on her shoulder then left her bedroom to join up with Violet and Lilly the latter of who was holding Togepi in her arms.
The three sisters then walked to the front doors of the gym, opened them, and left the gym with a Closed sign on the front doors. Beginning to walk down the street towards where the flower shop was located.
Of course, being local celebrities they were used to getting attention as a young girl, and her mother came up to them.
"Mommy look it's the Sensational Sisters," the young girl said with an excited smile on her face.
"Yes dear," the mother said before turning to the sisters. "I apologize for my daughter she's such a huge of you three"
"Oh that's okay Violet said.
"Would it be okay if my daughter got a picture with you three?" the mother asked
"Sure" Lilly replied.
The sisters and the young girl walked a few feet away from the young girl's mother before turning back to face her as the older woman readied her camera.
"Okay everybody smile," the mother said. Everyone smiled as she began snapping pictures and after they were done they walked back to where the mother has been standing.
"Thank you I'll get these developed and if you wouldn't mind could we come by the gym and get you to sign it," the mother said.
"Sure we'd like that" Daisy replied with Lilly and Violet nodding in agreement.
With a wave goodbye both the mother and daughter turned and began to walk away from the sisters, who then turned and resumed their walk to the flower shop that Misty had visited the day before. However, what they saw when they got there surprised them.
"Woah like what's going on over there?"Daisy wondered in confusion.
"Let's go check it out" Violet replied
"But let's be careful," Misty said.
"Agreed" Lilly added.
They walked closer to see a swarm of police officers in front of the flower shop with the yellow tape that read DO NOT CROSS in black letters on it.
They also noticed that the front door was flung wide open and glass was shattered by the door as officers continued to look inside and observe the scene.
"What happened here?" Misty wondered,
"Looks like a break-in happened " Daisy replied
Then they overheard two officers talking about what happened.
"So what happened here?" asked one officer
"I heard that a couple of thieves broke in and stole some violet-colored flower" replied the other officer.
"Why would anybody steal a flower?" asked the first officer.
"I heard a rumor that the flower in question has the power to shrink people" replied the second officer.
"Are you serious?" the first said in confusion
"Yeah it sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi movie" replied the second officer
"Anyway let's get back to work before Officer Jenny yells at us," said the first
"Good point" replied the second
Misty's eyes went wide with shock as she overheard the conversation "Someone stole the flower?" she said."Then that means until its found I'm stuck like this"
"So like what do we do then?" Daisy asked.
"Unless we can find it there's nothing we can do, so for now let's head to the Pokemon Center, inform Nurse Joy so that she can inform the Pokemon Inspection Agency," Misty said.
Her sisters agreed and they turned around and began to walk down the street towards the Pokemon Center. Coming up on the automatic doors they opened up allowing the sisters to go inside where they saw Nurse Joy helping people with their injured Pokemon. After all the trainers and their Pokemon had left she returned to being behind the counter.
"Hello is there something that I can help you three with?" Nurse Joy asked.
However, when she saw the tiny Misty on Daisy's shoulder her eyes went wide with shock.
"Hello, Nurse Joy we need to talk," Misty said.
After putting a "Be right back" sign on the counter. Nurse Joy quickly ushered the sisters to a small office room. Misty proceeded to explain what had happened to her and how she shrunk much to Nurse Joy's surprise.
"Wow, that certainly is a strange thing to happen," Nurse Joy said, still trying to process everything that had just been told to her.
"I wouldn't have believed it either until it happened to me" Misty explained.
"So what do you need me to do?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Well, I'm gonna need you to inform the Pokemon Inspection Agency that I'm sick and that my sisters are taking over as Gym Leaders for the time being until I recover, "Misty said.
"So you want me to lie to them?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Only because I don't think they'd believe a Gym Leader being shrunk" Misty replied.
"You have a point there, okay I'll do it," Nurse Joy said.
"Thanks a bunch, Nurse Joy" Misty replied
With the plan in place, Misty and her sisters left the Pokemon Center and headed back to Cerulean City Gym to get it ready for challengers.
Meanwhile, as the police continued their investigation two mysterious figures watched from the shadows. One of them raised their wrist and spoke into a small device.
"Dr. Namba we've recovered the Shrinking Violet," one of them said.
"Good bring it back here so we can continue to try and mass produce it to further our goal" Dr. Namba ordered.
"Yes sir" both his subordinates replied.
After ending the call had ended Dr. Namba grinned evilly.
"Who would suspect a fake flower as a way to steal Pokemon," he said.
